Abstract

Digital teaching materials are one of the alternative solutions in the learning process in the era of digitalization 4.0. One of the digital teaching materials that can be developed in digital form is student worksheet. In addition to digital teaching materials, the selection and use of learning models is also important in supporting the learning process in schools. One of the learning models that can be used is the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model. This study aims to describe the feasibility of PBL-based sound wave electronic student worksheet digital teaching materials using the Liveworksheet application for high school students. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The test subjects were students of class XI MIPA PC (Prima Cendekia) Senior High School of 3 Mataram. Data collection techniques through observation and distribution of questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed that the PBL-based sound wave electronic student worksheet that had been developed obtained an assessment score from expert validation of 0.86 (very valid) with 90.6% reliability (reliable) and practitioner validation of 0.83 (very valid) with 95.55% reliability (reliable). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PBL-based sound wave electronic student worksheet is proven valid so that it is suitable for use in the learning process in schools.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive study aims to determine the implementation of scientific educational game tools for early childhood in West Nusa Tenggara. Samples were taken using a simple random method from 3 districts in West Nusa Tenggara, which are North Lombok, East Lombok, and West Sumbawa. Data were collected using a questionnaire form. The research data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research illustrate the implementation of scientific educational game tools for early childhood in the West Nusa Tenggara province. Based on the data obtained, as many as 14 scientific educational game tools have been found and are suitable for science learning in early childhood. There are 11 types of indoor scientific educational game tools that can be used to stimulate science learning in early childhood and as many as 3 types of outdoor scientific educational game tools that can be used to stimulate science learning in early childhood. The implementation of scientific educational game tools that are in accordance with the science concept is only 28% and was categorized as low. This shows that the teacher's understanding and competency in teaching science with the help of scientific educational game tools is still limited

Abstract

Science concepts comprehension is a foundation that allows students to create thinking constructions to another related concept or more complex concepts, facts, laws, principles, and theories in science. Understanding the concept of science is one of the important things required by early childhood education pre-service teachers as professional and competent educators in their fields. This research is an ex-post-facto research, with the aim of analyzing science concepts comprehension based on science process skills of the early childhood education pre-service teachers, especially on the subjects of the diversity of living things and environmental pollution. The subjects in this study were early childhood education students in semester VI of the 2021/2022 academic year. Analysis of science concept comprehension was carried out using the Certainty of Response Index (CRI) method. The results showed: 1) The Comprehension of Science concepts of early childhood education pre-service teachers with the criteria of understanding the concept (PK) is at 81.75%, not understanding the concept (TPK) at 4,90%, and misconceptions (M) at 13.34%; 2) The comprehension of science concept of early childhood education pre-service teachers based on high category science process skills are better than the science concept comprehension of early childhood education pre-service teachers with low category science process skills. The data obtained confirm that the comprehension of science concepts in early childhood education pre-service teachers is high. The comprehension of science concepts that owned by early childhood education pre-service teachers is directly proportional to their science process skills, the higher the science process skills of early childhood education pre-service teachers, the higher their science concepts comprehension.
