Abstract

Bagi sebagian kalangan belajar bahasa Inggris adalah sesuatu yang tidak mudah sehingga perlu pendamping untuk memperbaiki jika terjadi kesalahan. Belajar bahasa Inggris bisa diawali dengan memahami secara benar strukturnya sehingga dapat membantu dan  memberikan rasa percaya ciri saat mempelajari materi-materi selanjutnya seperti reading, listening maupun writing. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan suatu aplikasi chatbot untuk belajar struktur bahasa Inggris menggunakan media sosial. Pertimbangan utama penggunaan media sosial sebagai sarana pembelajaran yaitu sebagian besar aktifitas masyarakat hingga pelajar di musim pandemic ini menggunakan media sosial atau sarana belajar berbasis online, sehingga dirasa bahwa media sosial bukan sesuatu yang baru bagi khalayak ramai dan menjadi alternatif terbaik yang dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk menyampaikan materi struktur bahasa Inggris. Facebook dengan fasilitas chatfuel-nya digunakan untuk mengembangkan chatbot pembelajaran struktur bahasa Inggris dengan memanfaatkan metode Organization Exercise Items (OEI). Dengan menggunakan metode OEI maka chatbot secara otomatis akan memberikan bantuan apabila ada seseorang yang sedang belajar mengalami kesulitan. Aplikasi yang diberi nama ELA-bot atau English Learning Assistant Bot ini telah diimplementasikan pada mahasiswa program studi D3 Bahasa Inggris, Politeknik Negeri Malang. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa 98% mahasiswa menyatakan chatbot telah membantu dalam proses pembelajaran struktur Bahasa inggris.

Abstract

In the cultivation of teak plants often have problems because teak seeds have a thick and hard skin or impermiabel (difficult to penetrate) to water and gas so as to slow germination. The magnetic field can increase the growth rate in inactive seed seeds because the magnetic field affects the physical and chemical properties of water as a germination medium. Water exposed by the magnetic field can be absorbed easily with tissues in the seeds, thus shortening seed dormancy and increasing the percentage of seed germination. This study aims to understand the growth process of dormancy seed germination, To know the influence of magnetic fields on the growth of teak seed seeds, as a solution to the problem of seed dormancy in teak seed seeds. Therefore, the method used in this study is to provide exposure to teak seeds and make tools for monitoring teak growth in real time with the parameters of planting media moisture (to see the absorption of water) and high seeds (for the growth of teak seeds), so that used YL69 sensor for soil moisture and sharp infrared sensor gp2y0a02yk0f for high plants.

Abstract

A humanoid robot is a robot that has a human-like shape, which has a body and head, two arms and two legs that allow it to move and interact with the environment created by humans [1]. The humanoid soccer robot system currently used still uses the Robot Operating System (ROS) system, which is basically in the system without any encryption or data security every time communication is made by sending and requesting or what is commonly called Publish and Subscribe. In order to develop the humanoid soccer robot, this research is designed for "Implementation of Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-128) Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) Mode as Communication Security for Humanoid Robot Movement KRSBI". Which is designed to operate in low quality connectivity, with network bandwidth that secures every node running on the ROS which includes features for subscribing to topics and also publishing topics. Then with the addition of cryptography can keep data or messages safe when sent, from sender to receiver without experiencing interference from third parties. According to Bruce Scheiner in his book "Applied Cryptography", cryptography is the science and art of keeping messages secure. [2] So all communications are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), or more specifically Transport Layer Security (TLS).

Abstract

This research propose to design a coffee bean dryer by utilizing a heater as a heating element to replace sunlight for the drying process of coffee beans. Ultrasonic sensor for detecting coffee beans in the dryer. When the temperature reaches 50°C, the heater, dimmer and fan will automatically turn off. All data will be processed using NodeMCU which will then be sent to the codular application. By utilizing IoT (Internet Of Things) technology, it is hoped that it can help smallholder coffee farming owners in monitoring and automatic drying of the coffee beans to be dried. From the test results, it can be concluded that the initial weight before curing is 250 grams, while the weight after curing is 247 grams. This is because there is a decrease in the water content in the coffee beans. The DHT22 sensor is able to measure an average temperature of around 49.75°C with an average humidity of 51.45% during the day, while for the night it is able to measure an average temperature of around 49.75°C with an average humidity of around 46.8%. The process of sending information from the device to Google Firebase via an internet connection, which takes an average of 0.01 seconds or 10 milliseconds, with this delay is included in the very good category.

Abstract

Pests are one of the main enemies of rice farmers who at any time can attack crops. The impact of rice pest attacks can reduce the production of rice crops, causing crop yields to decline. One of the pests that often unsettling rice farmers is bird pests (Passer spp.) and rats (Hundred argentiventer), the pest attack is determined by the state of the climate, and the unwise use of insecticides and the manual expulsion of pests takes a lot of time.  To reduce the above problems in this study will develop new innovations in agriculture, through The Repellent Tool Automatically is one way to help rice farmers to pollute the environment and expulsion manually. In this tool is installed a micro controller raspberry pi 3 as a link between the pear sensor and the camera module, in addition raspberry pi 3 is integrated with the smartphone application in real-time for the process of monitoring the presence of pests and using speakers to repel pests. The test results obtained by rat pests are disturbed when the speakers emit an ultrasonic wave frequency of 34-45KHz and bird pests will be disturbed if the speakers emit a frequency of 60kHz. The PIR sensor can detect the presence of rat pests with a vulnerable distance of 5-50cm, while the camera detects the movement of bird groups and gets an accuracy percentage of 44.4% of the test results and an average delay of 1.08 seconds.

