Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) whether the learning outcomes of students taught with problem-based learning models using macromedia flash are better than students taught with direct learning models, 2) whether the learning outcomes of students who have high motivation are better than students who have low motivation,3)  is there an interaction between the two learning models with the level of motivation in influencing student learning outcomes. This research is a quasi experimental study. The population in this study were all grade VII students of MTs Lab. UINSU Medan Academic Year 2018/2019 which consists of three classes. Samples were selected by cluster random sampling of two classes. . The instrument used was a student learning motivation questionnaire and student learning outcomes test. Data obtained from the research instrument were then analyzed using two-way anova in the SPSS 14.0 for Windows program. The results showed that: Student learning outcomes taught by the problem-based learning model were better than students taught by the direct learning model (sig. = 0.027 <0.05), Student learning outcomes that were highly motivated were better than students who were motivated low (sig. = 0,000 <0.05), There is an interaction between the two learning models with the level of motivation in influencing student learning outcomes (sig. = 0.018 <0.05).

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian praktikum multimedia tentang pemodelan alotrop karbon fulerena telah dilakuk untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi pada ikatan kimia. Mahasiswa sebagai sampel membuat tiga bola kertC 60 , C 70 dan C sesuai map geometri heksagonal menurut prosedur yang telah disediakan. Selanjutnymahasiswa diminta menentukan jumlah dan posisi atom karbon relatif terhadap lingkar pentagonheksagon pengeliling, jenis dan jumlah ikatan tunggal-rangkap, pada ketiga bola-kertas yang dibuanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari rerata skor 33,00 (pretes) menjadi 87,(postes) dengan rerata gain (capaian) ternormalisasi 0,80 (kategori tinggi). Selain itu persepsi mahsiswa atas kegiatan ini juga termasuk kategori tinggi (~92%). 80 Kata Kunci: fullerena, multimedia, miskonsepsiTHE EFFECTIVENESS OF MULTIMEDIA PRACTICAL OF CHEMISTRY BOUND IN IMPROVING CHEMISTRY STUDENTS’ LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT Abstract: The study of the multimedia practical in creating carbon allotrope of fullerenes was con ducted for overcoming misconception in chemical bond. The students as samples were asked to prpare individually three “paper-balls” of C 60 , C 70 and C from the corresponding structural-hexagon maps given to them along with the procedures. They were then asked to calculate the number carbon atoms and identify the position of them relative to the pentagonal-hexagonal rings, identify ttype of single-double covalent bonds and calculate the number of them. The findings showed ththere was a significant increase in the average learning achievement from 33.00 (pre-test) to 87.(post-test) with the normalized gain score average of 0.80 (in the high category). Moreover, the stdents’ perceptions toward this activity belonged to the high category (~92%). Keywords: fullerenes, multimedia, misconception 80

Abstract

This research aimed to determine is there any significant differences between Students’ Science Process Skill taught by using Collaboration Based Guided Discovery Technique using Flash Media with conventional learning. The sample of the research was taken by using cluster random sampling from around 2 classes consisting of 82 students. Experimental class was taught by using Based Guided Discovery Technique using Flash Media. Meanwhile control class was taught by using conventional teaching technique. The data analysis technique used independent T-test and correlation test with SPSS 17 at the significance level α = 0.05. The result of the research showed  that there were significant differences between students’ science process skill taught by using Collaboration Based Guided Discovery Technique using Flash Media with conventional learning.

Abstract

The objective in this research: (1) Determine a better learning model to improve learning outcomes physics students among learning model Inquiry Training based multimedia and Inquiry Training learning model. (2) Determine the level of motivation to learn in affects physics student learning outcomes. (3) Knowing the interactions between the model of learning and motivation in influencing student learning outcomes. This research is a quasi experimental. The population in this research was all students in class XI SMA Negeri 1 T.P Sunggal Semester I 2012/2013. The sample of this research was consisted of two classes with a sample of 70 peoples who are determined by purposive sampling, the IPA XI-2 as a class experiment using a model-based multimedia learning Training Inquiry as many as 35 peoples and XI IPA-3 as a control class using learning model Inquiry Training 35 peoples. Hypotheses were analyzed using the GLM at significant level of 0.05 using SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing conducted found that: (1) Training Inquiry-based multimedia learning model in improving student learning outcomes rather than learning model physics Inquiry Training. (2) The results of studying physics students who have high motivation to learn better than students who have a low learning motivation. (3) From this research there was an interaction between learning model inquiry-based multimedia training and motivation to study on learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan konsep perangkat web untuk lingkungan pribadi mahasiswa pada pembelajaran. Potensi Teknology Pedagogic Conten Knowledge adalah sebagai komponen tubuh pengetahuan yang mempengaruhi BDR (belajar dari rumah). Ruang belajar aplikasi classroom yang banyak dimanfaatkan untuk pembelajaran daring belum memiliki  memiliki fleksibilitas, sebab bersifat aplikasi pembelajaran yang umum digunakan siapa saja. Penelitian pengembangan konsep belajar ini mengacu pada lingkungan pribadi belajar peserta didik dalam mengelola belajar dengan teknologi, dan konten melalui pengetahuannya yang bersifat pribadi. Berbagai informasi yang diperoleh, konsep PLE yang dikembangkan melalui TPACK menghasilkan peserta didik yang mandiri dan melaksanakan tugas serta tanggung jawab belajarnya dengan caranya sendiri. Rancangan pembelajaran TPACK sebagai interaksi sinergi kompleks tiga tubuh pengetahuan yang dipadukan pada ranah konsep PLE. Yaitu: PLE Teknologi Conten knowledge, PLE Paedagogic Conten Knowledge , dan PLE Conten Knowledge. Interaksi pada tiga tubuh pengetahuan tersebut baik secara teoritis maupun dalam praktek, menghasilkan jenis pengetahuan fleksibel  yang diperlukan untuk penggunaan teknologi dengan sukses dalam pengajaran daring.

