Abstract

In the world of aviation, there are many aspects that support the occurrence of a safe and smooth flight to be able to connect trips between islands and even continents. When talking about flight, of course, what comes to our mind is a plane that airs regularly in the air, but to pass it through it regularly requires a guide which ensures flight activities in a smooth and safe condition. An air traffic controller or air traffic controller (ATC) is a person who ensures and guides the aircraft while it is on the ground or it is in the airborne, the ATC is also tasked with providing information needed by the pilot, such as weather information, flight navigation, and air traffic. And guide the pilot to raise, lower, or turn the plane. ATC must be ready to guide the aircraft even in hot or rainy weather. Rainy weather conditions can greatly affect flight activities, this is caused by runways that are the main thing in an airport. The runway is used for taking off and landing an aircraft. If it rains, the runway conditions will be wet and when the runway is wet, there is a high risk of aircraft activities, especially if there is standing water on the runway. which is currently not available at El Tari airport, Kupang. The tool is used to provide information about water levels on the runway.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether additional local flight exercise is required in the practical subject of Approach and Area Control Diploma III Air Traffic (D-III LLU) at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic. This study involved a sample of 10 lecturers and 47 cadets of LLU D-III by using 4 (four) data collection techniques, namely: observation, survey, interview, and questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are: (1) In the practical course of Approach and Area Control, there is no traffic in the form of local flights because they are not listed in the curriculum given; (2) Lecturers and cadets hope that there will be additional local flight exercises in the Approach and Area Control practical course in order to add insight and equip Taruna / i to real conditions in the field; and (3) the addition of local flight exercises in the Approach and Area Control practical course in the Air Traffic D-III Study Program needs to be followed up with curriculum standardization.

Abstract

Higher education as a form of education unit that provides academic and or professional knowledge must be able to provide services and produce quality outputs through strategic programs. Graduates are expected to be able to overcome the problems above. Many factors can affect the quality of higher education such as lecturers, infrastructure, curriculum and teaching and learning processes, as well as the assessment system. Likewise, the parameters of the quality of education, both in terms of input, process, product, and outcome always change from time to time. The purpose of this study is to find out what inputs, transformations, outputs and outcomes are from the results of implementing the curriculum in the Air Traffic Management study program. The method of collecting data is through interviews in the form of direct questions and answers to informants representing alumni and lecturers and with observations which are then followed by data analysis so that the data will be more focused on predetermined problems. The technique used in analyzing for this research is descriptive qualitative.

Abstract

An Air Traffic Controller professionalism is required in the context of efforts to provide Air Traffic Services in order to create the Five Objectives of Air Traffic Service that affect the parameters of a standard of transport services. The problems underlying the need for certainly the very facility that is in control towers in accordance with ICAO document. The purpose of this final task is to understand how the standard tower control room facilities at Hang Nadim Airport Batam in order to improve the quality of Air Traffic Services. Behind the success of the aviation world, especially in the Hang Nadim airport Batam is inseparable from the important role of aviation-related units one of which is a wizard Air Traffic Controller (ATC). ATC has a responsibility in the provision of Air Traffic Services as outlined in the Five Objectives of Air Traffic Service. Behind the success of ATC in the provision of air traffic services can not be separated from the facilities that support their work performance, especially in space where ATC Control Tower provides Air Traffic Services. Batam's Hang Nadim Airport has great potential to become an airport that could benefit Indonesia in the world of aviation. However, it is hampered by the lack of wind facilities in the display space control tower as the air traffic service requirements as listed in Annex 11 ATS chapter 7. Air Traffic Service requirements for information point 7.1.4.3 stating that ATC should provide the information contained wind conditions at the site by looking at the wind display. On this thesis research to try to conduct research on the need for improved facilities and the unavailability of the space control tower is deemed not a standard by the applicable ICAO documents. Abstract

Pengelolaan Bandara Abdulrachman Saleh Malang sampai saat ini masih dikelola oleh pihak TNI Angkatan Udara yangdimanfaatkan secara bersama oleh Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Timur untuk penerbangan komersial. terletak di tengah kotayang merupakan kota terbesar kedua di Jawa Timur, yaitu Kota Malang. Oleh karena itu, Bandara militer (Enclave Civil),ni sangat potensial untuk digunakan dan dimanfaatkan semua potensinya untuk penerbangan komersial yang terencanadan berkelanjutan. seiring dengan perkembangan penerbangan di Indonesia dan semakin ramainya pelaku bisnis di duniapenerbangan yang ditandai dengan bermunculannya perusahaan penerbangan baru, serta permintaan pembukaan rutepenerbangan yang baru baik domestik dan internasional sehingga perlu sekali bandara Abdulrachman Saleh Malangditingkatkan menjadi Bandara kelas I. Kondisi sekarang hanya penerbangan Domestik, dalam rangka peningkatanmenjadi bandar udara kelas I diperlukan penambahan sarana, prasarana dan Sumber Daya Manusia khususnya diperlukanpeningkatan manajemen keamanan (x) terhadap kinerja Avition Security (Y) Bandara Abdulrachman Saleh. Hasilperhitungan menunjukkan hubungan yang positif dan signifikan manajemen keamanan (x) dengan kinerja AvitionSecurity (Y). Implikasi bagi penyelenggara bandar udara terlaksana sesuai kinerja Avition Security menjadi bandar udaraaman, lancar, tertib, dan selamat dalam suatu penerbangan.

