Abstract

Bagi seorang guru, menciptakan pendidikan karakter pada pembelajaran matematika adalah hal yang esensial. Sehingga, perludiadakan kegiatan kegiatan akademik seperti bimbingan teknis bagi guru-guru SMP/MTS dalam mendesain Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang Terintegrasi Nilai-nilai Karakter Positif pada Pembelajaran. Kegiatan ilmiah ini dikemas dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan dari aplikasi Zoom dan melalui YouTube Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UIR pada hari Kamis, 3 Desember 2020. Metode dalam pengabdian ini yaitu penyampaian materi tentang cara mendesain LKPD, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Dalam hal ini pemateri membahas hal utama yang harus diperhatikan sebelum membuat LKPD yaitu tujuan dari pendidikan itu sendiri yang memuat muatan karakter didalam mendesain LKPD tersebut. Dengan kegiatan pengabdian ini maka guru-guru dapat mendesain dan membuat LKPD yang dikaitkan dengan pendidikan karakter positif yang diharapkan dapat tertanam dalam diri siswa.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya guru yang mengalami hambatan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Padahal sebagaiman anjuran dan harapan Mendikbud, pembelajaran oleh guru harus tetap menjadi perhatian penuh. Mengedepankan pelayanan dan ekspektasi yang tinggi terhadap capaian hasil pembelajaran. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan mensosialisasikan dan memberikan pendampingan kepada para guru SMA khususnya di SMAN Kateman dalam mensosialisasikan pembelajran jarak jauh untuk membangun sekolah yang kreatif. Dengan diberikannya workshop dan pelatihan ini, diharapkan para guru dapat mengaplikasikan hasil dari kegiatan untuk meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dan pengembangan diri. Pelaksanaan kegaiatan PKM ini direncanakan secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom Meeting yang diikuti oleh 58 peserta guru SMA yang berasal dari Kabupaten Indra Giri Hilir dan Sekolah Mitra SMA Kateman. Adapun target dari kegiatan ini adalah: (1) Guru mendapat tambahan wawasan dari hasil Workshop pembelajaran jarak jauh membangun sekolah kreatif; (2) Guru mampu memanfaatkan berbagai media pembelajaran dan apliksi yang dapat memudahkan dalam memahami materi pembelajaran untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran jarak jauh; (3) Produk dari hasil pengabdian berupa deskripsi dari hasil workshop Pembelajaran Jarak jauh membangun sekolah kreatif. Adapun luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah publikasi artikel ilmiah dalam bentuk jurnal ilmiah nasional

Abstract

The problem raised in this community service is the use of rhymes in Efforts to Build the Character of Class V Students at the Special Assisted State Elementary School of Dumai Timur. The decline in character / morals that occurs among students / students so that teachers are expected to be able to improve the character of these students through learning rhymes. The purpose of this community service is to provide socialization about the use of rhymes in an effort to build the character of the fifth graders of the Special Guidance Elementary School in East Dumai. It is hoped that after this socialization the character / morals of students will increase in a better direction because literature, especially rhymes, has a very important role in character building efforts, because basically literary works contain many life values ​​that are full of educational values. character in it. The results achieved in this community service activity are an increase in the character/morality of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Special Guidance for East Dumai which can be seen from the following indicators, namely the increase in positive characters that occur in students, reduced immoral relationships/brawls that occur among students/ students, creating a comfortable learning atmosphere at school.

