Abstract

ABSTRAKArtikel ini menunjukkan penggunaan metode proximity value index dalam menentukan prioritas resiko kerusakan mesin. Sebagai salah satu metode pengambilan multi kriteria mutakhir, metode proximity value index metode ini sangat mudah diimplementasikan dan praktis dalam penggunaannya. Studi kasus penentuan prioritas kerusakan sub bagian pembakaran pada mesin pesawat terbang. Hasil penerapan metode proximity value index menunjukkan prioritas bagian mesin mana yang perlu diprioritaskan penangan kerusakannya.Kata kunci: Resiko, Proximity Value Index, FMEA.

Abstract

Effect and Analysis (FMEA) method, Risk Priority Number (RPN) Gas production need to consider the risks of the process of production and distribution. The purpose of this research is to identify the risks that exist in the supply chain management of PT. Aneka Gas Industri, and determine mitigation methods from any of existing risk. Identification method that used is the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), The FMEA tracking various types of failures from the existing system in PT. Aneka Gas Industri then analyze all the effects caused by the damage. The result that achieved is a descripton of the seriousness and consequences of risk for the company, and the quantification of the value of risk-based of Risk priority Number (RPN). The risk factors of power supply is the most part of critical failure with RPN score 729 and the risk factors of quality of the gas that’s uncertain will be a part of the lowest failure with RPN score of 18. Abstract

One of the factor to minimize the total cost is increasing the efficiency staples of copra, to avoid raw materials shortage that will make the production process stopped or the company will paying more for storage when the raw materials is excessive. This research is applying EPQ (Economic Production Quantity) method to determine the quantity and the period of staples ordering in a palm oil industries, using PT. Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk as a case study. By using EPQ method, the company could anticipating the gradually arrival of raw materials. Financially, EPQ method is more optimal in ordering the raw materials. The calculation resulted, the value of Q0 (order quantity) is 79.539,90 tons and T0 (order period) is 1,29 months. Abstract

Lubricating oil available in a wide range which is offered consumers through the promotion in order to convince consumers that the product is the best. This study aims to determine preferences of consumers in the selection of motorcycle 4-stroke type lubricating oils using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. From the analysis using the AHP based on criteria, it shows that durability is ranks the first with a weight value of 0.5034, following with stock availability (0.5019), price (0.4248), and recommendations of manufactorer coming last (0.3840). As for the preference of alternative lubricating oil, analysis base on brand of motorcycle it shows that Yamaha with Yamalube 7.5% all criteria, Honda with Yamalube of respective value 4.77% and 4.37% on criteria recomendation of manufactorer and price, Enduro 3.16% the stock availability, and federal 3.08% for durability. Suzuki of Yamalube which is value of 3.43% and 3.05% on criteria recommendation of manufactorer and price, Enduro ​​respectively 3.56% and 3.43% to criteria stock availability and durability. Kawasaki on Enduro with 43.76% and 26.85% to the price and stock availability, Top-1 27.17% and 31.28% to recommendations of manufactorer and durability. Abstract

In gas industry , gas is distributed to customer in the form of gas tube. Empty gas tube from customer will be refilled in filling plant. In its operation, gas distribution is consisting of two activities,  namely, delivering gas and picking up empty tube. Based on its historical data, PT. Aneka Gas Industri once in a while facing an  operational failures. One of the solution proposed is applying FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analisys)  method. From its application it is observable some critical and some potential corrective measures. In order to consider  internal and external aspects of company operation, SWOT Analisys is  integrated into the FMEA method. Results of integrating SWOT Analisys into FMEA Method used to determine Correctional measures taken. Key word : Gas Distribution, FMEA method, SWOT Analisys,  correctional measure

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to get the influence of cutting speed variation and feeding rate variation on turning machine to work piece surface roughness. The problem in this research is how the influence of Cutting Speed and feeding rate on turning machine to work piece surface roughness with method of variance analysis. Therefore, studying the turning machine and measurement of surface roughnes with some work piece are requird. From the cutting calculation result, it is found that if cutting speed is increasing, the surface roughness is decreasing, while if feeding rate is increasing, the surface roughness is increasing. From the variance analysis with 95 % of confidence level, result of the cutting speed variation on turning machine will not give significant influence to work piece surface, and the result of feeding rate variation will give significant influence. Abstract

The need of lubricant based on the huge number of users and the significant increase of costumer each year has made lubricant as one of profitable mechanical thing. Quality control has a very important role in maintaining customer’s satisfaction as well. This research aims to analyze the service quality, mainly in distribution process, based on customer’s complaint. Customers were asked to give score on some attributes and fill in a questionnaire about their experience related to various types of complaints. Data taken were then analyzed using AHP method. The results show that “Assurance” has the highest weight score (0.313) and “Tangible” has the lowest score (0.118). The multiplication of weight score and faction resulting “Reliable” as the most critical attribute regarding service quality (0.9583)—close to “Understanding” (0.09567). Abstract

The purpose of this research is to integrate aspects of risk in the process of managing spare parts in PLTD Bitung. To achieve these objectives, this research is using AHP methods (Analytical Hierarchy Proses).   Froms the result of the AHP the weight of the criteria are as follows : availability of goods (0,9542) delivery time (0,9986). Wear rate (1.3293), risk (1,1439). From AHP methods, priority supply of spareparts wish regards to all criteria, the highest priority given to nidlle bearing parts (1,4028).   Keyword : AHP, Risk, Needle bearing, Criteria

Abstract

The aim of this work is to design a shaft for transmitting power of 100 hp. There are two gears on the shaft, and two bearings as supports at the shaft. Based on design result, diameter of critical points on the shaft have been acquired as follows; D1=1,80 in, D2=3,40 in, D3=3,74 in, D4=5,00 in, D5=4,40 in, and D6=3,15 in. Abstract

Identifiying the mode of activity which having no activity is a strategic endeavour to inercase productivity. In this study the house of quality (HoQ) is integrated with FMEA to prever reocurrance of work in electricity generating company function. The result of this study revealed three most critical waste concerning to the motion waste with RPN 84, overproduction with RPN 72, and unused people with RPN 60.
