Abstract

  This study aimed to develop learning tools on business and energy materials based on project based learning models that are suitable for use in learning. This research was a development research by 4Ddevelopment model design consisting of 4 stages, namely: define; design, develop, and disseminate. This research was only up to the stage of development. Based on the results of validation by experts, the development of learning tools in this study was valid. The percentage of validity was 87.5% on the syllabus; 87.5% on the lesson plan implementation; and 82.5% on student worksheets. Based on the results, the development of learning tools in this study is feasible to use with revisions to the student worksheet because it has quite valid criteria.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan kepada para guru dalam melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), menyusun karya ilmiah, dan melakukan publikasi karya ilmiah hasil penelitian ke dalam jurnal nasional. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan PkM ini adalah para guru di SMA Negeri 1 Kopang yang berjumlah 39 orang. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan kegiatan adalah pendidikan dan pelatihan, dimana dilakukan serangkaian kegiatan in service training (IST) dan on service training (OST). Kegiatan in service training (IST) dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan andragogis yang mengedepankan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan presentasi. Hasil kegiatan IST telah meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang konsep PTK, karya tulis ilmiah, dan publikasi ilmiah. Selanjutnya, kegiatan on service training (OST) dilaksanakan pada saat guru menyusun karya ilmiah dalam bentuk artikel yang siap dipublikasi dalam jurnal nasional. Kurun waktu pelaksanaan kegiatan mulai dari persiapan sampaia dengan pelaporan adalah dalam 6 (enam) bulan. Akhirnya, melalui serangkaian kegiatan PkM yang telah terlaksana (melalui mekanisme IST dan OST), para guru yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pelatihan telah memperoleh pemahaman dan kemampuan dalam melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dan menyusun karya tulis ilmiah yang siap dipublikasi dalam jurnal nasional. Secara umum, kegiatan PkM telah berjalan dengan lancar dengan terpenuhinya target tujuan yang diharapkan dalam kegiatan PkM ini. Classroom Action Research and Scientific Writing Training for Teachers Abstract This community service activity (PkM) aims to provide training to teachers in carrying out classroom action research (CAR/PTK), compiling scientific papers, and publishing scientific research results in national journals. The participants involved in this PkM activity were the 39 teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Kopang. The method used to achieve the objectives of the activity is education and training, where a series of in-service training (IST) and on-service training (OST) activities are carried out. In service training (IST) activities are carried out using an andragogic approach that prioritizes lecture, discussion, and presentation methods. The results of IST activities have increased teachers' understanding of the concept of PTK, scientific papers, and scientific publications. Furthermore, on service training (OST) activities are carried out when the teacher composes scientific papers in the form of articles that are ready to be published in national journals. The period of implementation of activities starting from preparation to reporting is 6 (six) months. Finally, through a series of PkM activities that have been carried out (through the IST and OST mechanisms), the teachers involved in the training activities have gained understanding and ability in carrying out classroom action research, and compiling scientific papers that are ready to be published in national journals. In general, PkM activities have been running smoothly with the fulfillment of the goals expected in this PkM activity.

