Abstract

Procrastination is the irrational delay (Steel, 2007). Behavior delays can be measured through attitude scale. Irrational Procrastination Scale (IPS) is a scale that measures of procrastination. IPS empirically measure Irrational Delay, but there are two aspects of the Indonesian version. Procrastinatory cognitions Inventory (PCI) is a scale that measures aspects of procrastination Iratinal Belief. PCI and IPS have the same irrational aspects, namely, the common factor for these two scales were restructured as new prokrastiasi scale better quality. The study was conducted in two phases. The first phase, aimed to develop a new scale. The second phase aims to test the reliability and validity. Phase preparation using 199 participants from social networks, while testing phase aimed at 33 participants were students of psychology faculty. Common factors of the preparation phase produces a new scale called procrastination Union Scale (UPS). UPS correlation figure is higher than the correlation PCI and IPS. Conceptually, UPS is correlated with aspects of TMT Expectancy (E), Value (V), Impulsifity (I).

Abstract

Airport is a vital subsystem in the air transport system which has an important and strategic role in smoothening air traffic, so that an airport must be designed to be always ready in all situations and conditions to serve airline flights securely, orderly, smoothly, and quickly. The frequent delay faced by Indonesian domestic scheduled airlines is not fully caused by internal factor of the companies. Instead, it can be caused by the airport factor. The problems faced by airports in Indonesia which have impacts on the performance of flight punctuality among other things are capacity, slot time, quality of flight navigation devices, accessibility, professionalism of airport and ATC human resources, infrastructure, facilities, equipment, and the human resources handling security and safety of flights in airport. This article recommends that an in-depth study should be carried out to map the interrelations between the airport factor in the flight delay related to facilities integration and the airport authority in the flight activities in Indonesia. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis deregulasi penerbangan dan kinerja perusahaan penerbangan niaga berjadwal. Sampel yang terjangkau adalah penerbangan domestik sebanyak 17 perusahaan. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif analitis. Deregulasi mendorong kemunculan perusahaan penerbangan baru berbiaya rendah. Sampai dengan 2012 pangsa pasar penumpang dalam negeri secara umum sebanyak 78% dikuasai oleh perusahaan penerbangan berbiaya rendah. Garuda Indonesia yang memiliki izin operasi terbang sebagai perusahaan penerbangan dengan layanan penuh hanya mendapatkan pangsa pasar sebesar 22%. Disimpulkan bahwa kecenderungan penumpang dalam negeri sebanyak 78% adalah memilih penerbangan yang berbiaya rendah. Kata kunci: deregulasi, perusahaan penerbangan niaga, kinerja, penerbangan

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan pada PT. Garuda Indonesia khususnya pada kantor penjualan cabang Emporium Pluit Mall Jakarta periode Maret sampai dengan April 2012. Ada dua metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pertama metode pengumpulan data yang diambil di lapangan/survey dan metode studi literatur. Kedua, analisis data dengan menggunakan skala likert, analisa regresi, analisa koefisien determinasi, dan uji hipotesis. 100 responden dilibatkan dalam studi ini dan hasilnya menunjukkan, hubungan yang kuat. Hasil uji hipotesis didapat t hitung> t tabel (8.4009 > 1.020) yang berarti H0 ditolak, H1 diterima. Artinya ada hubungan signifikan antara variabel kualitas (X) dan variabel loyalitas pelanggan (Y). Kata Kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan dan Loyalitas Pelanggan

Abstract

This research was aimed at confirming a model of perceived risk developed by Oglethorpe (1994) on cigarette product. The prime determinant variables in the model were severity of outcome and probability of outcome, with five additional variables including availability, catastrophic potential, reversibility, controllability, and dreadedness. Furthermore, perceived risk model of two groups of cigarette product consumers, light cigarette smokers and regular cigarette smokers, were put into comparison. Structural Equation Modelling was applied and assisted by AMOS 3.6 software. The results indicated that prime variable is still a determinant for perceivedrisk. Examination of proposed additional variables indicated that only availability, reversibility, and dreadedness influenced outcome of probability, while severity of outcome was only influenced by catastrophic potential. This developed model of perceived risk has high level of compatibility with the data sample. In addition, the whole variables also formed latent variable by using examination of validity (convergent and discriminant validity) and reliability (construct reliability and extracted variance). The result of this research is also in line with the previous researchs result that light cigarette smokers have lower perceived risk than regular cigarette smokers do.Keywords: structural equation modelling, perceived risk, regular cigarette smokers, light cigarrette smokers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the aviation deregulation and performance of the scheduled commercial airlines. Samples used are domestic flights of 17 companies. Using descriptive analytical research methods. Deregulation encourage the emergence of new low-cost airline. Up to 2012 the share of the domestic passenger market in general is as much as 78% controlled by low-cost airline companies. Garuda Indonesia, which has the operating license to fly as a full service airline only gain a market share of 22%. It is concluded that the trend of domestic passengers as much as 78% are choosing low cost airlines.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the evaluation of flight route policies, through program effectiveness, program adequacy, program distribution program that is enjoyed by all the aviation stakeholder and responsiveness and to recommend design improvement (roadmap) on flight route policies in accordance to the ASEAN Open Sky policy for the national carriers to be competitive. Research methods used are qualitative description with USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) approach or Issue Priority Matrix, investigation result on the flight path policies evaluation. The research used purposive sampling technique to determine the informant. The study result provides an overview of the preparation of improvement actions based on program evaluation through the establishment of medium term roadmap which consists; a) Grand Design disposition that regulate Indonesian airspace as state asset that has strategic value, b) Development of route connectivity functions, where national carrier must develop Global Distribution System functions. These GDS functions must be enhanced to provide support for assisting the airlines distribution process, simplifying airlines ticket booking, and minimalizing investment cost. c) Assessment of all Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (CASR) associated with Air Traffic Management (ATM), as well as d) developing e-business functionality that provides support for services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of rider discipline, motor condition and road, on traffic safety. This research is a quantitative research using path analysis method. The population of this study were 42,625 riders of KS Tubun and Tajur roads. The sample is 684 riders with sample technique using incidental sampling. The results showthat traffic safety (X3) is strongly influenced by motorist discipline (X1) and Motor and Road conditions (X2). Safety in traffic will increase if the means of traffic infrastructure,Motor and Road conditions are function properly asthe vehicle equipments, traffic signs,markers, road user safety equipment, road conditions, and other traffic support facilities
