Abstract

Target strategi sanitasi (SSK) Kota Banjarmasin tahun 2014-2019 agar praktek buang air besar sembarangan (BABs) diturunkan sampai 0% pada tahun 2019. Kelurahan Kelayan Tengah merupakan salah satu kelurahan di Kota Banjarmasin yang dikategorikan sebagai zona resiko sanitasi yang tinggi berdasarkan jumlah cakupan jamban per keluarga dan tingkat BABs. Kelurahan Kelayan Tengah dekat dengan sungai Kelayan, hal ini menyebabkan masyarakat masih banyak yang melakukan praktek BABs. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pencapaian target stop BABs dengan sistem penyaluran air limbah (SPAL) menggunakan sistem terpusat dan instalasi pengolahan air limbah (IPAL) Komunal. Penelitian dilakukan dengan kajian literatur terkait penelitian, survei lapangan, analisis data kuesioner, dan perencanaan SPAL di RT 14,15,20 dan 21. Kuesioner sebanyak 75 responden, berdasarkan dari rumah yang belum memiliki jamban. Aspek yang dianalisa meliputi aspek teknis dan sosial. Untuk pencapaian target stop buang air besar sembarangan dilakukan kegiatan pemicuan, merencanakan SPAL dan IPAL komunal dengan menggunakan anaerobic baffle reactor (ABR), didesain untuk 150 sambungan rumah.Lokasi penempatan IPAL di SD Kelayan Tengah 2.  Kata kunci: Sanitasi, BABs, SPAL, IPAL. Target of strategy sanitation Banjarmasin city 2014 to 2019 is that the practice of open defecation free (ODF) reduced to 0 % at 2019. Kelayan Tengah village is one of village in Banjarmasin city categorized as a high risk of sanitary zone based on total toilet of family and ODF level. Kelayan Tengah village located near with kelayan river, This causes the society practice of ODF. This study aims to assess ODF with applying off-site sanitation system of sewerage system and communal waste water treatment plant (WWTP). This study was commenced by reviewing relavan literatures, conducting field survey, analysis data of questionnaire, and design of sewerage system and WWTP in the neighborhood association  (rukun tetangga/RT) 14, 15, 20, and 21. Questionnaire was fulfilled by 75 respondents whose houses do not have toilet. The analysis included the assessment of technical aspect, and sosial aspect. Endeavors toward ODF with an effort to disseminate, establishment of sewerage system, and communal WWTP used anaerobic baffle reactor (ABR), sewerage system covers 150 house connections. Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah salah satu penerapan keilmuan dari praktisi lingkungan. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah masih minimnya pengaplikasian permodelan kualitas udara menggunakan software AERMOD. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengenalkan perangkat lunak AERMOD kepada Praktisi Lingkungan dan memprediksi pola sebaran emisi Di udara dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak AERMOD. Metode Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini berupa pelatihan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan simulasi serta pemberian simulasi menggunakan software AERMOD dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guna membekali ilmu berupa soft skill permodelan lingkungan yang dapat menunjang kemampuan Praktisi Lingkungan sehingga bisa bersaing di dunia kerja.

