Abstract

The new archetype of Indonesian education has brought about a change in the position of teachers and students in teaching and learning activities. In the past, the teacher was the source of all information, but along with the development of science and technology, the teacher served as a facilitator, mentor and at the same time a learner. Meanwhile, students are no longer reminders of facts and principles but have the position of reviewers, problem-solvers, and strategy creators. One of the things that can be done to synergize the position of teachers and students in the millennial era is by using learning models that are in accordance with technological developments and integrated good character development. This article aims to describe the stages in using the ATM learning model (inviting, accompanying, and independent) in elementary schools in social studies learning. The purpose of implementing the ATM learning model is to determine the plan and implementation of learning, increase student activity, and increase student social studies learning outcomes in cognitive and psychomotor aspects. The application of this ATM learning model in cycle II was able to improve the results of teacher performance so that it could achieve the target of 100%. Then able to increase the activeness of students to reach the target of 83.33%. Student learning outcomes increased to reach the target of 87.50% both from the cognitive aspect and the aspect of skill performance presenting the results of the identification of the use of natural resources.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitianadalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jawa dan nilai karakter nasionalis peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode bermain peran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK dengan dua siklus. Penelitian dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas 5 di SDN 3 Wirun, Kecamatan Kutoarjo, Kabupaten Purworejo tahun pelajaran 2020 / 2021. Teknik pengmpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, dan tes. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian penerapan metode bermain peran bahwa pada siklus I menunjukkan persentase keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jawa 64,7% dengan kriteria baik kemudian meningkat menjadi 82,3% dengan kriteria sangat baik pada siklus II. Sedangkan persentase karakter nasionalis siswa pada siklus I sebesar 70,5% dengan kriteria baik, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 88,2% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Rata- rata nilai keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jawa ragam krama siswa pada siklus I adalah 55 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 58,8%. Rata- rata nilai keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jawa ragam krama pada siklus II adalah 71 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 76,4%. Hasil observasi ini sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

The purpose of conducting this research is to find out (1) Data on the educational background of parents of grade 2 SMU 1 Panggang, Gunungkidul, (2) Data on the intensity of parental attention of students in grade 2 SMU 1 Panggang, Gunungkidul, (3) Achievement student learning at SMU 1 Panggang, Gunungkidul, (4)The effect of educational background on student achievement in grade 2 at SMU 1 Panggang, Gunungkidul, (5) The effect of the intensity of parental attention on student achievement at SMU 1 Panggang, Gunungkidul, (6) The effect educational background of parents and the intensity of parental attention to parental learning achievement on learning achievement at SMU 1 Panggang, Gunungkidul. The population is 2nd grade students of SMU 1 Panggang, Gunungkidul which consists of 3 classes with a total of 116 students, all populations are taken as research respondents. The data collection method used is the questionnaire/questionnaire method and the documentation method. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive statistical analysis, partial correlation and multiple correlation. The results of the study are as follows: (1) The educational background of parents (X1) is 48,39% (2) the intensity of parental attention (X1) is 73.28% is in the medium category,(3)Student achievement in grade2SMU1Bakedat 100.00% is in the medium category, (4) There is a significant positive effect of parents' educational background and the intensity of parental attention on student achievement at SMU 1 Panggang, Gunungkidul. This means that the higher the educational background of parents and the intensity of parental attention, the higher the student's learning achievement, (5) the educational background of parents and the intensity of parental attention together make an effective contribution to learning achievement by 36, 261%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Civics learning achievement through a contextual learning model for fifth grade students at SD Sumberwungu II Tepus, Gunungkidul Regency. The subjects in this study were 10 fifth grade students of SD Sumberwungu II Tepus, Gunungkidul Regency. Data collection methods used are observation and tests. This classroom action research was carried out in three cycles. Each cycle passes through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Each cycle is carried out by giving action in groups, then one of the group representatives presents the results of group discussions, and the teacher concludes the results of student presentations. The data analysis method used is descriptive quantitative with percentage technique. The results showed that there was an increase in Civics learning achievement in fifth grade students of SD Sumberwungu II Tepus, Gunungkidul Regency, with an average mastery of learning achievement in the pre-cycle 37.8%, the end of the first cycle 40%, the end of the second cycle 50%, and the end of the cycle. III by 90%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Wates. Teachers need to take classroom action by improving the monotonous learning process, namely lecture learning using the Problem Based Learning model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research with 2 cycles, which includes planning, action, observation and reflection steps. Data collection techniques used are observation and tests. The collected data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive technique with percentage technique. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Problem Based Learning model is more interesting for students to learn and can improve students' social studies learning outcomes. 2) Learning outcomes in the initial conditions obtained an average score of 55.6 with students who completed a total of 31.25%, after using the Problem Based Learning model in the first cycle obtained an average score of 68.0 with 56.25% complete participants. Then after repairs were made in the second cycle, the average was 76.9 with 78.13% of students completed.

Abstract

This study aims to increase motivation and learning outcomes of SDA material for social studies subject matter through the Group Investigation (GI) model. The research subjects were fourth-grade students at SDN Kemadang for the 2018/2019 academic year, totaling 20 students. The method used is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles. Every cycle consists of four steps, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Collect data using observation sheets of learning motivation and student learning outcomes tests. The result showed that the Group Investigation (GI) model could increase the motivation and learning outcomes of the fourth-grade students at SDN Kemadang. It shows the increase in students' motivation and learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the learning motivation reached 72.5% in a good enough category in the second cycle is increased to 80% with the best type. Completeness of learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 55%, with an average score of 76.10 in enough category, and the end of the second cycle increased to 80% with an average score of 82.05 in the best category.

