Abstract

The study aims to determine the quality of the Environmental Physics pocket book based on generic science skills developed in terms of students' interest in learning before and after learning with a pocket book. The pocket book was developed through research and development (R & D.) abbreviated R&D. The research subjects were A2 class students of the Physics Education Study Program class of 2016. The research design to look at the effect of learning with a pocket book on learning interest was by one group pretest posttest. In addition to seeing the effect of learning with a pocket book on student learning interest, the developed pocket book also reviews students' responses to the pocket book during the development process. The research data in the form of students' interest scores were calculated by their N gain values, tested for normality and homogeneity and statistically tested by the t-sample statistical test. Student response data is calculated by the average percentage of positive responses and negative responses. The development of a pocket book has gone through a review process by two media experts and one material expert that has produced the result that a pocket book is suitable for use. The influence of pocket books on students' interest in learning that is pocket books can increase student interest in learning with an average N-Gain of 55% while the statistical t test conducted shows that the developed pocket books are able to significantly increase student learning interest.

Abstract

Based on the results of field observations to study physics, discovered the problem that when the learning process is still on going in other words the student center still conventional. The process of teaching and learning by teachers is an activity students store information in a passive mind and considered vacant, students only received verbal information from books and teachers. Though the learning of physics is based on the scientific principles of good processes, products and scientific attitude should be oriented guided inquiry. The research objective was to determine: 1) increase students' critical thinking skills using guided inquiry models, 2) the activity of teachers in the learning process by using a model of guided inquiry, 3) the activity of students in the learning process by using a model of guided inquiry, 4) The response of students to the learning model in teaching and learning classroom XI IPA1 MAN Darussalam academic year 2015/2016 amounted to 24 students. Data were obtained from the tests, observation and questionnaires, the research methods class act. The technique of data analysis using descriptive statistics with percentage formula. Based on the results of this study indicated that: 1) critical thinking skills test results obtained value (56.45) in the first cycle, (63.96) in the second cycle and (72.70) in the third cycle. 2) the activity of the dominant teacher appears that aspects of planning and carrying out simple investigations and communicate the results of the investigation (14.6%). 3) the dominant activity of students appearing is formulate aspects of the problem and communicate the results of the investigation (14.6%). 4) The response of students feel that the inquiry learning model to increase critical thinking skills using guided inquiry learning model achieving the highest percentage of 94.21%.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1. To see the function of air pressure from a scientific perspective. 2. To see the function of air pressure in the perspective of the Qur'an. 3. To see the relationship between the study of the function of air pressure from a scientific perspective and the Koran. This study used qualitative research methods. The type of research used in this research is library research. The instrument in qualitative research is a person or human instrument, namely the researcher himself. As a human instrument in this study, researchers must have broad insight and theory in order to be able to ask, analyze, take pictures and construct the social conditions under study to be clearer and show. The technique of reading data that researchers use in library research is by reading, interviewing and triangulation. Research results: 1. Study of Air Pressure Function in Science Perspective is according to science air pressure is a force that moves air particles carrying air particles in the direction of the earth's force. 2. The study of the function of air pressure in the perspective of the Koran is based on the perspective of the Koran, the air pressure is described into the atmospheric layer which is described in QS: Al-An'am (6) verse 125. 3. The relationship between the study of the pressure function The air in the perspective of science and the Koran is the relationship between science and the Qur'an expressed as an integrated relationship. This integration can be described in two forms, namely natural theology (natural theology) which views scientific findings as a means of reaching God, and natural theology (theology of nature).

