Abstract

The capacity of drainage can overflow due to inadequate conditions and high rainfall intensity. Several incidents in Bekasi City due to poor drainage resulted in inundation of water on the roads which resulted in damaged roads and flooding in residential areas. Several previous studies have discussed the evaluation of the drainage system using the analytical method hydrology in modeling water discharge. In most cases, the minimum capacity of the drainage canal is caused by the high intensity of rain, so the research focuses on the volume of drainage and the intensity of the rain. However, based on observations and interviews with the cleaning service, it turns out that many drainage channels are in a non-optimal condition, where there is a lot of garbage and sedimentation that hinders the flow of water when it rains. This study combines hydrological analysis modeling with drainage channel conditions whose real time data is obtained by using sensors through the internet of things (IoT). IoT devices have been able to send data well in the cloud, by combining rainfall data and then predictive modeling using RNN LSTM with training model parameters used are two layers and 20 cells with each layer given a Dropout layer with a probability of 10%. In the metric evaluation, four functions are used, namely mean squared error, Mean absolute, Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency and Coefficient of Determination. The model has been able to see the occurrence of an increase or decrease in height and discharge. However, if you look at the results of metric calculations, the predictions generated by the model are not very good.

Abstract

Pondasi merupakan bagian dari struktur bawah (sub structure), mempunyai peranan penting dalam memikul beban struktur atas sebagai akibat dari adanya gaya-gaya yang terjadi pada struktur atas (upper structure) seperti gaya angin, gaya gempa maupun berat struktur itu sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghitung penurunan (settlement) pondasi bored pile dan menghitung kuat dukung pondasi bored pile berdasarkan hasil standar penetration test (SPT). Metode perhitungan untuk menghitung penurunan menggunakan metode Vesic (1970) dan Software Plaxis. Metode perhitungan untuk menghitung kuat dukung pondasi menggunakan metode Meyerhoff (1956), metode Reese & Wright (1977) dan software Plaxis. Berdasarkan perhitungan Vesic (1970) didapat penurunan sebesar 20,83 mm dan pada Software Plaxis didapat penurunan sebesar 12,32 mm. Berdasarkan data SPT yang diperoleh hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode Meyerhoff (1956) Qu sebesar 1627,8 ton, dengan metode Reese & Wright (1977) Qu sebesar 1276,4 ton dan dengan software Plaxis Qu sebesar 1300 ton. Dari hasil perhitungan penurunan didapat software plaxis lebih mendekati hasil axial test dibanding metode Vesic(1970) begitu pula untuk perhitungan daya dukung pondasi metode Reese & Wright (1977) lebih mendekati hasil axial test dibandingkan dengan metode Meyerhoff (1956) dan software plaxis.

Abstract

  Kinesthetic-based physical education learning has a great opportunity to develop multiple intelligences in students at school, Through physical education carried out in schools, it can be used as a tool to help students improve motor skills, health, fitness, character building, personality, discipline and inculcating the values ​​of honesty, cooperation and responsibility. Currently, the reality of teachers in the field does not understand the role of physical education in the educational process, most teachers argue that sport is only for maintaining health and has not yet reached the role of physical education in supporting the development of children's intelligence. The purpose of this study was to see how far the implementation of physical education in improving kinesthetic intelligence in Madrasah Ibtidayyah (MI) Al-Firdaus and MI Yanuri through a management approach. Specifically, this study describes the principles of management theory, including: (1) planning, (2) organizing, (3) implementing, and (4) evaluating physical education and its relationship with kinesthetic intelligence using management theory from GR Terry and Howard Gadner's theory of kinesthetic intelligence. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and data collection by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation studies.

Abstract

The role of private universities in improving quality must accommodate all aspects of the performance of the tri dharma of higher education. The rapid development of higher education institutions must be ready to change. Changes in the global business environment also trigger the increasing intensity of competition between higher education service providers so that each higher education service provider will try to offer high-performance higher education services. This research aims to see how far the implementation of BSC is in improving the performance of private universities. Specifically, this study describes four perspectives, including (1) financial perspective, (2) customer perspective, (3) internal business process perspective (4) learning and growth perspective. They were using the theory of Robert Kaplan and David Norton. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and data collection by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation studies. The research results indicate that the BSC implementation has been applied in a systematic, measurable, and planned manner so that the Vision, Mission, and objectives are achieved. In an implementation, there is a balance between financial and non-financial.