Abstract

Digital teaching materials are one of the alternative solutions in the learning process in the era of digitalization 4.0. One of the digital teaching materials that can be developed in digital form is student worksheet. In addition to digital teaching materials, the selection and use of learning models is also important in supporting the learning process in schools. One of the learning models that can be used is the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model. This study aims to describe the feasibility of PBL-based sound wave electronic student worksheet digital teaching materials using the Liveworksheet application for high school students. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The test subjects were students of class XI MIPA PC (Prima Cendekia) Senior High School of 3 Mataram. Data collection techniques through observation and distribution of questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed that the PBL-based sound wave electronic student worksheet that had been developed obtained an assessment score from expert validation of 0.86 (very valid) with 90.6% reliability (reliable) and practitioner validation of 0.83 (very valid) with 95.55% reliability (reliable). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PBL-based sound wave electronic student worksheet is proven valid so that it is suitable for use in the learning process in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of PhET simulation-assisted guided inquiry learning model on students' critical thinking skills in Elasticity material. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Pringgabaya. The sample of this study was class XI H and class XI I, totaling 63 students, while the sampling technique was cluster random sampling method. The sample used in this study was class XI I (experimental class, totaling 32 people) and class XI H (control class, totaling 31 people). Before given the treatment, both classes were given an initial test to determine their initial ability. Based on the results of the initial test homogeneity test, the two samples had the same initial ability. The final test results for students' critical thinking skills obtained an average score of 79.45 with the highest score of 95 for the experimental class and an average of 74.27 with the highest score of 90 for the control class. The research hypothesis was tested with parametric statistical tests in the form of independent t-test variance. Such decision was taken on the basis of the testing. That is, the Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.028 is smaller than the significance level (α) of 0.05, and hence (H0) is rejected and (H1) is accepted. Thus, it can be interpreted that PhET simulation-assisted guided inquiry learning model has an effect on students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive study aims to determine the implementation of scientific educational game tools for early childhood in West Nusa Tenggara. Samples were taken using a simple random method from 3 districts in West Nusa Tenggara, which are North Lombok, East Lombok, and West Sumbawa. Data were collected using a questionnaire form. The research data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research illustrate the implementation of scientific educational game tools for early childhood in the West Nusa Tenggara province. Based on the data obtained, as many as 14 scientific educational game tools have been found and are suitable for science learning in early childhood. There are 11 types of indoor scientific educational game tools that can be used to stimulate science learning in early childhood and as many as 3 types of outdoor scientific educational game tools that can be used to stimulate science learning in early childhood. The implementation of scientific educational game tools that are in accordance with the science concept is only 28% and was categorized as low. This shows that the teacher's understanding and competency in teaching science with the help of scientific educational game tools is still limited

Abstract

Science concepts comprehension is a foundation that allows students to create thinking constructions to another related concept or more complex concepts, facts, laws, principles, and theories in science. Understanding the concept of science is one of the important things required by early childhood education pre-service teachers as professional and competent educators in their fields. This research is an ex-post-facto research, with the aim of analyzing science concepts comprehension based on science process skills of the early childhood education pre-service teachers, especially on the subjects of the diversity of living things and environmental pollution. The subjects in this study were early childhood education students in semester VI of the 2021/2022 academic year. Analysis of science concept comprehension was carried out using the Certainty of Response Index (CRI) method. The results showed: 1) The Comprehension of Science concepts of early childhood education pre-service teachers with the criteria of understanding the concept (PK) is at 81.75%, not understanding the concept (TPK) at 4,90%, and misconceptions (M) at 13.34%; 2) The comprehension of science concept of early childhood education pre-service teachers based on high category science process skills are better than the science concept comprehension of early childhood education pre-service teachers with low category science process skills. The data obtained confirm that the comprehension of science concepts in early childhood education pre-service teachers is high. The comprehension of science concepts that owned by early childhood education pre-service teachers is directly proportional to their science process skills, the higher the science process skills of early childhood education pre-service teachers, the higher their science concepts comprehension.

Abstract

This research aims to improve problem solving skills through E-Modules by Flip PDF Professional based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) integrated with local wisdom. The type of research is development research. The development procedure carried out refers to the 4D model development steps, namely define, design, develop, disseminate. The E-module used in the learning was developed with the flip PDF Professional application which integrated local wisdom called peraq api from Lombok, NTB. The test subjects in this research were 27 students in 7th grade at SMPN 11 Mataram. Data on students' problem solving abilities was obtained using a description (essay) test instrument with 5 questions (pre-test and pst-test). The increase in problem solving skills is calculated using the N-gain percentage formula. The research results showed that the N-gain percentage value was 63.85% in the medium category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that learning with E-Modules by Flip PDF Professional Based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) Integrated with Local Wisdom is able to improve the problem solving abilities of students in this research

Abstract

Community service carried out by the service team chose schools as targets for implementing activities. School selection is carried out through initial observations to find out the problems and appropriate solutions. This service activity takes the form of training in preparing Classroom Action Research (CAR). The activities carried out were not only limited to training, but the service team also provided assistance to Attohiriyah Bodak High School teachers, especially natural science subject teachers, namely physics, chemistry and biology teachers. The benchmark for the success of this activity is the participant's response and the follow-up provided after the training. Responses from teachers participating in training and mentoring. Most of them gave positive responses and stated that this activity was very useful for teachers in carrying out or creating scientific work
