Abstract

Telah dilakukan penggunaan geolistrik resistivitimeter untuk mengidentifikasi struktur bawah permukaan batuan di antara lau Ketuken dan lau Bekerah di desa Sulkam kabupaten Langkat. Pengukuran menggunakan alat geolistrik Automatic Resistivity System (ARES)-G4 v4.7, SN: 0609135 konfigurasi Wenner–Schlumberger dengan panjang lintasan 155 meter dan jarak antara elektroda 5 meter. Data hasil geolistrik ARES diolah menggunakan software Res2DinV untuk memperlihatkan struktur bawah permukaan batuan yang diukur. Hasil interpretasi yang diperoleh dari data geolistrik yang dikaitkan dengan data core hole dan data geologi diperoleh pola penyebaran lapisan bawah permukaan di dominasi oleh batu gamping dengan nilai resistivitas berkisar 500-10.000 Ωm dan lapisan lempung dengan nilai resistivitas 0-100 Ωm, tuffa dengan nilai resistivitas 200-1.000 Ωm serta lapisan tanah dengan resistivitas 250-500 Ωm. Abstract

ZnS nanoparticle has been syntesized from zinc asetat and thiorea 0.2 M using copresipitation method. The structure of the ZnS nanoparticle are wurtzite with hexagonal and blende (sphalerit) with cubic shape with average size of 39.56 nm. The elements of the ZnS measuring using EDS it was found that Zn has a mass of sebesar 52.20% with disperse energy of 8.630 keV and S element of 18.92% with disperse energy of 2.307 keV

Abstract

This research is aimed to know and describe the students Achievement using problem based learning and conventional learning about static fluid topic . This research employed a quasi experimental pretest and posttest with control design. The populations were 60 students grade Xl-science in SMAN 2 Lintongnihuta academic year 2015/2016. The samples consist of two classes, one class with 30 students as experiment class and one class as control class with 30 students, while the sampling technique used purposif sampling. Research instrument used essay test. The data obtained in the study were analyzed by the computer program Ms.Excel. From the research the pre-test average value of outcomes experiment class 26.66 and control class 27.83, after giving the treatment the post-test with the average value of outcomes experiment class 59.66 and control class 49.50. The result of t test Uunt = 3.158 while ttabie= 1.661. Because tc<>unl>ttabie(3.158> 1.661) so Ho rejected. The result showed that students achievement in experiment class had been treated with problem based learning model have significantly different from control class which had been treated with conventional learning. In addition, the improvement of PBL in experiment class was greater than in control class. This meant implementation problem based learning has a significant effect toward student achievement.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know and describetthe student’s outcomes using Cooperative learning model ofNumbered Heads Together (NHT) type in the  static fluidtopic grade XI Science in SMA Negeri 11 Medan A.Y. 2015/2016.This research employed a quasi experimental with the population were grade XI- Science in Negeri 11 Medan, the population consists of five classes. The sample consists of two classes while the technique used by cluster random sampling, class XI-science2 using cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together type and class XI Sciences1 using conventional learning. Research instruments  multiple choice tests for pre-test and post-test 20 questions. For  the hypothesis test used different test, after the prerequisite test is done, the test for normality and homogeneity test.From the research the pretest average value of experiment class  39.42 and standard deviation 12.93 and average value of post test in experiment class 78 and standard deviation 10.92, while the control class  obtained average value of pretest 36.71 and standard deviation 10.49 and average value of postest 65.14 and  standard deviation 10.81. Both of  class showed normal distribution and variance both of class are homogeneous . The result t test tcount = 4.96 andttable = 1.669, so tcount > ttable (4.96> 1.669) the result showed that the implementation of cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) typehave significantly  to the learning outcomes of students in fluid static topic grade XI-Science SMA Negeri 11 Medan A.Y. 2015/2016. Result of student activity also showed student in Cooperative Learning Model class has good activeness. Thus, the activity has effect toward the students outcome.