Abstract

This research was conducted with a team of lecturers from Malikussaleh University with the aim of realizing environmental-based learning through the use of waste as a learning medium that sharpens the creativity of teachers and students. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Safinatussalamah Al-Munawarah. Dayah Safinatussalamah Al-Munawarah is located in Blang Panyang Village, Muara Satu District, Lhokseumawe City. The time of the research was carried out on August 9, 2021 and the place of research was at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Safinatussalamah Al-Munawarah. The population in this study were all MTsN students at the Safinatussalamah Al-Munawarah Islamic Boarding School and the sample was the 1st grade students of MTsN Safinatussalamah Al-Munawarah. The research uses a 'qualitative' approach. The research conducted is descriptive. The instruments in this study were observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study: (1) Data Collection, (2) Data Reduction, (3) Data Verification, (4) Drawing Conclusions. The results of the study can be concluded that this activity teaches students to love the environment by utilizing inorganic waste and making inorganic waste as a product of learning media can also increase student creativity and learning outcomes, this is because students better understand the concept of learning by seeing and working through learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to determined whether there was an increase in student cognitive learning outcomes through the use of a Moodle-based Learning Management System in mathematics and physics learning.. This type of research uses a pre experimental design. The population in this study were students of Babussalam SMKS, while the sample was class XI students of the Babussalam North Aceh Islamic Boarding School. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of research data, The percentage of the number of students who met the completeness criteria in the physics class was 67% while in the mathematics class it was 91%. The average N-gain of cognitive learning outcomes for mathematics class was 0.6, higher than the N-gain average for Physics subjects, 0.475. This is because physics learning is not sufficiently taught through the delivery of material through Moodle, but must involve students in learning with a scientific approach. In this study, Moodle has not optimally integrated learning activities with a scientific approach so that cognitive learning outcomes have not reached the expected targets in physics subjects and  learning is not sufficiently taught through the delivery of material through Moodle, but must involve students in learning with a scientific approach. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model Inkuiri Terbimbing dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa melalui Simulasi Phet dan untuk mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap model Inkuiri Terbimbing melalui Simulasi Phet. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre experimental Design, rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dengan penentuan kelas XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas Ekaperimen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pemahaman konsep siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata Pretest 54.82 % dan Posttest 81,58 %. Hasil uji N-Gain Score memperoleh nilai rata-rata dari kelas eksperimen sebesar 54.82 % dalam katagori (Sedang), dan mendapatkan hasil respon siswa yang menjawab setuju sebesar 50,51%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model Inkuiri Terbimbing dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada kelas XI MIA 2 dan mendapatkan respon positif pada materi Elastisitas di SMA Negeri 2 Bireuen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan modul pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar kgnitif siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design, pupulasi yang diambil adalah kelas X semester genap 2020/2021 SMA Negeri 1 Teupah Selatan. Teknik pengambilan Sampel menggunakan desain non probability sampling. Sampel yang diambil adalah kelas X-MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang terdiri dari 22 siswa dan kelas X-MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang terdiri dari 22 siswa. Instrument pengumpulan data menggunakan tes (pretest dan postest), instrument non tes (wawancara dan dokumentasi). Rata-rata nilai pretest pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 19.18 dan 18.91, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas konrol adalah 80.36 dan 39.09. uji analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji independent T test dengan signifikan  pada hasil belajar kognitif siswa diperoleh signifikan- 2-tailed sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga  Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan analisis tes tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan modul pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI terhadap pembelajaran fluida dinamis dengan menggunakan model Problem Solving melalui simulasi PhET. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dan desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control design group, dengan kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep serta lembar kerja peserta didik. Hasil penelitian diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS untuk mengetahui apakah data bersifat normal dan homogen atau tidak, serta untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI MIPA 3 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas XI MIPA 1. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Problem Solving melalui simulasi PhET dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Dewantara.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini di lakukan di Desa Meuria Paloh Kecamatan Muara Satu Kota Lhokseumawe. Hasil observasi awal melalui wawancara team pengabdian dengan mitra di desa Meuria Paloh, permasalahan yang umum terjadi di tanaman hidroponik adalah  pemakaian listrik selama 24 jam dikarenakan aliran air nutrisi mengandalkan pompa listrik, jika listrik mati maka aliran nutrisi pun terhenti, adapun permasalahan prioritas di alami mitra adalah selain pemakaian listrik 24 jam juga seringnya pemadaman listrik di desa serta berpengaruh pada debit air, jika tidak ideal 1-2 liter/menit maka tanaman akan mati. Tanaman hidroponik berbantuan panel surya selain menghemat lahan juga menghemat energi cara ini sangat menguntungkan. Tujuannya adalah untuk menumbuhkan perekonomian masyarakat serta menghemat energi listrik. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan di lokasi Angrowisata Hidroponik  dan angket yang disebarkan didapatkan respon dari masyarakat yang luar biasa. Penghematan biaya yang dikeluarkan secara signifikan memberikan pengaruh terhadap profit yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan keterampilan calon guru\ di program studi pendidikan fisika FKIP universitas Malikussaleh dalam menggunakan alat peraga fisika berbasis lingkungan pada pembelajaran kontekstual.  Selain itu, Pelatihan ini juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kerja sama akademik antara sekolah dan universitas dan pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai media dalam pembuatan alat peraga. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini terdiri dari (1) metode Ceramah/Penyuluhan, dimaksudkan untuk menyampaikan informasi untuk materi yang bersifat umum dan teoritis, dalam hal ini adalah materi pembuatan alat peraga berbasis lingkungan dengan penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning), (2) metode Dialogis, dimaksudkan untuk Tanya jawab dan diskusi tentang bagaimana pembuatan alat peraga. (3) Metode Pelatihan, dimaksudkan mampu menekan tingkat kebosanan siswa saat mempelajari konsep fisika sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, dan memberikan gambaran kepada calon guru bahwa proses belajar-mengajar dengan menggunakan alat peraga sangat efektif untuk dilakukan. Kegiatan pelatihan untuk calon-calon guru dalam pembuatan alat peraga banyak memberikan manfaat, karena calon- calon guru bisa merancang dan mempraktekkan langsung di depan siswanya sehingga menghasilkan pembelajaran yang efektif.
