Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop a valid, practice and effective a bilingual scientific-worksheet of the indefinite integrals. This research is development research with 1) Preliminary investigation phase, 2) Prototyping phase, 3) Assessment phase. Data were collected from test and questionnaire and analyzed to examine validity, practicality, and effectiveness the worksheet. The result of this research was producing bilingual scientific-worksheet of indefinite integral materials that oriented for learning achievement improvement. The validity obtained content, language, and illustration from expert judgment. The practicality was on the relation, attention, belief, and student satisfaction. The effectiveness based on the result of achievement test on indefinite integral.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) and type Think Pair Share (TPS) toward the mathematic communication skill students of grade 8th in MTs N Godean. This type of research is comparative descriptive which aplies Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. An instrument used in this study there are two kinds of the instruments learning and instruments data collection. An instrument consisting of learning implementation lesson plans and sheets of student activity, instruments gather data consists of broad observation, questionnaire, a test (pretest and posttest) and documentation. Analysis of data on research use t test some help software Ms. Excel 2010 and SPSS 20. The results of research pretest and posttest show that experiment class with cooperative model type Think Talk Write (TTW) and control class with cooperative model type Think Pair Share (TPS) normal distribution, both classes are homogenous and both classes have the same initial capability. The cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) is same effective with cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS) toward the mathematic communication skill students. The level of effectiveness cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) is 0,30 with medium category and the level of effectiveness cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS) is 0,28 with low category. Cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) is same effective with cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS) because the students are individually active role in group discussions and there is the same syntax for these two models namely stage think.Keyword: Cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW), cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS), mathematic communication skill students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model PMRI dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif untuk peningkatan keterampilan berfikir matematis siswa. Melalui pembelajaran matematika, siswa diharapkan memiliki kemampuan berfikir logis,  analitis, sistematis, kritis, dan kreatif, serta memiliki kemampuan bekerjasama. PMRI adalah model pembelajaran yang bertitik tolah dari hal-hal yang real bagi siswa, menekankan keterampilan “proses of doing mathematics”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis penelitian Quasi-Experimental, dimana kelas kontrol diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran matematika melalui model kooperatif, sedangkan kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan model PMRI. Berdasarkan Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta untuk rata-rata nilai post test berfikir matematis kelompok eksperimen adalah 83.22 sedangkan untuk kelompok kontrol 58.58. Sedangkan di SMP Negeri 16 Yogyakarta nilai post test berfikir matematis kelas eksperimen sebesar 75.65, dan kelas kontrol 54.45. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis menggunakan uji t (independent samples T-Test) diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000 dengan taraf signifikan 2%, diperoleh kesimpulan Ho ditolak, sehingga terdapat hasil perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen setelah dikenakan Model PMRI. Berdasarkan uji pengaruh model pembelajaran masing-masing diperoleh t hitung di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta 0,292 dan SMP Negeri 3 Yogyakarta 0,346 dimana semua nikai tersebut lebih besar dari t tabel, sehingga Ho dengan hipotesis terdapat pengaruh model PMRI terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berfikir matematis.Kata kunci: Model Kooperatif, Model PMRI, Kemampuan Berfikir Matematis

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 on Education in Indonesia affects school activities rapidly. Teachers are no longer educated in classrooms only, but they can also utilize technology to conduct distance learning. One interactive application that can be used as a form of question exercise is Quizizz. Therefore, this research aims to: first, examine the effectiveness of students' activities by using Quizizz on mathematical problem-solving skills; second, investigate the differences in the increase in students' ability to solve mathematical problems between the class with and without the Quizizz-aided learning method; third, describe the activities of students who used the Quizizz-aided drill learning method; and fourth, describe the students' responses in using Quizizz. The research was quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The participants in this study are 67 of Grade10 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data collection techniques used were tests for students' mathematical problem-solving skills and questionnaires. The instruments were validated using Pearson correlation, while the reliability was tested using Cronbach's Alpha. Then, the N-gain test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that there was an effect on students’ learning activities by using Quizizz on their problem-solving skills. Besides, there was a difference in the improvement of problem-solving skills between the class with and without Quizizz-aided. Furthermore, students’ activities in three meetings have increased. Moreover, students provided a positive response in learning using Quizizz. Thus, it can be concluded that Quizizz is effective in improving mathematical problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to produce a valid interactive learning media assisted by Prezi. This research is development research using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The analysis stage consists of two activities namely needs analysis and needs identification. Furthermore, at the design stage, the researcher carried out four activities, namely collecting references, compiling texts, selecting media, and media design. At the development stage, validation activities are carried out by media experts and material experts. The instruments in this study were media validation sheets and a matter of mathematical understanding abilities. Based on the results of the study, it was found that interactive media assisted by Prezi to the ability of mathematical understanding was valid with an average value of 90.5% which was categorized as very valid. The developed interactive media makes it easy for students to understand the LESTV material, ranging from delivering material in the form of video, using voice and text in a user-friendly interface, and containing exercises based on interactive concept understanding indicators with the addition of adobe flash software and active presenter. Furthermore, interactive media assisted by Prezi on mathematical comprehension skills can be used on the topic of Linear Equation System in Two Variables (LESTV). Keywords: Interactive Media Prezi, LESTV, Mathematical Comprehension Ability Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan suatu media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Prezi yang valid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu Analysis, Desain, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Pada Tahap analysis terdiri dari dua kegiatan yaitu analisis kebutuhan dan identifikasi kebutuhan. Selanjutnya pada tahap design peneliti melakukan empat kegiatan yaitu mengumpulkan referensi, penyusunan teks, pemilihan media dan desain media. Pada tahap development dilakukan kegiatan validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi media dan soal kemampuan pemahaman matematis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh bahwa media interaktif berbantuan Prezi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis valid digunakan dengan nilai rata- rata sebesar 90,5% termasuk kategori sangat valid. Media interaktif yang dikembangkan memberikan kemudahan bagi siswa untuk memahami materi SPLDV, variatif mulai dari penyampaian materi dalam bentuk video, penggunaan suara dan teks interface yang user friendly, dan memuat latihan soal berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep yang interaktif dengan tambahan software adobe flash dan active presenter. Selanjutnya media interaktif berbantuan prezi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis dapat digunakan pada topik sistem persamaan linier dua variabel.
