Abstract

The Influence of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model on Mathematical Representation Ability and Student Learning Motivation at PAB 10 Sampali Private Elementary School. Thesis. Medan: UNIMED Postgraduate Program, 2020. This study aims to determine 1) the magnitude of the influence of the learning model on students' mathematical representation abilities and learning motivation; 2) the magnitude of the influence of early mathematical abilities on the ability of mathematical representation and student learning motivation; and 3) the interaction between the learning model and the initial mathematical ability of the mathematical representation ability and student learning motivation. The research was conducted in private SD PAB 10 Sampali with a sample of 2 classes with each class totaling 35 students. This research is a type of experimental research all with a 2 × 2 factorial design. The results showed that there is an effect of the learning model on the students 'mathematical representation ability, where the jigsaw cooperative learning model has a 9.1% higher effect on students' mathematical representation abilities than the expository learning model, there is an effect of initial mathematical ability on students 'mathematical representation abilities, where the high initial mathematical ability of students has an 11.5% higher effect on students' mathematical representation abilities compared to low initial mathematical abilities, there is no interaction between the learning model and the students 'mathematical initial ability to the students' mathematical representation ability.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the implementation of the curriculum oriented to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), 2) student responses to the six tasks required in the KKNI curriculum, 3) the quality of student performance and achievement with the implementation of the KKNI curriculum. This research is a descriptive qualitative research which aims to describe the implementation of the curriculum oriented to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI). Subjek in this study were undergraduate students-1 in the first semester, three, and five mathematics education of UNIMED. The subjects who were subjected to in-depth interviews were randomly selected six students. Data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires and observations of the lecture process and in-depth interviews. The object of this research is the implementation of the KKNI curriculum, student responses, performance, and achievement oriented to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI). Based on data analysis, it is found that: 1) The implementation of the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) has not been carried out optimally or well in the mathematics education lecture process, 2) Students have a positive response to the application of the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), 3) Performance Quality is quite good in the application of the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), 4) Students' learning achievement is quite low in the application of the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practicality of the learning modules developed based on the Realistic Mathematical Approach with autograph software, to analyze the effectiveness of the learning modules developed based on the Realistic Mathematical Approach assisted by autograph software, and to describe the improvement of students' mathematical creative thinking abilities through learning modules developed based on the Mathematical Approach. Realistic assisted autograph software. The data were obtained through the learning module validity sheet consisting of the lesson plan validation sheet and the mathematical creative ab ility test validation sheet, student response questionnaires and teacher interview guidelines for the learning module and the learning module effectiveness instrument seen from the students' mathematical creative test results. Module development in this study uses the Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel development models, namely the 4-D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The results of the research were students and teachers stated that the developed device was easy to use, the students' critical thinking ability obtained classical completeness with a percentage of 87.5%, the level of student activity met the ideal time tolerance criteria set, student responses to the components of learning devices and learning activities is positive. The increase in creative thinking skills in the first try was 77.9, an increase in the second try to 81.64.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on students' mathematical critical thinking skills and Adversity Quotient. In addition, this study was also to see the interaction between learning and gender on students' mathematical critical thinking skills and Adversity Quotient. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were all students at SMP N 4 LubukPakam for the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling 384 students. The research sample was 60 students, namely 30 students in class VII-1 and 30 students in class VII-2. The sample was selected by cluster random sampling. The instruments used were the mathematical critical thinking ability test and the Adversity Quotient attitude scale. The data obtained were analyzed using ANAVA in the Spss 20 program. The results showed that: 1) there was an effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on students' mathematical critical thinking skills with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05. 2) there is an effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on students' Adversity Quotient with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05. 3) there is no interaction between learning and gender on students' mathematical critical thinking skills with a significance value of 0.750> 0.05. 4) there is an interaction between learning and gender on students' Adversity Quotient with a significance value of 0.013 <0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of students' mathematical concept understanding and creative thinking skills who are taught using a problem-based learning model, to find out the description of the student's answer process in learning using a problem-based learning model, to determine the difficulties in the process of understanding concepts and mathematical creative thinking of students who are taught using problem-based learning models, as well as to find out the active activities of students during the learning process using problem-based learning models. Data were obtained through tests of students' conceptual understanding and creative thinking tests, interviews with students and teachers, observations or observations by observers, and documentation. This research uses qualitative data analysis using Miles and Huberman's model, namely data reduction, display data, and conclusion drawing / verification data. The subjects of this study involved class X SMA Angkasa 1 Lanud Soewondo who were treated with the application of a problem-based learning model in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 school year, totaling 21 people with three-variable linear equation system material as many as 4 items in essay form. Based on the results of the study, there were 21 students with 'very low' creative thinking skills and 14% 'very low' creative thinking skills, 14% 'low' creative thinking skills, 43% 'medium' creative thinking abilities, 43% thinking skills creative 'high' as much as 19%, and 'very high' creative thinking ability as much as 10%.