Abstract

This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes through cooperative learning of the Think Pair Share type for class VIIIC students of SMPN 2 Saptosari, Gunungkidul Regency, in the 2021/2022 academic year. The subjects of this study were 24 students consisting of 10 males and 14 females. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings, and each session has four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative descriptive technique with a percentage. The results showed that the Think-Pair-Share type of cooperative learning improves social studies learning outcomes. Its show: 1) the number of students who completed the pre-cycle of as many as 13 students (54.16%), 2) at the end of the first cycle of students who reached the KKM as many as 17 students (70.83%), and 3) at the end of the second cycle as many as 20 students (83.33%) managed to reach the KKM. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that Think Pair Share cooperative learning can improve social studies learning outcomes for class VIIIC SMPN 2 Saptosari, Gunungkidul Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

This research aimed to increase activeness, motivation, and social studies learning outcomes through the application of the Student Facilitator and Explaining model to fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Tunggorono Purworejo for the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were students of class V SD Negeri Tunggorono, totaling 12 students. The research stages include 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques using documentation, questionnaires, observations, and tests. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative with percentages. The results showed that 1) the use of the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model could increase the activeness of students in the high category, from 33.33% in the pre-cycle, to 66.67% in the first cycle and 91.67% in the second cycle; 2) the use of the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model can increase the motivation of students in the high category from 41.67% in the pre-cycle, to 75% in the first cycle and 91.67% in the second cycle; 3) the use of the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model can improve the social studies learning outcomes of students who complete the pre-cycle by 33.33%, increase to 75% in the first cycle, and become 100% in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the state of teacher performance in the upper grades of the Gugus Melati Elementary School Korwil Banyuurip in semester 1 of the 2021/2022 academic year. Supervisor observation data obtained by researchers when supervising learning. This type of research is School Action Research (PTS). The data collection method used is using the method of observation, monitoring, questionnaires, and instruments that describe the improvement of teacher learning. Researchers describe teacher performance in the form of a grid to get a picture of the condition of teacher performance both before the implementation of clinical supervision and after clinical supervision of effective learning is carried out. The data of this study were analyzed using a simple quantitative approach with the percentage technique. The results showed: (1) The initial condition of the learning device completeness score was 74.8% with a very good classification reaching 19%. Cycle I score 80.8% with the number of very good classification 23.8%. In the second cycle the score became 86.4 with the number of very good classifications reaching 38.1%. At the end of the third cycle the score was 96.3 with a very good number of 95.2 classifications. (2) The initial condition score of the aspect of the ability to implement learning is 74.8% with a very good classification reaching 0%. Cycle I scored 78% with a very good classification being 14.3%. In the second cycle, the score was 86.4 with the number of very good classifications reaching 38.1%. At the end of the third cycle the score was 89.4% with a very good classification of 85.7%. (3) The initial condition score for learning evaluation ability is 73.18% with a very good classification reaching 0%. Cycle I scored 79.2% with a very good classification of 23.8%. In the second cycle, the score was 83.5% with the number of very good classifications reaching 43.9%. At the end of the third cycle the score was 91.1% with a very good classification of 81.0%.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to: (1) explain the procedures for creating a virtual reality field trip-based learning video in the coastal area of Pacitan Bay for Social Studies class VII for the 2022–2023 academic year; and (2) explain the efficacy of a virtual reality field trip–based learning video in the coastal area of Pacitan Bay for class VII social studies learning at SMP Negeri 2 Punung for the same year. Class VII B and class VII C acted as the experimental and control groups, respectively, in this study, which was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Punung. The five (five) steps of the ADDIE model, which is used in this study, are the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. Participants in this study were teachers who used the materials, experts who validated the content (material experts, media experts, and learning experts), teachers of the FGD (Focus Group Discussion) MGMP Social Sciences Subject, and all students in classes VII B and VII C. Data types, both qualitative and quantitative, employed in studies on the creation of virtual reality video learning medium. The validity and appeal of the learning media are evaluated quantitatively using the results of scoring in the form of percentages, whereas the validity and appeal of the learning media are evaluated qualitatively using questionnaires, assessments, input, responses, criticism, and suggestions from material experts, media experts, learning experts, as well as document tools. teacher, teach. Additionally, in order to assess the effectiveness of using instructional media, researchers also used quantitative data in the form of student test results from the experimental class and the control class. The Paired Sample t-Test was used to test the study's hypothesis. The success of the treatment was determined by the difference between the average value before and after receiving the treatment. The study's findings included two main findings: a) the steps for creating learning media follow the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages (analysis, design, development, implementation, and assessment); and b) the ADDIE model is used to create learning media; and b) The effectiveness of the learning videos that have been created is significant because it is demonstrated by the outcomes of IBM SPSS 25 data processing, which is the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, from which it can be inferred that there is a significant difference between learning outcomes and the creation of virtual reality field trip video learning media on the coast of Pacitan Bay in the Pre Test and Post Test data.