Abstract

Illegal parking in Malang State Polytechnic is still not well monitored. The Officer Pengamanan Dalam(Pamdal), whose job is to curb Polinema residents who park their vehicles, cannot monitor the vehicles regularly, so there are still many who park illegally. Based on this, an automatic system that can be used by Pamdal to monitor illegal parking in Polinema is needed. Therefore, "Illegal Parking Monitoring Information System Using Infrared Sensor Based On Android" was created. The system built uses several components, including Arduino Nano, ESP32 Cam, Infrared Sensor, and servo motor. With the making of this tool and research, it is hoped that it will be able to assist in disciplining polynemaic residents to order parking through monitoring of the system being built. Three pieces of equipment were made and placed in front of the AH Building, in front of the AI ??Building, and next to the AO Building. The results of the experiment for notifications from the three nodes have different delays in sending data from the node to the smartphone on the user side. Delay at node two has the greatest delay, which is 193.0708 ms. Meanwhile, node three has excellent performance with an average delay value of 107.0723 ms.

Abstract

The boarding house is a temporary residence and is used as a place to store valuables. One of the facilities that need to be improved is the security of the fence and door of the house, because houses are often targets for people who want to commit crimes, so a security system is needed. The majority of security systems on house door locks are currently manual security systems in the form of conventional padlocks. This study aims to develop a system to provide a better level of security accuracy on room doors and boarding house fences, and a payment reminder system so that boarding house payments are more controlled. To open the fence and door of the boarding house occupants, scan the QR code with the android application so that they can access the fence and door of the room. Status has not paid the rent will be given a warning in the form of a pop-up in the android application. The test results obtained are in the form of successful testing of the functionality of the miniature boarding house, testing the SmartKos application, firebase database, and the accuracy of data communication between firebase and NodeMCU in the form of delay with the worst value in the measurement. 3rd with a value of 3.89 s, the best throughput is in the 3rd measurement with a value of 43864 bps, packet loss in this study has an index of 4 because it has a packet loss value of 0%.

Abstract

Problems that are often faced by people with physical disabilities are those who have limited hands, one of which is when they will use the computer. His inability to grip and use the mouse is often a barrier in using the computer. The purpose of the design of the tool is to provide facilities for people with disabilities to be able to use a mouse that will be moved based on head movements without noise interference caused by the MPU-6050 sensor. The results of the tests carried out show that designing a mouse with the MPU-6050 sensor has been successfully carried out, the MPU-6050 sensor by implementing a kalman filter as a noise reducer on the X axis has an accuracy value with an average error percentage of 0.09% and at Y angle is 0.12%. Data transmission from the mouse to the computer is done wirelessly using bluetooth HC-05 can receive data well as far as 12.5 meters with an error percentage of 0%. The button on the mouse that functions to perform the left click function when the button is bitten 1x, right click when the button is bitten 2x and click and hold to do a left click 2x or double click can run according to the command, has a 100% success rate.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country known for its aquaculture. Regular feeding is influential in a good farming management system to obtain quality fish. However, the feeding system is still oriented to human resources that are still manual, resulting in an erratic feeding schedule and size, making it different for each feeding. Feeding planning must be precise so that fish growth is fast. In this research, an automatic fish feeder called "smart fish feeder" was made. This tool uses a microcontroller-based control system that is connected to the internet and an android application. In the control system circuit using the Arduino Uno connected to the ESP32 to be connected to the internet, there are also several actuator and sensor components. The control system gets input to adjust the smart fish feeder device through a smartphone with the smart fish feeder application installed. Based on the results of the tests carried out, for the ultrasonic sensor, the average error value is 6, the error percentage is 0.896%, and the accuracy is 99.104% with a measurement distance of 5-25cm. The loadcell sensor obtained an average error value of 2.8, a percentage error of 0.067%, and an accuracy of 99.933%.

Abstract

The pandemic period caused by the coronavirus disease causes restrictions on the number of users in a room to minimize the spread, for example, libraries. The library is a room area that can cause virus transmission when crowds of visitors. A system is needed to provide information regarding the number of library visitors. Utilizing a network (wifi transmitter) available in the library can provide information on the number of visitors based on the number of network users in a room. Utilization of the network (wifi transmitter) can be in the form of a positioning system by utilizing the wifi signal beam received by the user in RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator). To calculate the estimated user position, a trilateration method is used based on the placement of three wifi transmitters. The library visitor positioning system consists of users as wifi transmitter users and admins. At the X-coordinate, the measuring point with a low deviation of the measurement value is indicated by points C and E with a value of 0.1. The large deviation of the measurement value is indicated by the P point of 4.5. At the Y coordinate, point O has a low deviation value of 1.25, and the largest deviation value is at point M of 5.6. The accuracy of the X coordinate shows a value of 97.647% and at the Y coordinate of 96.57%. Both coordinates have good accuracy for the points used as position measurements.