Abstract

Visualisasi pembelajaran kimia merupakan suatu pendekatan paedagogik yang menggunakan simulasi komputer untuk menjelaskan konsep yang abstrak, Studi  ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pembelajaran kimia koordinasi melalui program moodle (Modular Oriented Object Dynamic Learning). Dari data yang dianalisis dengan SPSS for Window 11.5, ternyata model pembelajaran mengembangkan kemampuan generik pemodelan, abstraksi kimia dan konsistensi logis. Dari data nilai mahasiswa pengguna moodle, ternyata model ini mampu membantu mahasiswa dalam menginterpretasikan konsep-konsep yang abstrak, terutama untuk mahasiswa dengan kemampuan awal kimia yang rendah dengan t = 51,913, sig.(2-tailed) = 0,000.  Terdapat korelasi yang sangat signifikan antara indek prestasi kumulatif mahasiswa terhadap penguasaan konsep kimia koordinasi dengan r = 0,570. Disamping itu juga terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara tingkat intelegensi (IQ) dan kemampuan awal kimia terhadap penguasaan konsep kimia koordinasi dengan harga r masing-masing 0,3 dan 0,337.  Dengan dikembangkannya pemodelan Kimia Koordinasi pada situs  pendidikan kimia berbasis web melalui http://kimia.upi.edu/moodle/ mahasiswa lebih dapat mengembangkan materi yang sudah diterima di perkuliahan kelas maupun di laboratorium secara on-line.  Pembelajaran online berbasis moodle ini berkontribusi tinggi dalam mewujudkan perkuliahan Kimia Anorganik  terintegrasi dengan N-gain materi perkuliahan 0,459 dan N-gain praktikum multimedia 0,763. Model pembelajaran berbasis web ini dapat diterapkan untuk memanipulasi lingkungan pembelajaran mahasiswa, sehingga menyenangkan dan membangkitkan motivasi belajarnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether students' critical thinking skills with the problem based learning (PBL) learning model assisted by animated videos on the substance pressure material can meet the high criteria and what aspects of critical thinking skills are developed through the problem based learning (PBL) learning model assisted by animated videos on the material pressure of the substance. This type of research was conducted using a quasi-experimental research method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study consisted of one class totaling 32 students, namely class VIII-8 of 17 Medan State Junior High School which was selected by random sampling. The instrument used is a critical thinking ability test that has been validated in the form of multiple choice as many as 25 questions by fulfilling the content validity requirements, namely in the range of values from 0.357 to 0.757 and fulfilling the reliability requirements of 0.778. From the results of the study, the average pretest was 58.281 and the posttest was 87.813 which stated that the data was homogeneous. In the normality test, the Chi-Square value of the pretest was 23,426 and the posttest was 10,253 which stated that the data were normally distributed. Based on the results of the analysis of the hypothesis test (one sample t-test) obtained tcount > ttable that is 10,734>1,695. In the normalized gain test, an n-gain value of 0.719 (71.9%) was obtained which stated that the critical thinking skills of students who were taught using a problem based learning (PBL) learning model assisted by animated videos on material pressure substances met the high criteria. The results showed that the students' critical thinking ability for aspects of giving simple explanations was 54.69%, aspects of building basic skills by 53.13%, concluding aspects of 54.69%, aspects of making further explanations of 62.24%, and aspects of making further explanations. Manage strategies and tactics by 71.09%. So it can be concluded that the aspects of critical thinking that are developed are aspects of managing strategies and tactics

Abstract

Research has been carried out on "The Effectiveness of Online Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic" at SMAN 1 Binjai Kuala Begumit for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. This study aims to determine student activities, to use online learning media and to find out the benefits of online learning. Research methods This type of research is included in qualitative research. Where in this study using a study of literature, journals, books. This study uses a survey method conducted online. Data were collected using the saturated sample method, where the entire population was sampled.Data collection was carried out by distributing online questionnaires to 35 respondents as a sample consisting of school teachers at SMAN 1 Binjai Kuala Begumit who conducted online learning. Collecting data using a questionnaire is used to get responses from respondents. Based on the research results obtained from respondents' answers, it shows that: 58% of respondents are ready to follow changes and support government directives to implement online learning. 40% of respondents are happy to use online learning media. 20% of respondents support if this online learning system is implemented in the future. 25% of respondents stated that online learning was effective in improving student learning outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of teachers and students for case study-based chemistry learning media that can support the chemistry learning process for grades X and XI in Senior High Schools (SMTA). The methods used are literature studies (curriculum analysis, analysis of chemical concepts on colloidal topics, and journal analysis) and field studies (analysis of multimedia needs for chemistry teachers and students in class X and XI SMA in the form of a questionnaire using google form to seven high school schools in the district). Coal). Based on the results of the analysis of the first literature study, it was found that the basic competencies regarding colloid systems are KD 3.15 and KD 4.15, then the chemical concepts in colloidal materials are classified as abstract about 17%, abstract concepts with concrete examples show 33%. While the concrete concept of 50%. The results of the journal analysis stated that the development of interactive multimedia based on case studies is important because it can explain abstract concepts to be more concrete. The next stage of the field study showed that 100% of teachers and 91.4% of students stated that it was important to integrate case study-based interactive multimedia content in the learning process. The results of this study provide a clear picture of the need for the development of case study-based interactive multimedia. Keywords: needs analysis, interactive multimedia, case study.