Abstract

Biopores are holes in the soil formed as a result of organism activity to increase water absorption, reduce the risk of runoff, and preserve the environment. Making biopore infiltration holes is advantageous because it is practical, economical, and environmentally friendly. This community service activity aims to provide educational counseling and technical training to civitas of SDN 2 Sungai Besar Banjarbaru through the installation of biopore infiltration holes to prevent and overcome run off particularly during the rainy season. This community service activity follows a three-stage methodology: survey and observation, socialization and technical training, and practice creating biopore infiltration holes. Based on the outcomes of the activities, participation and collaboration with the residents went well and cooperatively, and the application of biopore infiltration holes was made in two locations throughout the garden. Thus, this community service activity benefited and was shared with the civitas of SDN 2 Sungai Besar Banjarbaru, particularly in terms of knowledge and skill transfer through the creation of biopore infiltration holes to prevent and overcome run off independently and sustainably.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Indonesia merupakan negara yang kaya akan batubara. Sangat mungkin pulau terbesar di Indonesia ini terletak di pulau Kalimantan, khususnya di Kalimantan Selatan. Salah satu akibat yang disayangkan dari sistem penambangan adalah usia limbah cair dari latihan penambangan, misalnya drainase tambang yang korosif. Tentu saja, peristiwa rembesan tambang yang korosif tidak dapat diabaikan karena sangat mempengaruhi pemeliharaan iklim dan lingkungan. wilayah lokal yang melingkupinya, baik secara langsung maupun tersirat. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan asosiasi dalam menangani sampah adalah dengan penanganannya di danau pengendapan. Penelitian ini berencana untuk menentukan atribut jenis limbah cair dan dosis koagulan serta pengaruh pH terhadap penurunan padatan tersuspensi lengkap dengan menggunakan strategi reaksi permukaan. Strategi yang digunakan adalah penelitian yang benar-benar eksploratif. Untuk memecah penurunan semua padatan tersuspensi, tes kontainer selesai yang baru-baru ini mendapatkan 13 tes dengan rencana dasar menggunakan Central Composite Design (CCD). Dalam penelitian ini diketahui bahwa air tersebut tidak bersifat asam karena kandungan belerang dalam kotorannya rendah dengan variabel pH tidak menunjukkan hubungan lurus atau kuadrat dan porsi yang ideal adalah 15 ppm dengan pH 7 untuk mencapai penurunan kuat tersuspensi sempurna yang ideal.Kata Kunci:  Air asam tambang, Koagulan, Total suspended solid. ABSTRACTCoal mining is far and wide in Indonesia. One of the biggest is situated on the island of Borneo,particularly South Kalimantan. One of the adverse consequences of the mining system is the age of fluid waste from mining exercises like corrosive mine seepage. The development of corrosive mine seepage surely can't be disregarded in light of the fact that it generally affects natural maintainability and for the encompassing local area, either straightforwardly or by implication. One of the endeavors is to oversee and deal with the loss in the settling lake. This study plans to decide the qualities of wastewater and coagulant measurements varieties as well as the impact of pH on  the decrease  of  complete suspended  solids  utilizing  the surface reaction  strategy.  The strategy utilized is truly trial research. To dissect the lessening altogether suspended solids, a container test was done which recently got 13 tests with the underlying plan utilizing the Central Composite Design (CCD). Abstract

Steady promotion on water, sanitation, and hygiene to achieve the target of Universal Access 2019 becomes a priority of Ambon local government. Various programs have been executed including the construction of public toilet and and communal waste water treatment plant (WWTP). Despite these efforts, open defecation is frequently practiced particularly in remote areas. Inquiries on the areas which can be classified as the most high-risk areas regarding with open defecation have been conducted which include Passo village in Teluk Ambon Bagualasub-district as one of these areas. It is presumed that 831 families (26.64%) in Passo Village are still practicing it. This study aimed to determine the social and technical aspects related to the practice of open defecation in Paso village. Data collections were conducted through observation, interview, and questionnaire. Based on the analysis, the social aspects that affect to performance of Open Defecation Free (ODF) was mainly due to the low capacity of local communities in building latrines, while their consciousness and attitude upon sanitation were poor. As for the technical aspects, water shortages became the primary factor for the absence of toilet, in addition to the limited area to construct it. Communal toilet turns out to be a resolution for this problem.

