Abstract

Abstract

At this time in the educational environment there have been many worrying behaviors and acts of violence. One of the most frequent acts of violence is bullying behavior. The prevalence of bullying behavior that has increased from year to year has caused damage or adverse impacts for both the perpetrator and the victim. This study aims to describe bullying among students and actions to minimize it on the island of Lombok, which consists of Mataram City, West Lombok Regency, Central Lomok, East Lombok and North Lombok. The subjects of this study were the principal, class teacher, class students, BK teachers, and parents of students. Data collection techniques used documentation studies, questionnaires, observation sheets, and interview techniques. The data analysis technique uses three activity lines, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and uses data validity tests using data triangulation tests. The results showed that some students had been involved in bullying behavior. Of the three forms of bullying behavior, the verbal form is the most common bullying behavior in schools. In this study it was also found that the three aspects of bullying behavior, namely, carried out intentionally with or without a specific purpose, there is an element to hurt the victim, there is an imbalance of power and/or strength between the perpetrator and the victim of bullying, and it occurs repeatedly which is fulfilled. Efforts to minimize bullying is by planting character education which must be implemented in the learning process.

Abstract

The students' environmental care attitude is still low. One of the factors that cause environmental damage is the lack of awareness of students in the importance of disposing of waste in its place and knowledge in managing waste. In addition to the problem of students' environmental care, learning in schools is also still rarely associated with learning materials with the surrounding environment (local wisdom). The research aims to develop an interactive multimedia inquiry that integrates practical and effective local wisdom to improve students' environmental care attitudes. This research is a development research using a 4D development model. The environmental care attitude questionnaire instrument was developed referring to 4 indicators, namely: maintaining class cleanliness, maintaining school cleanliness, developing empathy for all forms of life and maintaining plants at school. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire instrument. The practicality data analysis technique uses practicality percent and the effectiveness of interactive multimedia inquiry is analyzed using normalized gain. The results showed that the teacher's response to multimedia products was categorized as good because it was in accordance with learning needs by utilizing technology. Students' responses to multimedia are categorized as good because the tasks given are in accordance with the experiences of students in both the social and school environment. Based on the results of the analysis of the effectiveness test, it showed that the experimental class taught using interactive multimedia inquiry based on local wisdom obtained an increase in environmental care attitudes which was higher than the control class taught without using interactive multimedia based on local wisdom, it obtained an increase with moderate criteria. Based on this description, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia inquiry based on local wisdom is practical and effective to improve students' environmental care attitudes.

Abstract

Given the importance of globalization and the need to train students' thinking skills and broad knowledge to prepare them to face the demands of the 21st century work, education from the start needs to look more critically at educational practices and learning methods that should be directed. This study seeks to examine the effect of applying the guided inquiry model with the Self Regulated Learning approach to students' creative dispositions and creative thinking skills in high school biology learning. To achieve this goal, a sample of 70 students at one of the State Senior High Schools in Mataram, NTB. Subjects were purposively grouped into the experimental class, namely learning using the Guided Inquiry Model with the Self Regulated Learning (IT-SRL) Approach and the control class using the Ordinary Guided Inquiry (IT) model. Data on students' creative dispositions were obtained from a creative disposition questionnaire while data on students' creative thinking skills were obtained from tests of creative thinking skills which were compiled based on indicators of creative thinking skills. Hypothesis testing in this study uses. The results of the ANCOVA test showed that students who were taught using the guided inquiry model using the self-regulated learning (IT-SRL) approach had better creative dispositions and creative thinking skills than students who were taught using the inquiry method (IT).

This research aims to improve problem solving skills through E-Modules by Flip PDF Professional based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) integrated with local wisdom. The type of research is development research. The development procedure carried out refers to the 4D model development steps, namely define, design, develop, disseminate. The E-module used in the learning was developed with the flip PDF Professional application which integrated local wisdom called peraq api from Lombok, NTB. The test subjects in this research were 27 students in 7th grade at SMPN 11 Mataram. Data on students' problem solving abilities was obtained using a description (essay) test instrument with 5 questions (pre-test and pst-test). The increase in problem solving skills is calculated using the N-gain percentage formula. The research results showed that the N-gain percentage value was 63.85% in the medium category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that learning with E-Modules by Flip PDF Professional Based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) Integrated with Local Wisdom is able to improve the problem solving abilities of students in this research

Abstract

Creativity is recognized as a crucial 21st-century skill. Creativity plays a significant role in societal life, bringing forth something that did not exist before, whether it be in the form of products, processes, or ideas. Creativity is vital for navigating the limitations we encounter, solving problems across various aspects of life, and generating new opportunities or works to address a range of issues, including in the realm of education. Creative thinking is the process that yields creativity. The better someone is at creative thinking, the more creative they are as individuals. In other words, that person possesses high creativity. Involving students in designing their own experimental procedures will encourage their scientific creativity. Project-based learning requires students to conduct experiments to solve problems and complete given projects. Creative thinking from students is essential in these project endeavors. Hence, in this article, the researchers attempt to unearth the advantages inherent in project-based learning for bolstering students' creative thinking skills in science education
