Abstract

The purpose of the research is to see how the impact of housing development on the socio-economic conditions of people in Kandangan town, Hulu Sungai Selatan regency.Data were collected by using questionnaire method on 91 respondents by using purposive sampling method.               Result of research based on social condition of society indicate Social relation between residents around residential area remain harmonious, new class emergence that resident of residence does not cause jealousy from local citizen, local citizen feel that resident of housing also part of society exist because they willing to follow norm together. While the impact on the community economy indicates the influence of housing development on the livelihood of the citizens is significant, many residents who changed the profession to be workers in housing, such as a night watchman, a small trader, a housekeeper or a security guard. residents also feel that finding a work field becomes easier after housing. The cost of living tends to be the same without increasing.Keywords : impact of socio-economic condition of people, impact of housing developement

Abstract

This research was conducted to know and describe : (1) The influences of  Population, Labor, Unemployment, and GDP on Economic Growth in Banjar Regency (2) The most dominant variable affecting Economic Growth in Regency Banjar. The Data was processed by using multiple linear regression analyses with the help of SPSS software version 16. This research showed that the Population, Unemployment, and GDP variable was affecting Economic Growth in Banjar Regency. Population, Labor, Unemployment, and GDP simultaneously influence Economic Growth. In Banjar Regency, and Population Variable was the most dominant influence on Economic Growth in Banjar Regency.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the village Pejala Pagatan, Kusan Hilir Subdistrict, Tanah Bumbu District with the aim of knowing (1) to find out whether the experience, operational costs, and catch results factors together affect the income of Purse Seine fishermen in the village Pejala Pagatan, Kusan Hilir Subdistrict, Tanah Bumbu District ; (2) to find out what factors most influence the income of Purse Seine fishermen in the village Pejala Pagatan, Kusan Hilir Subdistrict, Tanah Bumbu District. Respondents in this study were 20 fishermen in the village of Purse Seine fishermen in the village Pejala Pagatan, Kusan Hilir Subdistrict, Tanah Bumbu District. Data is processed using multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing and classical assimilation tests.The results showed that jointly the experience, operational costs and Catches effect on income of purse seine fishermen in the village of Purse Seine fishermen in the village Pejala Pagatan, Kusan Hilir Subdistrict, Tanah Bumbu District. The Catches variable (X3) is the factor that most influences the income of the village of Purse Seine fishermen in the village Pejala Pagatan, Kusan Hilir Subdistrict, Tanah Bumbu District.Keywords : Experience, Operational Costs, and Catches.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the willingness to pay (WTP) users of Banjarbakula Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) services (2) determine the effect of education, income, and number of family members on the WTP value of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) respondents Banjarbakula.This type of research is quantitative research with the method used that is using the Stated Preference method and multiple linear regression analysis. The variables used are education, income, and number of family members. The data used are primary data taken from the source, namely Banjarbakula BRT users and the Transportation Office of South Kalimantan Province.The results showed the average willingness to pay respondents amounted to Rp 5,720. If there is an increase in quality, the average willingness to pay the respondent becomes Rp10,180. The factors of education, income and number of family members together affect the WTP value of users of Banjarbakula BRT services.Keywords: Education, Income, Number of Family Members, WTP BRT Banjarbakula

Abstract

Fisheries potential contained in Hulu Sungai Utara District into its own record in an attempt to boost a greater role in the economy Hulu Sungai Utara District. Besides this, the human recources to move the fishery sector has prospect for development. Because the fishery potential is very large and is supported by natural resources is great but the production of the fisheries sector is still relatively small so to the need for policies that can encourage to increase fish production in particular subsector of aquaculture in Hulu Sungai Utara and indirectly will improve people’s welfare especially fish farmers.        This study aims to determains what factors are some influence on farmers’ income fish pond, method of this study is research that is descriftive quantitative research object income of farmers in HaurGading Village research object income of farmers in HaurGading Village using this type of primary data obtained from interviews of all fish farmers fish pond with a population of 32 respondents and secondary data obtained from the relevant agencies.       The result showed that the factors of land, feed, seed and drugs affect concurrently or simultaneislyti the farmers income fish pond, and there are factors of land and seeds that are partially significant effect on the income of farmers fish pond in HaurGading District.Keyword: Fish, Pond, Economy

