Abstract

When designing a car, it is very important to pay attention to the construction and design of the vehicle. This is useful for getting the security and comfort of users in driving a car. In this study, car body design must have the smallest drag coefficient possible. if the vehicle has a large drag coefficient value, it has a large influence on the efficiency or performance of the vehicle, especially in cars with a large Cd value that will greatly affect vehicle speed. This is useful for minimizing the fuel used, and allows the vehicle to reduce the friction forces caused by air while driving. To get drag coefficients, Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) software is used. The software used is Solidworks Flow Simulation. From the results of aerodynamic simulations on four alternative car bodies carried out in this study, the smallest Cd (Coefficient Drag) is the second car body model, which has a Drag Coefficient (Cd) = 0.21Keywords: Car, Aerodynamics, Vehicle Dynamics, Drag Coefficient

Abstract

Research related to halal food is dominated by halal manufactured products compared to halal restaurants products. Halal is a matter that concerns every aspect of Muslim life including food, it is important to know the factors that affect the purchase of restaurant product, in this case a halal restaurant. This research tries to find determinants of purchasing restaurant food in Indonesia. The model provide time dimension-based. Data collection was carried out through 438 questionnaires for Indonesian Muslim respondents and only 420 questionnaires could be analyzed. This research found that the halal label is not a direct variable that can influence restaurant food purchases. Men and women have different preferences in buying restaurant food. The results of this study are expected to be able to encourage restaurant manufacturers to adopt halal certification to increase sales. This research focuses on looking for determinants of restaurant food purchases, with time dimension-based modeling.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment, work motivation, organizational culture, and compensation moderated by Islamic work ethic on employee performance. Methods of data collection by distributing questionnaires to the RSI Magelang City. The questionnaire was obtained and then tested as many as 80 respondents with the purposive sampling method. The data was then tested using multiple regression analysis and moderated analysis Regression (MRA) to determine the effect of the independent variable and the effect of moderation on the dependent variable with the help of the SPSS version 23 application. The results showed that (1) the work environment had a significant effect on employee performance. , (2) work motivation has no significant effect on employee performance, (3) organizational culture has no significant effect on employee performance, (4) compensation has a significant effect on employee performance, (5) Islamic work ethic is not able to moderate the independent variables, for example, the work environment, work motivation, and organizational culture for their influence on employee performance, but for the compensation variable it can be moderated by Islamic work ethic for its influence on employee performance with a negative coefficient.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the influence of guided inquiry learning methods towards student’s learning activities and student’s learning result. The design of this research was pretest-posttest with non equivalent. The subject of this research was student in the  class VIIA and VIIB, chosen by cluster random sampling.  This research used qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data was the observation sheet of learning activities. The quantitative data was obtained from research of learning and analyzed statistically by t-test. The activities of student’s cooperative in all observed aspects had moderate level that was 77,69 %. The result showed that inquiry learning methods improves student’s achievement in experiment class by average N-Gain about 56,83. Thus, guided inquiry learning methods could increase student’s learning activities and student’s learning result on the subject the characteristic of  organisms. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Desain yang digunakan yaitu pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif berupa lembar observasi aktivitas belajar. Data kuantitatif berupa hasil belajar dan dianalisis secara statistik melalui uji-t. Aktivitas belajar siswa dari semua aspek yang diamati berkeriteria baik  yaitu 77,69%. Hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata N-gain 56,83. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan  aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok ciri-ciri makhluk hidup. Kata kunci :  aktivitas, hasil belajar, metode inkuiri terbimbing

Abstract

This studyaims to analyze the internal and external environment and accomplish the competitive strategy for agro-industry entrepreneurs of SGN soybean milk powder.  A'WOT analysis which combines AHP and SWOT was used Expert Choice 2000 Software. The results of this research thatindicated the priority strategy for the agro-industry development of SGN soybean milk powder are (1) Product development (2) Optimizing available resources, (3) Efficiency with reducing production cost, (4) Improving the quality of human resources through training regularly, (5) Maintaining the quality and image of the product, (6) Utilizing the KUR program from the Government and (7) Coordinate with relevant parties to inhibit the entry of newcomers. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the management of human resources in developing the quality of education. This research is a qualitative research that is literature study using data sources in the form of reference books and scientific journal articles. The results of this study are human resource management is very important in improving the quality of education. Education can progress and develop with the support of qualified human resources. Therefore, every education that wants to progress and develop must pay attention to human resources and manage it as well as possible so that quality education is realized. In improving quality, human resources become influential because human resources in this case educators are a central factor in education, considering that it is very important in improving the quality of education. With the use of human resources by managers (leaders) in an organization or educational institution effectively and efficiently, it will take advantage of the goals of the educational institution, and the utilization of human resources starts from proper planning, solid organization, proper and professional staffing, Guidance and supervision that are not properly controlled will ensure the functioning of the managerial process. Human resources are an important factor for the success of an educational institution, for that human resources need to be managed as well as possible through human resource management.