Abstract

Abstract:. Learning tools are an important part of a lecture. Consistency in both formatting and quality design becomes an important role. In this study aimed at the development of Scientifics-based device design approach. Improved Academic Success Skill becomes the ultimate goal of application of the resulting device design. The research method used is based on product development. In the research conducted information gathering through questionnaires and needs analysis in various faculties. There are 3 stages in the research through the product observation stage, survey needs analysis, and responsive questionnaire. From the research results obtained that: First, the product produced so far has not been directed to the achievement of Academic Success Skill and arranged in a standard format and intact; Secondly, consistency and standard in producing instructional tools that become the benchmark is felt necessary in supporting the alignment and suitability to support the performance of lectures; and Third, the need for the format and design of standard and specific learning tools on the achievement of Academic Success Skill is expected to materialize in assisting the implementation of more co-ordinated courses. In subsequent developments the model of learning device design is tested in small groups that will be used as information in the improvement and analysis of deficiencies to the resulting product. Abstrak: Perangkat pembelajaran merupakan bagian penting dari suatu pelaksanaan perkuliahan. Konsistensi dalam perancangan baik secara format dan kualitas menjadi peranan penting. Dalam penelitian ini ditujukan pada pengembangan desain perangkat berbasis pendekatan Scientifics. Peningkatan Academic Success Skill menjadi tujuan akhir penerapan desain perangkat yang dihasilkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berlandaskan pengembangan produk. Dalam penelitian dilakukan pengumpulan informasi melalui angket dan analisis kebutuhan diberbagai fakultas. Ada 3 Tahapan dalam penelitian melalui tahapan observasi produk, survey analisis kebutuhan, dan angket responsif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: Pertama, produk yang dihasilkan selama ini belum terarah kepada pencapaian Academic Success Skill dan tertata dalam format yang baku dan utuh; Kedua, Konsistensi dan standar dalam menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang menjadi patokan sangat dirasakan perlu dalam menunjang keselarasan dan kesesuaian untuk menunjuang kinerja perkuliahan; dan Ketiga, kebutuhan format dan desain dari perangkat pembelajaran yang baku dan spesifik pada pencapaian Academic Success Skill sangat diharapkan terwujud dalam membantu pelaksanaan perkuliahan yang lebih terkoordirnir. Dalam perkembangan selanjutnya model desain perangkat pembelajaran diujikan dalam kelompok kecil yang akan dijadikan informasi dalam perbaikan dan analisis kekurangan terhadap produk yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Research was aimed to determine: (1) Students’ learning outcomes that was taught with just in time teaching based STAD cooperative learning method and STAD cooperative learning method (2) Students’ outcomes on Physics subject that had high learning activity compared with low learning activity. The research sample was random by raffling four classes to get two classes. The first class taught with just in time teaching based STAD cooperative learning method, while the second class was taught with STAD cooperative learning method. The instrument used was conceptual understanding that had been validated with 7 essay questions. The average gain values of students learning results with just in time teaching based STAD cooperative learning method 0,47 higher than average gain values of students learning results with STAD cooperative learning method. The high learning activity and low learning activity gave different learning results. In this case the average gain values of students learning results with just in time teaching based STAD cooperative learning method 0,48 higher than average gain values of students learning results with STAD cooperative learning method. There was interaction between learning model and learning activity to the physics learning result test in students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the students' physics problem solving skills taught by the Project Based Learning and Problem Based Learning models in the material of optical instruments in class XI Semester II MAN 1 Medan T.P 2018/2019. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population in the study were all students of class XI Semester II MAN 1 Medan consisting of 7 MIA classes totaling 329 students. Sampling was done by random sampling by taking 2 classes from 7 classes randomly, namely class XI MIA-5 as an experimental class with PBL model totaling 40 people and class MIA-1 as an experimental class with a PjBL model of 40 people. The instrument used to find out problem solving skills is a test of learning outcomes in the form of essays with a number of 7 questions and in this study assisted by three observers to assist researchers in carrying out their research. From the results of posttest data processing, it was found that the significance value was smaller than 0.05, H_0 was rejected and accepted H_a or There were differences in students' physics problem solving skills taught with the PJBL model and PBL models

Abstract

This research aimed to determine is there any significant differences between Students’ Science Process Skill taught by using Collaboration Based Guided Discovery Technique using Flash Media with conventional learning. The sample of the research was taken by using cluster random sampling from around 2 classes consisting of 82 students. Experimental class was taught by using Based Guided Discovery Technique using Flash Media. Meanwhile control class was taught by using conventional teaching technique. The data analysis technique used independent T-test and correlation test with SPSS 17 at the significance level α = 0.05. The result of the research showed  that there were significant differences between students’ science process skill taught by using Collaboration Based Guided Discovery Technique using Flash Media with conventional learning.
