Abstract

Jean Baudrillard adalah seorang filsuf Perancis dan salah satu tokoh postmodern terkemuka. Beberapa pemikiran utamanya meliputi sign-value, simulakra, dan hiperrealitas. Pemikiran ini ditulis dalam karya awal Jean Baudrillard yang diterbitkan pada 1968 hingga 1981. Sedangkan karya lainnya yang diterbitkan setelah 1981 ditulis untuk memperkuat pemikiran awalnya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk lebih mengenal Jean Baudrillard dan pemikiran utamanya, terutama pemikirannya mengenai sign-value, simulakra, dan hiperealitas.

Abstract

Istilah subaltern dihadirkan sebagai sinonim kaum proletar. Gayatri Spivak menekankan   pentingnya   melihat   mekanisme hegemonik yang tidak  disadari  mengenai  penggunaan atribut kata subaltern. Mereka berada dalam wacana  hegemonik  yang  berarti  ada  semacam manipulasi secara tidak sadar atas apa yang mereka lakukan. Dalam kajian  teoritis  Spivak,  kelompok  subaltern  adalah  kelompok  yang suaranya selalu direpresentasikan, sementara representasi hanyalah alat untuk menuju dominasi nyata. Oleh karena itu, masyarakat yang tertekan dan terjajah (subaltern), harus berbicara, harus mengambil inisiatif, dan menggelar aksi atas suara mereka yang terbungkam. Karena kekuasaan kolonial terus dipertahankan dalam dan melalui discourse (wacana) yang berbeda-beda. Sebagai kritikus feminis poskolonial Gayatri Spivak terus menerus menantang pemikiran kontemporer Barat dengan menunjukkan betapa wacana-wacana dan praktik-praktik kelembagaan dan budaya dominan telah secara konsisten mengecualikan dan meminggirkan kaum jelata (subaltern), terutama perempuan subaltern. Fokusnya pada sejarah perempuan subaltern dan kritiknya terhadap proyek subaltern telah secara radikal menantang cara identitas politik dikonseptualisasikan dalam banyak pemikiran kontemporer. Penekannya pada kemampuan kaum subaltern untuk berbicara.

Abstract

The Salafist community, which is marginalized from mainstream media in Indonesia, represents the ideology of Salafus Salih through the mediatization of religion. Salafists originally preached traditionally but later utilized radio and television and then websites and social media. This ideological representation through the mediatization of religion increases the number of followers so that they can reproduce social formations to maintain the status quo. For this reason, this study aims to reveal how Salafists represent the conservative ideology of Salafus Salih through the mediatization of religion on Rodjatv's Instagram. Using a critical paradigm and mediatization of religion theory with virtual ethnographic methods, this study explains how the conservative ideology of Salafus Shalih in the mediatization of religion through three media metaphors, media as a channel, language, and environment, is instilled by the Salafi group to its followers. The results revealed that the Salafi da'wah content in Rodja's media interpellated the new Salafis and imitated the religious way of Salafus Salih while creating a large number of communities or congregations. The new Salafi followers then interpellated (re-interpellation) and imitated (reimitation) to the next follower. The series of re-interpellations and limitations ultimately constituted the Salafi da'wah and the ideological congregation of Salafus Salih

Abstract

Citayam Fashion Week is a series of events that present various images of social reality that influence people's way of thinking and behaving. This event is important because it gives youth the opportunity to meet and interact with one another. What attracts people's attention is the unique style of clothing worn by teenagers. Teenagers are looking for an identity, and they can find it by watching and participating in the Citayam Fashion Week event. This study aims to analyze dramaturgy, self-existence in impression management of Citayam Fashion Week adolescents. The paradigm in this study is constructivist, and this study uses a qualitative approach to the "Citayam Fashion Week" phenomenon as a subculture in young people's existence in the SCBD (Sudirman, Citayam, Bojong Gede And Depok). Data collection in this study used observation and in-depth interview techniques to obtain accurate results. The sampling technique used in this study was a combination of nonprobability sampling methods, between purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The research results obtained by the researchers showed that the researchers found differences in the lives of youth when they were on the front stage and when they were backstage. The conclusion is that basically, everyone will do Impression Management according to what they want to show on the frontstage, whether it is very different from life on backstage or there is only a slight difference from what it was on backstage. Teenagers have three different sides where there is a frontstage, a backstage and also transit stage.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to build a model of the communicative constitution of the organization to overcome the problem of differences in plans and develop a travel pattern of thematic visits with the storytelling method to overcome the buildup in Borobudur Temple, Central Java, Indonesia. The type of research used is a quality approach with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study’s results integrated communication and coordination between the Badan Otorita Borobudur and the governing body managing the Borobudur Temple Area. As a solution to the problem, the model of the communicative constitution of the organization integrates goals in the direction of the temple area through communication flows with membership negotiations, self-structuring, coordination of activities in corporate activities, and institutional positions between managers in organization communication activities and coordination. The model of the communicative constitution of the organization will be a solution to integrate the goals of several ministries with different objectives in managing the Borobudur Temple Area.