Abstract

Proyektor adalah salah satu media pembelajaran di kampus Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya yang digunakan untuk menampilkan materi pembelajaran. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah untuk menjadikan media proyektor yang sudah ada dapat terkoneksi secara lebih mudah sebagai sarana penunjang media pembelajaran. Rancangan ini dibuat dengan menggantikan fungsi kabel sebagai penghubung antara end device ke proyektor menjadi secara wireless. Perangkat ini menggunakan Raspberry Pi sebagai akses poin dan sebagai command-processing. Diperlukan software VNC Viewer untuk dapat mengakses Raspberry sehingga dapat bekerja secara remote dari PC Client. Kelebihan teknologi ini adalah mengeliminasi penggunaan kabel, yang dapat mengganggu secara estetika, dan juga kerumitan instalasi untuk menghubungkan lebih dari 2 pengguna saat bersamaan. Tujuan akhir yang dicapai adalah proses proyeksi dapat dilakukan secara otomatis pada semua device dan diakses oleh siapapun dalam ruangan tanpa menggunakan kabel sehingga menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran taruna Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya.

Abstract

Kebisingan adalah suara yang tidak di inginkan yang dapat bersumber dari pesawat, alat – alat proses produksi atau alat kerja yang pada tingkat tertentu dapat menimbulkan gangguan pendengaran. Kebisingan selain dapat menyebabkan gangguan pendengaran juga dapat menyebabkan gangguan non-auditory pada tenaga kerja. Kebisingan yang terjadi secara terus-menerus dapat menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan dan ketidaknyamanan dalam bekerja. Kebisingan yang terjadi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja personil ATC karna intensitas kebisingan tersebut jauh melebihi rekomendasi yang telah ditentukan yaitu 55 Db. Tetapi kebisingan yang terjadi di dalam ruang APP rata – rata antara 55 Db hingga 59 Db. Oleh karena itu proses untuk mengurangi kebisingan dalam ruangan kabin tower sangat diperlukan. Ruangan kerja yang kedap akan kebisingan diharapkan bisa meningkatkan kinerja serta kosentrasi petugas ATC dalam memberikan pelayanan lalu lintas penerbangan sehingga personil ATC merasa nyaman dan tidak terganggu karna adanya suara bising yang berasal dari dalam dan luar ruangan APP Kendari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah deskriptif kuantitatif.Metode deskriptif menekankan pada deskripsi secara alami dan apa adanya, maka dengan sifatnya ini dituntut keterlibatan secara langsung di lapangan dalam melakukan pengamatan. Sementara penelitian penelitian kuantitatif adalah penelitian dengan memperoleh data yang berbentuk angka. Sementara metode pengumpulan data yang penulis lakukan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner, serta menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa skala likert.

Abstract

This study seeks to identify the personality competencies possessed by aviation polytechnic educators in an effort to foster cadet excellence. This study is qualitative with a case study design and uses three data collection methods: in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. The subjects of the study were educators from the Medan Aviation Polytechnic who were selected using a technique of purposive sampling. These are the findings of this study: Educators participate in self-improvement trainings in order to increase their contribution to cadet excellence. The personality competencies of educators are also reflected in the openness with which they carry out their respective responsibilities and duties. Educators' self-discipline in addressing problems related to their primary responsibilities demonstrates their personality competence in order to foster cadet excellence.

Abstract

The significant changes in the international stage have raised new challenges for the aviation world. In order to cope with these challenges, the aviaton sector has been encouraged to apply innovation, both in its products and services. This article then aims to explain some factors that are influencing innovation in the aviation sector. The method used in this article is qualitative research method by focusing on the literature review. Therefore, the authors are focusing to analyze the secondary data to gain answers to research’s problems. The result shows that there are three factors influencing innovation in the aviation sector, namely human resource capability, technology advancement, and clear energy prominence. These three factors have a positive influence, so they can encourage the aviation sector to keep innovating.
