Abstract

Desa Gintungan merupakan desa yang sebagian besar penduduknya mata pencahariannya sebagai petani palawija dan perkebunan tebu. Menurut (Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Lamongan, 2007) Desa Gintungan terletak pada ketinggian 35m dpl dengan suhu rata-rata 230C-320C dan curah hujan rata-rata 410mm/tahun. Petani tebu di desa ini sebagian besar masih belum menerapkan budidaya secara sempurna. Penggunaan bibit tebu pada umumnya diambil budidaya tanaman tebu sebelumnya dan menggunakan sistem bagal sehingga bibit yang dibutuhkan semakin banyak dan hasil yang didapatkan tergolong sangat rendah. Dengan demikian maka perlu adanya sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang pengenalan pembuatan bibit yang dianggap sebagai trobosan baru untuk meningkatkan produktifitas tanaman tebu. Teknologi budidaya tanaman tebu yang belum dikenal oleh petani adalah penggunaan bibit tebu asal bagal satu mata tunas. Petani tebu biasanya menanam tebu dengan menggunakan bibit bagal dengan 3-4 mata tunas, sehingga untuk penanaman membutuhkan bibit yang banyak. Dengan penggunaan bibit mata tunas yang banyak biasanya bibit tidak bisa tumbuh 100% karena posisi mata tunas tidak sejajar sehingga ada mata tunas yang menghadap ke arah tanah dan tidak bisa tumbuh sempurna. Penggunaan bibit tebu dengan satu mata tunas ini dianggap sebagai alternatif yang sangat efektif dan efisien bagi petani. Dengan menggunakan bibit jenis ini maka kebutuhan bibit untuk budidaya tebu semakin sedikit tetapi dengan bagal mata tunas satu dan metode penanaman yang benar maka bibit tebu tersebut yang ditanam akan tumbuh 100%.

Abstract

Community service activities are the implementation of the practice of science, technology and cultural arts directly in the community as a dissemination of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and noble responsibilities in an effort to develop community capabilities, so as to accelerate the growth rate of achieving national development goals. The problem that exists in the foundation is that there is no independent effort and only expects donations from donors so that this service aims to provide input and help the Fadhilah Gresik Princess Orphans Foundation in seeking other funding income in managing the Foundation's operations. The implementation will use the method of giving lectures and direct training to administrators and orphans in learning to make handicrafts, and the training participants are administrators and female orphans with a total of 40 participants. The results of community service have been able to provide entrepreneurial motivation independently which is received with a good response, , and have been able to develop the potential of the Fadhilah Gresik Yatim Putri Foundation through handicrafts from Kur and Knitting ropes with real product results, and can provide solutions to income problems. Operational funds, by selling the handicrafts produced, through direct sales through online social media sales, so that later the Fadhilah Gresik Princess Orphans Foundation, can get income other than donors.

Abstract

Sugar productivity decreased in 2015-2016 by 11.76% and reached the lowest productivity in 2017 of 4,985 kg/ha White Crystal Sugar (GKP). The reason could be due to the presence of several types of sugarcane that experienced a decrease in yield during cultivation, such as nutrient deficiencies which resulted in divergent sugarcane plant height. Then the low sugarcane juice contained in sugarcane plants also affected production results. This study aimed to determine the growth and yield performance of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) clones SB01, SB04, SB19, SB20. This research was conducted in the garden of the Center for Sugarcane Research and Development (P3T) Faculty of Agriculture, University of Muhammadiyah Gresik, PG GEMPOLKREP and PT Perkebunan Nusantara X (PTPN X). Sumobito District, Jombang Regency from March to June 2021. Materials for observations used clones SB 01, clones SB 04, clones SB 19, and clones SB 20. The variables observed were sugarcane shoots, sugar cane stalks, and sugarcane leaves. Data analysis used descriptive analytical, variability and heritability.

Abstract

The productivity of sugarcane in Indonesia is still decreasing due to the low value of crystal produced per hectare. One of the main and fundamental factors is the limited availability of superior varieties. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in growth andyield of clones SB01, SB03 clones, SB04 clones, SB11 clones, SB12 clones, SB19 clones andSB20 clones as well as sugarcane clones that had the best growth. This study used a randomized block design with one factor, namely sugarcane clones SB01, SB3 clones, SB04 clones, SB011 clones, SB12 clones, SB19 clones, SB20 clones. Each replication consisted of 7 sugarcane clones. Which was repeated three times with observation variables which included growth andyield variables. The data were then analyzed using ANOVA variance. If there is a significant difference, continue with the 5% BNT test. There were significant differences between seven sugarcane clones in growth andyield variables in sugarcane. Of the seven clones observed, clone SB12 had good vegetative andgenerative potential with the highestyield of160.67 tons/ha, clone SB01 had the highestyield potential, 11.3% and clone SB01 had the highest crystallizationpotential. namely with a value of 17.6 tons/ha.

Abstract

Sweet corn is the second source of carbohydrates after rice. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Defoliation technique and variations in NPK 16:16:16 doses so as to increase the growth and yield of sweet corn plants. The research was conducted at the Hollywood Experimental Field, Klangonan Village. The time for conducting the research was from August to October 2022. The tools needed during the research included: sickle, machete, hoe, tape measure, ruler, raffia rope, bucket, cellphone, brix and stationery. While the materials needed include: sweet corn seeds, NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer. Two-factor Randomized Block Design (RBD), namely the defoliation technique on sweet corn plants and the application of Pearl NPK fertilizer. The first factor is the defoliation technique (D) and the second factor is Pearl NPK fertilization (P) resulting in 3 levels. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to get 27 experimental units. If the results are significantly different (F Count > F table) then the analysis is continued by using the BNT test at the 5% level. From the results of the study there were significant differences in the application of the defoliation technique and the application of NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer to sweet corn.

