Abstract

This study aims to determine how teachers can implement human resource management (HR) at the Integrated Islamic School (SIT). This study focuses on teacher human resources at a Junior High School (SMPIT) Jambi. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the field research show that the implementation of teacher HR management at SMPIT Al Fatih Jambi has not been implemented perfectly, judging from the performance of the teachers and the lack of firmness of a leader or principal. Several things must be considered, especially with regard to the selection process, placement, and teacher performance.

Abstract

Principal performance against the various tasks and functions of the head of school as the principal as administrator edukator, Manager, supervisor, leader, innovator and motivator is running optimally. The performance of teachers viewed from four aspects assessed i.e. completeness program teaching teachers, presenting lessons learned evaluation and analysis of results the pupils as well as program improvement and enrichment. Of the four aforementioned aspects specifically on program improvements and enrichment there are still weaknesses such as the preparation of a test and the material over and over again at each school, which shows that the level of creativity of teachers compile the material is still very limited. The participation of the community against the school officials have not yet fully demonstrated good cooperation is caused by the low academic ability Community Association (School Committee) so it has limited plays an active role in activities such as academic nature, the formulation of the mission, the vision in planning and supervision mechanism in the implementation of the management of the school. As for the supporting factors of implementing school-based management in SMP Negeri 13 Sarolangun, among others: the existence of a partnership between the school principal by all of the partieswho are in the school, a large Fund of support which can be technically or conceptually so that the implementation of school-based management reflect the democratization of education. Abstract

Academic supervision is important to improve teacher’s competency. This study aimed at revealing how thep academic supervision for Madrasah supervisor was implemented to improve the professional competence of religion teachers at MTS N 8 Bungo, Jambi. This study also explained some factors which affected the process of implementation, barriers and efforts in conducting that academic supervision. This study used qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects of the research were Madrasah supervisors, Madrasah headmasters, and the teachers. The results of the study showed that the performance of Madrasah supervisors at MTS N 8 Bungo, Jambi was not optimal. It can be seen from the fact that the process of the supervision had not been conducted based on laws. As the result, the teachers’ professionalism had not been improved yet.

Abstract

Guru bimbingan konseling berperan penting dalam konseling, bimbingan untuk mengembangkan minat dan bakat siswa, serta bimbingan dalam mengembangkan kepribadian siswa. Namun, problematika di Sekolah adalah guru Bimbingan Konseling tidak diberdayakan dengan baik. Hal ini terlihat dari pelaksanaan bimbingan yang tidak sesuai jadwal dan kurangnya adanya program peningkatan profesionalitas guru Bimbingan Konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor dibalik problematika pemberdayaan guru bimbingan konseling di Sekolah. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pemberdayaan guru bimbingan konseling berjalan kurang efektif mulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Faktor penyebab diantaranya adalah karena kurangnya fasilitas dan anggaran, terbatasnya waktu bimbingan, kepala sekolah dan komite sekolah kurang memahami peran dan tugasnya dalam mendukung program peningkatan profesionalitas guru Bimbingan Konseling. Masalah tersebut dapat diatasi melalui kebijakan dan manajemen yang dilakukan Kepala Sekolah serta dukungan dari berbagai pihak.

Abstract

Training effectiveness is one of the determinant factor that could improve employees’ job performance. When we found in a government district office at Jambi Province where the organization had provided many training program to the employees but it had not had significant impact on their employees’ job performance. We realized that we need to study the factors which assumed to have relationship with the training effectiveness. Prior research in training effectiveness found that employees perceived toward the training program designed by organization and individual employees’ emotional intelligence had influence the training effectiveness. Based on those findings we formulated the aim of this study that is to investigate the relationship between the training program and employees’ emotional intelligence with the training effectiveness. This study designed as a quantitative research used sample of 209 employees derived by random sampling from its population. This study utilized questionnaires as instruments to collect empirical data. The correlational analysis technique used to analyze the data. This study had generated findings that there were strong relationship between the training program and employees’ emotional intelligence with training effectiveness.

Abstract

Lubuk Larangan is an area for the protection and conservation of fishery resources in a village area where the utilization regulation is based on the interests of the village by taking into account the principles of benefits, fairness, efficiency and sustainable sustainability. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Lubuk Ban village of Muara Cuban from five perspectives. This research method isusing a type of literature review research by looking for theoretical references that are relevant to the cases or problems found. Communities have their own ways and provisions in managing lubukban which are adapted to the customary rules and culture of the local community. It is very important for traditional communities to be involved in the conservation of aquatic resources. Traditional wisdom is one of the cultural heritages that exist in the community (traditional) and has been passed down from generation to generation by the community concerned. Forbidden pitDatuk Rajo Temanggung this is a togetherness event as well as an event to maintain friendship so that it is always good among the people of Muara Cuban Village, mthey met in this lubuk ban harvesting event, sosocial interaction takes place in the form of communication, cooperation, and helping each other which makes them closer regardless of social status. In accordance with a mutual agreement with the community, Lubuk Larangan is harvested simultaneously in 6 lubuks (Lubuk Mentaun, Lubuk Palipe Telun Segatal, Lubuk Telun Beringin, Lubuk Mendapo, Lubuk Betung, Lubuk Aro). Then the community can participate in the harvesting process. Catching fish with simple tools such as fishing rods, fish traps, gitang, pukek and jalo.