Abstract

Higher education with standards and good academic service management quality is the goal of every university's efforts. In Jambi Province, in particular, good management applied to a university is one of the essential factors in improving the quality of service for students, the community, or the university itself. Not a few universities whose academic service quality still does not meet the satisfaction threshold in the assessment, one of which is offline-based services that will usually hinder the delivery of existing information. The universities of UNAMA (University of Stikom Dinamika Bangsa) and IAI Tebo in Jambi Province are universities whose every delivery of academic information focuses on computers and technology. The advantages and disadvantages of the information system that is run, it is necessary to conduct a study to combine each of the advantages and disadvantages of the two universities. By applying qualitative methods, it is hoped will provide helpful research results. The focus of this research is directed at (1). Planning, (2). Implementation, (3). Evaluation (4). Solutions or follow-ups in improving the quality of academic services at universities using the Deming cycle management theory. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and data collection by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation studies, so it can be concluded that a complete management information system can be applied to other universities, especially those that are still offline.

Abstract

Sawdust waste from the furniture industry should be considered. Nowadays, the increased demand for furniture is in line with the increase in sawdust waste produced. Therefore, it is necessary to make use of sawdust to protect environment. An alternative use is the addition of sawdust as the concrete mixture. Cellulose and hemicellulose compounds are compounds contained in wood powder, where these compounds can provide additional bonding between particles in the cement and sand mixture in concrete. Therefore, concrete can be stronger as well as more water resistant, hence it can be used for a specific purpose in constructions. This study aims to analyze the compressive strength of concrete due to the addition of sawdust as an organic fiber in the concrete mixture with the percentage of 0.25%, 0.50%, 0.75% and 1% as substitution of sand. Organic fibers as additives in concrete are being developed until recently. The proposed concrete was 25 MPa quality. Result showed the increase in the compressive strength of concrete by 0.98% in 1% wood powder mixed at 28 days of concrete age.

Abstract

Rangka atap merupakan salah satu bagian dari struktur atap yang berfungsi untuk melindungi bangunan dari matahari maupun hujan. Material untuk rangka atap pada saat ini telah mengalami perubahan dari kayu ke material yang lebih mudah didapat, ekonomis, lebih ringan dan mudah dalam pemasangan. Baja profil WF (wide flange) salah satu alternatif rangka atap yang banyak digunakan. Berat profil WF yang relatif ringan dengan struktur yang padat menjadikan profil ini banyak digunakan untuk rangka kuda-kuda atap. Analisis ini dilakukan guna mengetahui kekuatan dari struktur kuda–kuda baja profil WF dan sambungannya. Metode analisa yang digunakan adalah metode LRFD yang dilakukan dengan bantuan program SAP 2000 v20 menganalisa konstruksi atap tersebut dan menggunakan bantuan program Idea StatiCa dalam menghitung sambungannya. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, kuda-kuda yang menggunakan profil WF 200.100.5,5.8 ini mampu menahan gaya-gaya yang bekerja pada struktur kuda -kuda tersebut, serta sambungan mencukupi untuk menahan gaya–gaya yang terjadi Kata kunci: Metode LRFD, profil WF, kuda-kuda atap.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Aspal beton adalah campuran dari agregat bergradasi menerus dengan bahan bitumen. Kekuatan utama aspal beton ada pada keadaan butir agregat yang saling mengunci dan sedikit pada pasir / filler / bitumen sebagai mortar.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan serbuk tulang sotong sebagai bahan alternatif pada campuran lapisan aspal beton dapat memenuhi karakteristik Marshall campuran AC-WC. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental yang mengkaji karakteristik marshall pada berbagai persentase penggunaan serbuk tulang sotong dengan kadar 0%, 50% dan 100% sebagai alternatif pengganti pengisi filler. Percobaan serbuk tulang sotong yang memenuhi spesifikasi umum bina marga adalah kadar 50% dengan nilai stabilitas 2.061.87 kg, nilai flow (kelelehan) 6 mm, nilai Marshall Quotient 343.64 kg/mm, nilai VIM volume rongga udara dalam campuran 3.825%, nila VMA (Void Mineral Agregat) 16.494% dan nilai VFB (Void Filled with. Bitumen) 99.230%. Dari hasil penelitian ini ternyata serbuk tulang sotong dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pengisi alternatif filler pada campuran AC-WC untuk jalan raya yang padat dengan persentase kadar bahan sebesar 50%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of Jambi sand and Pontianak sand to the compressive strength ofconcrete. Concrete is a mixture obtained by mixing Portland cement, water and aggregate, which is an additivethat varies greatly from chemical additives. For the construction of roads, bridges, buildings, etc. which are in theconcrete mix. Aggregate is the largest part in the formation of concrete, while cement and water will form a pastethat will bind the aggregate. Concrete is a function of its constituent materials consisting of cement, hydraulic,fine aggregate, water and admixture additives. In this study, there are two types of fine aggregate used, namelyJambi Sand and Pontianak Sand. The quality results of Jambi Sand met the organic standard and test by achievinga result of 3, while the quality of Pontianak Sand on the organic test reached 5, and in terms of specific gravity,Pontianak Sand was better than Jambi Sand. The results of the compressive strength of concrete with Jambi Sandand Pontianak Sand were found to be stronger with Pontianak Sand with an average of 63.60
