Abstract

The aims of this research are to know the mastery of students’ mathematics learning in subjects instructional media both mastery of individual and classical completeness and how the response of students in teaching materials media based on local wisdom. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection conducted on 25 students selected by purposive sample then the learning done using handout based on local wisdom. Students make teaching aids in groups, then asked to respond the course using a handout. Completeness of learning in the subject obtained through the project in the form of the teaching aids they have made. Data collection is done by observation learning, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was done by quantitative and qualitative descriptive method. The result showed that student’s learning mastery both classical and individual had achieved and the average result of student’s response to teaching material of 76,35 shows a reliable interpretation. So that can be interpreted that the student response to learning media lectures using teaching materials get a good response from students.

Abstract

La sociolinguistique examine quelques secteurs comme le bilinguisme et la diglossie, l’alternance codique et le mélange codique, l’interférence et l’intégration. Le bilinguisme est le changement de l’utilisation de deux langues. Le bilinguisme causera les autres phénomènes des langues comme l’alternance codique et le mélange codique, la diglossie, et l’interférence. L’alternance codique est un phénomène de l’utilisation de la langue à cause du changement de la situation. Le mélange codique est une situation qu’il y a des éléments lexicaux et des éléments grammaticaux en deux langues dans une phrase. L’interférence est un changement du système de la langue à cause de l’influence de la langue maternelle à la langue seconde. Cette situation cause des fautes dans la langue seconde. Le locuteur bilingue qui est dans une étape d’apprentissage fait souvent l’interférence. L’interférence se produit dans tout le niveau linguistique: phonémique, morphémique, lexical, syntaxe, etc. Cette recherche a découvert quelles interférences utilisées par les étudiants en Production Écrite Intermédiaire. Les données utilisées dans cette recherche sont les textes écrites par les étudiants du quatrième semestre dans le cours de production écrite intermédiaire. Cette recherche a utilisé la méthode de lire attentivement dont la technique de base est la technique de reprise et dont les techniques d’avancée sont la technique lire attentivement sans participation dans le cours de production écrite intermédiaire et la technique de noter. La méthode d’analyse des données dans cette recherche est la méthode similitude dont la technique de base est la technique de diviser des constituants des déterminants et dont la technique d’avancée est la technique de relier-de comparerde différencier. Cette recherche a analysé 35 tâches des étudiants dans le cours de Production Écrite Intermédiaire. Les résultats d’analyse indiquent que les étudiants font l’interférence lexicale et l’interférence gramaticale. Le chercheur a trouvé 4 interférences lexicales et 51 interférences grammaticales. Les étudiants en quatrième semestre font beaucoup les interférences de l’indonésien au français, soit l’interférence lexicale soit l’interférence grammaticale. Ils font plus des interférences grammaticales que l’interférence lexicale parce qu’il y a la différence entre la grammaire de l’indonésien et du français, comme la règle de l’accord, l’utilisation de la préposition, la conjugaison du verbe, l’utilisation du temps

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design a digital module based on mathematical communication skills. This a development research which is carried out to determine the use of poor learning media and students’ low comprehensive skills in understanding mathematical topics associated with relations and functions. One of the solutions used to overcome this problem is by designing a digital teaching module using media. The research and development method consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE), were used to carry out this study. The results showed that the digital module is highly valid with a total expert validation of 95.1% and in the very good category. Also, the students' response to the digital module is in the very good category, with a total response criterion of 89.8%. Therefore, the designed digital module has the ability to improve students' independence in learning because its use is not limited to classrooms.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out the improvement of students' understanding of concepts in the basic mathematics subject of relations and functions. This type of research is an experiment, with one group pretest-posttest design research design. The study population was all first-level students of the Primary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD). The determined sample is class I.A as many as 26 students with a purposive sampling technique. Research instruments in the form of UTS questions and tests of students' conceptual understanding. Testing this hypothesis using the t-test. Before conducting a hypothesis test, first test the normality and homogeneity. The student group is divided into three categories, namely high, low, and medium based on UTS results. Furthermore, based on the normalized gain score test obtained an increase in the ability of mathematical understanding for groups of students who have high and medium ability with sufficient criteria. While the group of students who have low ability has an increase with low criteria. Overall the implementation of learning media using Macromedia flash can improve students' mathematical understanding abilities by 0.403, including enough categoriesKeywords: Macromedia Flash, Relationships and Functions, Mathematical Understanding