Abstract

AbstractThe objectives in this study are (1) to determine the effect of population on GRDP in Banjarmasin City; (2) to assess the impact of labor on GRDP in the city of Banjarmasin; (3) to determine the effect of the ratio of dependents to GRDP in the town of Banjarmasin; (4) to assess the impact of sex ratio on GRDP in Banjarmasin City; (5) To find out the simultaneous influence of population, labor, dependency ratio, and sex ratio to GRDP in Banjarmasin City. And this research is expected to provide understanding to local governments, private parties, and community institutions with interest in economic development in the city of Banjarmasin through the GRDP and an overview of their population. This research can be a reference in the preparation of local government policies for economic development in Banjarmasin. This research method uses data collection methods by taking data from the central static and related agencies. After that, multiple linear regression analysis is performed to see the effect of independent variables on the dependent. The software used for regression analysis is Eviews. This study's research indicates that the population is having a significant impact and has a positive influence on the GRDP of the City of Banjarmasin; the workforce and the ratio of dependents do not substantially affect the GRDP of the City of Banjarmasin. While the sex ratio has a significant influence and is negatively related to GRDP.

Abstract

his research aims are, (1) to know poverty potrait based on household poor charateristic in Banjarmasin city, (2) to know relation of poor status with occupation in Banjarmasin city, (3) to know dominant characteristics differentiator poor household and unpoor households in Banjarmasin city.The responden research are 100 households lived in Banjarmasin city. Technical analysis used descriptive statistics and CHAID analysis. The result research show that characteristics of poor households are differents with indicator percentage 22%, the relation between poverty status with occupation status households are strongest and generally the dominant indicator to different poor households with unpoor households are the households can not paying to medicince service on policlinic/hospital, not have saving or goods to sale with minimum value Rp500.000, occupation with salary under Rp600.000 and never/one times week to consumtion milk. Keywords: Poverty Rate, Households Indicator

Abstract

Canny Lestari Larosa, (2018) Working Population Analysis in Banjarmasin City. Advisor: Khairi Pahlevi, S.Pi.M.Si.            This study aims to analyze the working population in the city of Banjarmasin in 2002 s.d. 2016. The independent variables in this study are wages, economic growth, inflation and education level. The dependent variable is the working population in Banjarmasin City. The research method used is quantitative method using multiple linear regression analysis.            The results showed that the variable wages, economic growth, inflation and education level simultaneously had a significant effect on the working population in the city of Banjarmasin. Partially, variables that significantly influence the working population in Banjarmasin City are wages, economic growth and education level.Keywords: Working Population, Wages, Economic Growth, Inflation, Level of Education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) To find out the scale of the business of cultivating catfish ponds in Pihaung Village, Haur Gading District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency (2) To find out the benefits or losses on the scale of the business of cultivating catfish ponds in Pihaung Village, Haur Gading District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The scope of this study took the area in Pihaung Village, Haur Gading District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The data source is secondary data and primary data obtained through interviews by filling out a questionnaire sheet that will be done by using the Cobb-Douglas production function method. The result of this study is the scale of catfish pond cultivation business in Pihaung Village, Haur Gading District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency is at the decreasing return to scale level and has a profit for one year with an average of Rp. 13,363,042.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of coal mining on the socio-economic conditions of the people of Karang Indah Village, Angsana District, Tanah Bumbu Regency. Data collection techniques include structured interviews with several respondents, as many as 91 KKthe data analysis technique using the triangulation technique. The social impact of coal mining is related to social interaction and cooperation. The negative impact of competition and conflict or dispute is also called the conflict in society itself, and society becomes individualistic. The positive impact is that public education is increasing. The economic impact that is felt is increasing the quality of human resources, increasing the economic income of the surrounding community, meeting the needs of miners, and reducing the unemployment and crime rates. Meanwhile, the negative impact that is felt is damaging the surrounding environment, damaging roads due to coal transportation by trucks, and decreasing soil fertility