Abstract

Media sosial merupakan salah satu bentuk dari perkembangan internet, dimana media sosial dikhususkan kepada Instagram. Masa remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari masa kanak-kanak ke masa kehidupan dewasa yang ditandai dengan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan secara biologis maupun psikologis. Selain itu masa remaja terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu masa awal, masa madya, dan masa akhir. Perkembangan remaja pada saat ini disertai dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin hari semakin berkembang sehingga memunculkan fasilitas yang sering digunakan oleh remaja yaitu media sosial. Nurul Azka salah satu remaja yang memanfaatkan Instagram sebagai media untuk erdakwah dengan konten video dakwah komedi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep diri pelajar dalam menggunakan Instagram dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konsep diri positif maupun konsep diri negatif pelajar dalam menggunakan Instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuaalitatif dengan desain studi deskriptif analisis. Data yang diperoleh dari lapangan diperoleh melalui penelitian kepustakaan dan wawancara mendalam terhadap informan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri remaja dalam media sosial Instagram adalah konsep diri positif. Remaja mampu memanfaatkan Instagram dengan baik sehingga memberikan efek positif bagi dirinya. Faktor yang mempengaruhinya adalah diri sendiri dan orang lain dengan memberikan tanda suka (like), komentar positif dan komentar negatif pada foto di Instagram.

Abstract

Film selalu dapat mempengaruhi masyarakat melalui muatan dan bentuk pesan di dalamnya. Media berperan penting untuk hal itu dimana menjadi cantik adalah hal yang instan. Menjadi cantik bagi perempuan adalah suatu kewajiban mutlak namun tanpa di dasari resiko yang menyertai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna pesan di dalam sebuah film yaitu Imperfect. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk untuk mengetahui Bagaimana Pesan Moral Struktur Makro Film Imperfect?, Bagaimana Pesan Moral Superstruktur Film Imperfect dan Bagaimana Pesan Moral Struktur Mikro Film Imperfect?. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi dan observasi. Untuk menganalisi data , penulis menggunakan Analisis Wacana Kritis Teun Van Dijk menjadi tiga tingkatan, yaitu struktur makro,superstruktur dan struktur mikro. Hasil penemuan dalam penelitian ini mengemukakan bahwa analisis struktur makro dalam film Imperfect menguak tentang bagaimana menerima akan diri sendiri apa adanya, manusia terutama Wanita tidak ada yang sempurna. Kemudian analisis Superstruktur mengemukakan untuk fokus dengan diri sendiri, jangan pernah membandingkan diri dengan orang lain. Terakhir adalah analisis Struktur Mikro dalam film Imperfect adalah berusaha menerima apa yang sudah menjadi takdir kita.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang budaya adat bugis makasar yang di representasikan dalam film Tarung Sarung. Sigajang laleng Lipa merupakan sebuah tradisi dalam menyelesiakan suatu masalah. Dua perwakilan yang bertikai akan meyelesaikan masalah saling tikam dalam sebuah sarung. Cara ini adalah cara paling terakhir apabila musyawarah mufakat tidak menemui titik terang. Orang bugis meyakini apabila badik telah keluar dari sarungnya, pantang di selip dipinggang sebelum terhujam di tubuh lawan. Beraangkat dari permasalahn tersebut maka penelitian in bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi simbol-simbol Sigajang Laleng Lipa dalam film Tarung Sarung. Untuk memahami fenomena tersebut peneliti menggunakan kajian semiotika dari perspektif Roland Barthes, yakni mengetahui Petanda (makna konotatif), Penanda (makna denotative), dan Mitos (cerita dibalik makna) yang mempresentasikan dalam film Tarung Sarung tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian di temukan bahwa dalam film Tarung Sarung representasi Sigajang Laleng Lipa  adalah simbol adat Bugis Makassar dalam menyelesaikan. Abstract

This study discusses the proclamation and words (sabda and dawuh) of Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X (HBX) regarding the appointment of the Crown Princess. This study aims to investigate and analyze the power, authority, and legitimacy of the proclamation and statements of Sri Sultan HBX in the cultural context of the people of Yogyakarta. Max Weber's Theory of Power, Authority, and Legitimacy is used as a guide in conducting research. This study uses a qualitative approach with a focus on cultural perspectives involving Yogyakarta residents as the main source of information. The findings of this study contribute to a broader understanding of political, power and cultural dynamics in the context of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta

Abstract

The conflict that occurred between Indonesia and Timor-Leste (Timor Timur) after the Popular Consultation was a conflict of power or a power struggle. This power struggle resulted in gross human rights violations. To resolve this conflict, in 2005 the Indonesian Timor-Leste Truth and Friendship Commission (KKP) was formed. Researchers assume that language can be used in conflict resolution. So the aims of this study are (1) to reveal the meaning of the text in Per Memoriam Ad Spem in constructing human rights violations in Timor-Leste in 1999, before and after the Popular Consultation. (2) Explaining the power of language in the construction of reports on human rights violations and conflict resolution in Per Memoriam Ad Spem, so that an agreement is reached that should not be forgiven to be forgiven. Van Dijk's discourse theory, Derrida's theory of deconstruction, and Bourdieu's theory of language & power, all three are related to language and power. These three theories are used as a basis for dissecting the phenomenon of this research. This study uses a critical constructionism paradigm, a type of qualitative research, and an interpretive approach. The findings of this study are that the strength of the Indonesian language as the primary working language has a very extraordinary impact. Textually, in the macro, meso, and micro dimensions, through language, political communication has been constructed which leads to the establishment of reconciliation between parties in power, which should deconstruct human rights violations. The parties with their power discourse can melt down, so that gross violations of human rights, which should not be forgiven, become forgiven. This is in line with Derrida's idea of true forgiveness or unconditional forgiveness, namely forgiving the unforgivable
