Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kesulitan belajar siswa pokok bahasan perkalian bentuk aljabar dalam pembelajaran daring di era Covid-19 untuk siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sei Bingai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 1 guru matematika dan 30 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sei Bingai. Rata-rata pencapaian siswa mengenai kesulitan belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan perkalian bentuk aljabar diindikator kebiasaan belajar yaitu 32% yang tergolong dalam kategori rendah. Rata-rata pencapaian siswa mengenai kesulitan belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan perkalian bentuk aljabar  dindikator motivasi belajar yaitu 37%  yang tergolong dalam kategori sedang. Rata-rata pencapaian siswa mengenai kesulitan belajar pada pokok bahasan perkalian bentuk aljabar siswa diindikator kendala teknik yaitu 42%  dan ketidakmampuan dalam pembelajaran daring yaitu 41% yang tergolong pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

The role of the PKN teacher is that with the motivation and directions given by the Civics teacher, student discipline can be formed from the example of the teacher and also from each one so that students are more disciplined in class and at school. Discipline is a form of obedient behavior and is subject to applicable regulations, but compliance is more emphasized on self-awareness not because of coercion. The school discipline applied to the students of Muhammadiyah 2 Binjai Timur Private Elementary School is quite good so that the discipline applied at school becomes positive. This research was conducted by means of observation and interviews with the principal of SD Swasta Muhammadyah 2 Binjai Timur with homeroom teachers and several students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) learning outcomes in mathematics, (2) the effect of WhatsApp media on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research is quasi-experimental. The population in this study were students of class VII SMP, totaling 36 students. In this study, the sample used was total sampling in which all populations were sampled in this study. The design used in this study was the pre-test post-test control group design. The research instrument was a learning outcome test and a learning difficulty questionnaire. To test the hypothesis using a paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that the post-test mean score that has been tested in the experimental class is 83.50. This means that the learning outcomes in the experimental class are seen by using the paired sample t-test of 0.006 <0.05, which means that there is a significant effect between the average value before treatment (pre-test) and the average value after treatment (post-test).

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat adalah suatu bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bersifat khusus, karena prinsip Pengabdian Masyarakat yaitu pendidikan dan pengajaran, penelitian serta pengabdian masyarakat yang terintegrasi dan relevan, dengan melibatkan sejumlah mahasiswa dan tenaga pengajar yang banyak ditambah termasuk komponen social yaitu unsure masyarakat. Kegiatan ini ditujukan untuk mengembangkan kepekaan rasa dan kondisisosial mahasiswa serta membantu proses meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita dan membaca siswa. Pengabdian Masyarakat Bersama membantu dalam upaya melestarikan lingkungan yang terdapat di tempat di mana kegiatan proses tersebut dilaksanakan.

Abstract

The revitalization of the SMK curriculum projects serves that students are not only ready to work but also be able to create jobs through entrepreneurship. SMK Students are provided additional hours of entrepreneurship coursework in order to foster creativity, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset among students. Furthermore, students are also required to possess a social entrepreneurial mindset, which encompasses a business development perspective that takes into account social, economic, environmental, and health factors. In this program, students are given training in making soap from used cooking oil. Used cooking oil is a waste that has promising business prospects. Appropriate processing of used cooking oil can yield valuable products that satisfy the needs of the community. As a result of this training, up to 97% of students have acquired greater understanding regarding the hazards and advantages associated with used cooking oil. Students possess advanced skills in producing soap products using used cooking oil. Furthermore, students develop a greater awareness regarding health and the environment.