Abstract

Endeavors toward Universal Target of 2019 dealing with water and sanitation are not merely the responsibility of central and local government, since community is both the subject and object of the target achievement. One of the main obstacles in accomplishing this target is the practice of open defection in a number of areas in Indonesia. This study was aimed to assess Open Defecation Free (ODF) in the environment applying the off-site sanitation system. The study was conducted in Kelayan Tengah village, Banjarmasin, consisting of 232 households in which 117 of them are still practicing open defecation (OD). The study was commenced by reviewing relevant literatures, conducting field survey (questionnaire and interview), and analyzing the data by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The analysis included the assessment of technical aspect, social cultural aspect, and institution aspect. Questionnaire was fulfilled by 75 respondents, while AHP involved 5 respondents. Action Plans of open defecation free in Kelayan Tengah village encompassed the establishment of Waste Water Treatment Plan (WWTP) in Elementary school of Kelayan Tengah village to design 117 house connections out of 232 house, the organization of community and public discussion with theme of proper sanitation, and the improvement of coordination of sanitation working group. Action Plans to achieve Open Defecation Free in Kelayan Tengah village, Banjarmasin encompassed the possibility of using Kelayan Tengah 2 Elementary School as the site to establish waste water treatment plant (WWTP) to provide the toilet access for 117 houses which cannot afford the appropriate ones; the effort to disseminate the importance of toilet and to organize public discussion with theme of proper sanitation; the improvement of coordination among sanitation working groups to maintain open defecation free and agencies that play a role in this issue, as well the promotion to conduct fund collaboration between public and government for the purpose of ODT.

Abstract

Genangan dapat terjadi karena daya tampung saluran alam ataupun buatan tidak lagi dapat menampung aliran air hujan yang datang. Menurut Review Masterplan Drainase Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu tahun 2015, tempat-tempat yang menjadi genangan air di Kecamatan Simpang Empat hampir semuanya berada dikawasan pemukiman warga, dengan lama waktu genangan satu atau sampai hujan berhenti dengan ketinggian ± 20 cm. Tujuan dari perencanaan ini yaitu menganalisis debit banjir rencana, mengevaluasi kapasitas saluran drainase, merekomendasikan dimensi saluran baru, merekomendasikan dimensi sumur resapan serta membuat layout dimensi baru pada catchment area perencanaan. Analisis yang dilakukan pada perencanaan ini adalah analisis hidrologi dan hidrolika dengan data hujan harian maksimum selama 10 tahun (2012 – 2021). Dari hasil perhitungan debit banjir rencana dapat disimpulkan bahwa debit minimum adalah 0,06 m3/det pada segmen 14, sedangkan debit maksimum adalah 0,20 m3/det pada segmen 12. Pada perencanaan ini menggunakan software Storm Water Managemen Model (SWMM), dengan softwareSWMM, keadaan yang terjadi di lapangan dapat disimulasikan dengan memasukkan parameter yang tertera pada kondisi sesungguhnya. Perbaikan saluran drainase dengan perencanaan ulang dimensi saluran, direkomendasikan untuk segmen 14 yaitu lebar 0,52 m, tinggi 0,62 m sedangkan untuk segmen 12 yaitu lebar 0,81 m dan tinggi 0,86 m.Kata Kunci: Debit Banjir, Drainase, Evaluasi, Genangan, SWMM.

Abstract

Sungai Cantung merupakan salah satu sungai yang mengalir di Kabupaten Kotabaru dengan luas DAS sebesar 112,694 ha. Kajian dilakukan untuk menganalisis status kualitas air Sungai Cantung agar dapat mengetahui kondisi dan tingkat status mutu airnya sehingga dapat mengambil kebijakan pengelolaan dan pengendalian pencemaran dengan tepat. Penelitian dilakukan pada saat musim hujan. Nilai status mutu air dianalisis dengan Metode Indeks Pencemaran (IP) yang perhitungannya mengacu pada KepMen LH No. 115 Tahun 2003 tentang Pedoman Penentuan Status Mutu Air. Berdasarkan perhitungan indeks pencemaran (IP) menunjukkan Sungai Cantung pada C2 kawasan pemukiman dalam kondisi baik, dan 9 titik sampling termasuk kategori cemar ringan berdasarkan Baku Mutu PP Nomor 22 Tahun 2021 Tentang Penyelenggaraan Perlindungan dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup peruntukan air sungai dan sejenisnya kelas II, untuk nilai Indeks Pencemaran (IP) terendah sebesar 0,74 dan tertinggi sebesar 2,53.  Kata kunci: Indeks Pencemaran (IP), Status Mutu Air, Sungai Cantung