Abstract

AbstrakAsesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) merupakan asesmen pada kurikulum Merdeka Belajar yang mengukur kemampuan literasi dan numerasi serta survey karakter pada peserta didik. Kemampuan numerasi peserta didik dapat pula dilatih melalui asesmen diagnostik, asesmen formatif, dan asesmen sumatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan soal kemampuan numerasi untuk peserta didik fase D yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Formative evaluation (self-evaluation, expert reviews, one-to-one, dan small group) merupakan desain yang digunakan sebagai metode dari penelitian berjenis development research ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan 13 peserta didik fase D sebagai subjek penelitian, 3 peserta didik pada tahap one-to-one dan 10 peserta didik pada tahap small group. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini adalah berupa produk soal numerasi yang teruji sangat valid (92%) dan sangat praktis (88%). Produk soal yang dihasilkan berupa 30 butir soal numerasi yang memenuhi seluruh komponen Domain, Konteks, Level Kognitif, dan Butir Soal.The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) constitutes an evaluation within the Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar framework, aimed at gauging students proficiency in literacy and numeracy, alongside conducting a character survey. To enhance students' numeracy skills, various methods such as diagnostic assessments, formative assessments, and summative assessments are employed. This studys objective are to design and develop of numeracy skills questions for students phase D, aligning with criteria of validity and practicality. Formative evaluation (self-evaluation, expert reviews, one-to-one, and small group) is the design used as a method of this development research type. This study cohort encompassed 13 students in phase D, comprising 3 participants engaged in the one-to-one stage and 10 participans involved in the small group stage. The results of this development research are the numeration questions that were tested to be very valid (92%) and very practical (88%). The resulting product of these developmental efforts is a set of 30 numeric items that fulfill all essential components, encompassing Domain, Context, Cognitive Level, and Question Items.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of video-based learning media development using Powtoon on square and triangular materials in the 7th grade of SM. The type of development research uses the R&D model (Research and Development) which has been modified into 7 stages, namely Potential and Problem, Data Collection, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, Trial Product Testing and End Product. Research objects are video animation-based learning media using Powtoon on square and triangular materials in the 7th Grade. The test subjects are 20 students in the 8th Graduate Grade State 1 Kerinci Right. A learning media product developed using Powtoon is validated by four validators. Data validation results and practicality in the analysis by determining the average of each assessment. Results from the analysis of validation data show an average of 85.92% with criteria very valid. The elevation evaluation of the teacher's response to the use of learning media obtained an average of 85.33% with very practical criteria and the average elevation assessment of the student response of 86.48% with the criteria highly practical. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning media based on animated video using Powtoon on square and triangular material of grade VII SM tested its validity and practicality. This research needs to be continued to test its effectiveness on the cognitive abilities of students in the topics of quadrilaterals and triangles.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to apply digital learning media in the form of Adobe Animate CC in learning mathematics. This research is a quantitative research with a comparative approach to compare learning outcomes based on the application of interactive learning media Adobe Animate CC. The research population was all junior high schools in Bengkalis Regency, while the sample was a portion of the schools taken purposively according to the purpose of the research. The data collection tool is a learning achievement test and a checklist to observe student learning motivation in class while studying with Adobe Animate CC. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistics, t-test and One Way Anova. The results of the analysis show that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes in the experimental class using Adobe Animate CC learning media and the control class using conventional learning. There were significant differences in learning motivation in the experimental class at the first meeting, second meeting, third meeting and fourth meeting. Adobe Animate CC learning media can improve learning outcomes and motivation of junior high school students in Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province.Keywords digital learning media, learning outcomes, learning motivation.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan media pembelajaran digital berupa Adobe Animate CC dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan komparasi untuk membandingkan hasil belajar berdasarkan penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif Adobe Animate CC. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh sekolah menengah pertama di Kabupaten Bengkalis sedangkan sampel adalah sebagian sekolah yang diambil secara purposive sesuai dengan tujuan dilaksanakan penelitian. Alat pengumpulan data adalah dengan tes hasil belajar dan daftar checklist untuk mengamati motvasi belajar siswa di kelas selama belajar dengan Adobe Animate CC. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif, t-test dan One Way Anova. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen menggunakan media pembelajaran Adobe Animate CC dengan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan motivasi belajar pada kelas eksperimen pada pertemuan pertema, pertemuan kedua, pertemuan ketiga dan pertemuan keempat. Media pembelajaran Adobe Animate CC dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa sekolah menengah pertama di Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau.Kata kunci media pembelajaran digital, hasil belajar, motivasi belajar. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v24i1.pp172-182

Abstract

Students' critical thinking abilities which are still low need to be developed and one of the abilities that must be instilled in students is self-confidence. This research aims to describe students' mathematical critical thinking abilities in terms of self-confidence. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with a case study method. The research subjects were 9th-grade students at one of the junior high schools in Siak Hulu and numbered 33 people. The data collection technique in this research is a test technique using mathematical critical thinking ability test instruments and non-test techniques in the form of student self-confidence questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique is carried out through several stages, including reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it was found that; (1) overall students' mathematical critical thinking abilities are classified as less critical and need to be improved; (2) self-confidence is in line with mathematical critical thinking skills where students with high self-confidence have sufficient critical thinking skills which are indicated by students being able to master two indicators of critical thinking. Students with moderate self-confidence have sufficient critical thinking skills, which is indicated by students being able to master two critical thinking indicators. In contrast, students with low self-confidence have sufficient critical thinking skills, which is indicated by students being able to master two critical thinking indicators.
