Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering muncul dalam pembelajaran menulis teks adalah penggunaan tes kinerja yang tidak tepat, sehingga diperlukan instrumen tes kinerja yang tepat. Tes kinerja yang dikembangkan berbasis konteks budaya lokal (Sumatera Barat). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan tes kinerja teks negosiasi dan teks debat yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau research and development. Model pengembangan penelitian mengacu pada model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri atas tiga tahap pengembangan, yaitu penelitian pendahuluan, fase prototyping, dan fase penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tes kinerja menulis teks negosiasi dan teks debat menggunakan konteks budaya Sumatera Barat siswa kelas X SMA untuk aspek isi validitas tes kinerja untuk aspek isi adalah 87,54%, dengan kategori sangat valid. Kedua, tes kinerja menulis teks negosiasi dan teks debat menggunakan konteks budaya Sumatera Barat siswa kelas X SMA untuk aspek kebahasaan validitas tes kinerja untuk aspek bahasa adalah 82, 28 dengan kategori sangat valid. Ketiga, tes kinerja menulis teks negosiasi dan debat berkategori praktis, dengan hasil 77,25%. Dengan demikian, tes kinerja berbasis budaya lokal dapat digunakan untuk dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis di tingkat menengah atas

Abstract

Latar Belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah terkait dengan kemampuan berfikir kritis anak yang belum berkembang dengan baik, dapat dilihat dari kemampuan anak dalam memecahkan masalah masih rendah, kemampuan anak dalam menemukan konsep sebab akibat dan metode pembelajaran terbilang monoton. Salah satu solusi dari masalah tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan metode discovery learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pre-eksperimental design, dengan tipe one group pretest-posttest design, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh anak kelas B TK Pertiwi Batusangkar dan didapatkan kelas B2 sebagai sampel sebanyak 13 anak. Tekhnik analisis data yang digunakan dengan cara membandingkan hasil rerata pre-test dan posttes kelompok eksperimen dengan cara  menguji statistik uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, adanya pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis setelah menggunakan metode discovery learning. Hal ini terlihat dari tabel hasil penelitian masing-masing subjek penelitian bahwa metode discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada anak usia 5-6 tahun sebesar 25,67. Berdasarkan analisis perhitungan statistik melalui taraf signifikan 1% terlihat to lebih besar tt maka hipotesis alternatif (ha) diterima artinya metode discovery learning dapat berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi, Kecamatan Lima Kaum, Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Penelitian dapat bermanfaat untuk kepala sekolah, guru, dan peneliti selanjutnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe some of the following. (1) The contribution of learning motivation of writing biography text of students. (2) The contribution of reading comprehension skill of writing biography text of students. (3) The contribution of learning motivation and reading comprehension skill together to writing biography text of students of class VIII Junior High School in Pesisir Selatan. This research was a quantitative research using correlational method. The population was class VIII students Junior High School of Pesisir Selatan Regency. The sample is 110 students. Techniques to data analysis using Pearson Product Moment Correlational test, multiple regression, t test, and F test. The results of the research are. 1) The learning motivation contribute significant by 20% to writing biography text. 2) The reading comprehension skill contribute significant by 37.5% to writing biography text. 3) The learning motivation and reading comprehension skill together contribute by 38% to the writing biography text. Based on the result of the research, can conclusion is learning motivation and reading comprehension skills together contribute and significant relationship to writing biography text skills.

Abstract

The quality of learning comes from learning that is designed and implemented by educators. An educator as the spearhead in the implementation of education is very influential in the learning process. Teaching and learning process activities One of the components that support learning so that it is carried out properly and regularly through learning media. Learning media as an intermediary between educators and students to understand learning more effectively and efficiently. The results of interviews with educators were very extraordinary at MTS Baabussalam during the Covid-19 pandemic, in the implementation of online learning, namely students were challenged to understand the teaching materials provided by educators in supporting the education of students, therefore students are required to learn through parental guidance at home. Learning media can be developed with interesting applications to support online learning. The approach between educators and students used in PKM program activities includes development training on learning media, one of which is using the Canva application which includes explanations about the Canva application, the history of the Canva application, the development of learning media for the Canva application, discussions and information exchange. Based on the results of training in making learning media, the Canva application greatly optimizes online learning for educators there. So, in pulling to the conclusion, the method that is my focus at this time is a qualitative method, which means research that focuses on analyzing events where the current research uses a theoretical basis that is factual in the field.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the Project Based Learning model integrated with Oral Corrective Feedback in teaching academic writing in tertiary institutions. This form of research uses an experimental methodology and is quantitative in nature. Matching Pretest-Post-Test Control Group Design was used as the research methodology. This research data collection strategy uses tests. The test given is a performance test, in which students make scientific articles to be published in journals. The research data processing technique was SPSS 17. Based on the findings and discussion it can be concluded that the use of the PjBL model integrated with Oral Corrective Feedback is more effective than using the PjBL model alone to teach students academic writing in the field. Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program, Padang State University. The use of this model is one of the innovations in learning based on the latest curriculum by integrating innovative language learning methods in learning in tertiary institutions.

Abstract

Bahasa berfungsi sebagai pembentuk ideologi dan penentu peran sosial dan salah satunya mengungkapkan peran gender. Pendidikan merupakan salah satu sarana untuk mengajarkan dan menerapkan pentingnya kesetaraan. Namun berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya, masih terdapat kesenjangan gender di lingkungan pendidikan, salah satunya melalui buku teks yang digunakan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi representasi gender dalam buku teks yang digunakan oleh siswa sekolah dasar di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis representasi gender berdasarkan enam kategori, yaitu kemunculan karakter gender dalam teks dan gambar, 'firstness', jenis karya, kata sifat, dan ilustrasi yang muncul. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa masih terdapat ketimpangan representasi gender yang tampak dalam buku teks.