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 on Education in Indonesia affects school activities rapidly. Teachers are no longer educated in classrooms only, but they can also utilize technology to conduct distance learning. One interactive application that can be used as a form of question exercise is Quizizz. Therefore, this research aims to: first, examine the effectiveness of students' activities by using Quizizz on mathematical problem-solving skills; second, investigate the differences in the increase in students' ability to solve mathematical problems between the class with and without the Quizizz-aided learning method; third, describe the activities of students who used the Quizizz-aided drill learning method; and fourth, describe the students' responses in using Quizizz. The research was quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The participants in this study are 67 of Grade10 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data collection techniques used were tests for students' mathematical problem-solving skills and questionnaires. The instruments were validated using Pearson correlation, while the reliability was tested using Cronbach's Alpha. Then, the N-gain test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that there was an effect on students’ learning activities by using Quizizz on their problem-solving skills. Besides, there was a difference in the improvement of problem-solving skills between the class with and without Quizizz-aided. Furthermore, students’ activities in three meetings have increased. Moreover, students provided a positive response in learning using Quizizz. Thus, it can be concluded that Quizizz is effective in improving mathematical problem-solving skills.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the performance of Peking ducks which were added with galangal flour in their rations. The research method was an experimental method using a completely randomized design with 6 treatments and 4 replications where each replication consisted of 4 ducks. The study was conducted for 56 days. The research materials were 96 Day Old Ducks, rations (milled corn, bran, tofu dregs, and kale waste), drinking water, sugar water and calx. The equipment used were a stage cage, a litter, a place for feeding and drinking, a scale, stationery and other equipment. The treatments consisted of P0 = basal ration, P1 = P0 + 0.1% galangal flour, P2 = P0 + 0.2% galangal flour, P3 = P0 + 0.3% galangal flour, P4 = P0 + 0.4% galangal flour, and P5 = P0 + 0.5% galangal flour. The variables observed were feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion, and mortality. Data were analysed using analysis of variance. The results showed that the addition of galangal flour in the ration had a significant effect (P <0.05) on ration consumption and body weight gain and had no significant effect (P> 0.05) on ration conversion and mortality. The conclusion of this research is that the performance of Peking ducks which were given the addition of galangal flour in the ration could increase the feed consumption and body weight gain, but has not been efficient in reducing the value of feed conversion and the percentage of mortality.

Abstract

Penyusunan soal berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) masih belum dipahami dan dikuasai dengan baik oleh guru di SDN Sadagori 1 Kota Cirebon. Padahal kemampuan ini sangat penting untuk dimiliki setiap pendidik dalam rangka mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi kompetisi pada abad 21. Soal HOTS tidak serta merta dapat dikuasai oleh siswa tanpa adanya stimulus yang diberikan. Oleh karena itu tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang ciri-ciri soal HOTS dari C4 – C6, strategi membuat pengecoh yang efektif/berfungsi, mengubah soal LOTS menjadi HOTS serta memberikan pengalaman langsung dalam membuat soal HOTS dan pengecohnya. Metode pelaksanaan PKM terdiri dari tiga tahap, yakni pendahuluan, solusi mitra, dan evaluasi. Pengabdian ini melibatkan 19 guru, 3 observer dan 2 pemateri. Pada saat pelatihan berlangsung, semua guru aktif dalam bertanya saat pemaparan materi maupun diskusi kelompok dalam membuat soal HOTS dan pengecohnya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi setiap opictor pencapaian berhasil dikuasai oleh guru. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini disambut baik oleh seluruh guru dan kepala sekolah. Harapannya kegiatan ini dapat berkesinambungan dengan mengambil opic-topik atau isu yang sedang hangat dibidang Pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of reflective mathematical abstraction which consists of the ability to apply concepts, the ability to make relationships between concepts to form new meanings, and the ability to manipulate abstract mathematical objects. This research is a qualitative research with type of case study. The sample used in this study was one senior high school student of class X. The method of collecting data to find the results of the study was to use a test instrument for building questions and interviews. These instruments are validated first using Expert Judgment Validation. The results obtained by indicator one and indicator two, student still find it difficult to understand the concept and choose which other concept is suitable to obtain a solution. Meanwhile, on the third indicator student can manipulate abstract mathematical objects. So that the student' mathematical abstraction ability is still quite good.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to produce a valid interactive learning media assisted by Prezi. This research is development research using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The analysis stage consists of two activities namely needs analysis and needs identification. Furthermore, at the design stage, the researcher carried out four activities, namely collecting references, compiling texts, selecting media, and media design. At the development stage, validation activities are carried out by media experts and material experts. The instruments in this study were media validation sheets and a matter of mathematical understanding abilities. Based on the results of the study, it was found that interactive media assisted by Prezi to the ability of mathematical understanding was valid with an average value of 90.5% which was categorized as very valid. The developed interactive media makes it easy for students to understand the LESTV material, ranging from delivering material in the form of video, using voice and text in a user-friendly interface, and containing exercises based on interactive concept understanding indicators with the addition of adobe flash software and active presenter. Furthermore, interactive media assisted by Prezi on mathematical comprehension skills can be used on the topic of Linear Equation System in Two Variables (LESTV). Keywords: Interactive Media Prezi, LESTV, Mathematical Comprehension Ability Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan suatu media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Prezi yang valid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu Analysis, Desain, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Pada Tahap analysis terdiri dari dua kegiatan yaitu analisis kebutuhan dan identifikasi kebutuhan. Selanjutnya pada tahap design peneliti melakukan empat kegiatan yaitu mengumpulkan referensi, penyusunan teks, pemilihan media dan desain media. Pada tahap development dilakukan kegiatan validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi media dan soal kemampuan pemahaman matematis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh bahwa media interaktif berbantuan Prezi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis valid digunakan dengan nilai rata- rata sebesar 90,5% termasuk kategori sangat valid. Media interaktif yang dikembangkan memberikan kemudahan bagi siswa untuk memahami materi SPLDV, variatif mulai dari penyampaian materi dalam bentuk video, penggunaan suara dan teks interface yang user friendly, dan memuat latihan soal berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep yang interaktif dengan tambahan software adobe flash dan active presenter. Selanjutnya media interaktif berbantuan prezi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis dapat digunakan pada topik sistem persamaan linier dua variabel.
