Abstract

Abstract The problem in this research is "What is the influence of applying Mind Mapping model to student learning outcomes in civic education learning in class V State Elementary School 36 Pontianak South?". This research uses experimental method of quasi-experimental type with experimental design of Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of all students in grade V of Pontianak South. Sampling is non probability sampling type purposive sampling is student in class V State Elementary School 36 Pontianak South. Technique of data collection using measurement technique form using objektive test. The result of data processing is obtained by mean of pre-test of control class 58,44 and mean experiment class pre-test 57,9. Based on the data normality test results using the formula of chi-squares data is normally distributed. Futhermore, the homogenneity test data with Fcount(1,12)< Ftable (1,98), expressed homogeneous and continued t test by formula polled varians, obtained t_ count (4,26) > t _table (1,6749) with dk = 48, then Ha accepted. So, it can be concluded there is influence of student learning outcomes that apply Mind Mapping model. The result of calculation effect size (ES), obtained by 0.57 (medium criterion). This means that the application of a contextual approach to civic education learning provides a moderate impact on the outcomes of fourth grade students of State Elementary School 36 Pontianak South. Keyword : Influence, Mind Mapping, Learning outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis research is titled The Connotative Meaning and Languange Style In The Song’s Lyrics Album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata By Coffternoon. Generally this research aims to describe meaning based connotative taste value as well as usage variety of language styles contained in the album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon. Method used in this research is descriptive method according to the problem under study with qualitative research forms. The source of the data is 10 from 11 songs in the album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon, and the data is words and phrases in which there is connotative meanings and various styles of language. The main technique used in this research is a documentary study technique, transcription technique, and data analysis technique. Based on these conclusions, kind of connotative meaning the most widely used contained in album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon is a type good connotation meaning which amounts to 54, and the most dominant variety of language styles in album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon is variety of comparative language styles which amounts to 80. Keywords: Album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata, Connotative Meaning, Languange Style

Abstract

 AbstractThis research aims to determine the effect of student learning outcomes using media leaflets on students of class XI IIS Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pontianak. The method of research used experiemental with One-Group Pre-test post-test design. The sample in this research was the students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pontianak class XI IIS 2. Material taught the period of Japanese government in Indonesia. The research instrument in this research used the form of multiple choice test with 20 questions. The result of student's answer shows the difference of students' learning outcomes. Before the experiment results the average of student learning outcomes was 64.3750 and after the experiments (mean) shows score was 81.5625. The difference in learning outcomes is indicated by the results of a t-test (paired simple T-test) with ρ or significance values of the sig (2-tailed) columns generated through statistical analysis using SPSS version 24 (0,000), smaller than 0,05 = 5% (or 0,000 <0.05), decision-making by comparison of probability values. Based on these results then Ho is rejected, and Ha accepted. Utilization of leaflet media as a medium of learning at this time is not unfamiliar for students of class XI IIS. From the results of these data concluded that leaflet learning media can give effect to the results of student learning class XI IIS 2 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pontianak Keywords: Effect, Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pontianak, Media leaflets, Student learning outcomes