Abstract

Identification of plants is a process of identifying plants to find out the types of plants in detail and complete and scientifically justifiable. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in characterization of 8 sugarcane clones and sugarcane clones that had good growth. The research was carried out at the Muhammadiyah Gresik Hollywood University Experimental Garden, Klangonan Village, Gresik at an altitude of 56 meters above sea level (masl). The time for conducting the research was from April to July 2022. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with one factor, namely 8 types ofclones including: Clones SB27,SB28,SB30,SB31,SB32,SB33, SB34, SB Green,SB200. Each treatment plot clone was repeated 3 times so that there were 27 trial plots. Data analysis used ANOVA with a 5% F test. If there is a significant difference, proceed with 5% DMRT analysis, correlation test, heritability. Morphological data was processed by analyzing plant descriptions. The high category of heritability and genetic progress was seen in the stem height (20.55%), cane weight (41.45%), and the brix value was moderately high (5.92%)

Abstract

Sugar production has decreased due to the fertilization method. One solution is to apply the proper dose of fertilization. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of various doses of foliar fertilizer on the growth and yield of the JR 01 variety at the age of 7 months burned in Gresik Regency. This study used a Randomized Block Design with one factor, namely P0 (control), P1 (cow urine fertilizer 20 ml/liter), P2 (cow urine fertilizer 40 ml/liter), P3 (cow urine fertilizer 60 ml/liter), P4 (Petrovita fertilizer 3 ml/liter), P5 (Petrovita fertilizer 6 ml/liter), and P6 (Petrovita fertilizer 9 ml/liter). Each was repeated four times so that there were 28 experimental units with observation variables, including growth variables (increase in stem height, stem diameter, number of stems, number of segments, number of tillers) and yield variables (Brix, yield, weight per cane stalk (g plant-1) and weight per cane stalk (t ha-1). Observational data were then analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). If there was a significant difference, proceed with the Least Significant Difference test (LSD) 5% and correlation test. In the growth variable, the highest significant differences were between ages 44, 46, and 48 weeks after planting (WAP) and the use of cow urine fertilizer on the variable number of tillers. While in the yield variable, there was the highest significant difference at the age of 44 WAP using petrovita fertilizer on the Brix and yield variables. There was a significant correlation with a very strong and unidirectional relationship between the growth and yield variables. Effective treatment in increasing growth in the number of tillers, namely P2 (cow urine fertilizer 40 ml/liter), effective therapy in increasing Brix yield, and the yield is P5 (Petrovita fertilizer 6 ml/liter).

Abstract

Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) as a raw material in the sugar production process is one of the basic needs of the Indonesian population. This research was conducted at the HGU Plantation C.11 Djengkol PG Islamic Boarding School, the new PT Perkebunan Nusantara X. Ploso Klaten District, Kediri Regency. This research was conducted from May to July 2023. This design used a one-factor randomized block design (RBD) of 9 treatments, consisting of 7 sugarcane clones and 2 sugarcane varieties consisting of K1 (Clone SB01 UMG.NX), K2 (Clone SB03 UMG.NX), K3 (Clone SB04 UMG.NX), K4 (Clone SB11 UMG.NX), K5 Clones (SB12 UMG.NX), K 6 (Clone SB19 UMG.NX), K7 (Clone SB20 UMG.NX), K8 (Variety PS862), K9 (Variety Bululawang). The parameters observed were growth variables (stem length, number of stems, number of leaves and diameter) and yield (brix). The analysis used was descriptive statistics, ANOVA followed by 5% DMRT follow-up test, correlation test, genetic diversity and heritability test. From the 5% DMRT results, there is a significant difference in the variables of plant height and diameter of the sugar cane plant. Clone SB12 UMG.NX had the best growth with a stem length of 257.33 cm, number of stems 8.33, number of leaves 8.22 and a diameter of 26.22 mm. There is no significant difference in the outcome variables. The highest Brix was obtained by the SB19 UMG clone. NX with a value of 27.00%.

Abstract

Sorgum manis (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) merupakan salah satu tanaman serealia yang berprospek untuk dikembangkan sebagai bahan baku bioetanol, penghasil gula, pangan dan pakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk majemuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tiga varietas tanaman sorgum manis (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan tegalan Dusun Wonosari Kecamatan Benjeng pada bulan Mei - Agustus 2020, menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok fakorial dengan faktor utama varietas yang terdiri atas 3 taraf: Numbu (V1), Bioguma 3 Agritan (V2), Samurai 2 (V3), dan faktor kedua dosis pupuk majemuk NPK yang terdiri atas 3 taraf : 0 kg/ha (P0), 60 kg/ha (P1), dan 120 kg/ha (P2). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga terdapat 27 satuan percobaan. Variabel yang diamati ialah jumlah daun, luas daun, tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, brix sebelum dan saat panen, bobot basah batang, bobot basah daun, jumlah anak malai, jumlah biji permalai, bobot kering biji permalai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan varietas berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun, luas daun, tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, brix sebelum panen, bobot basah daun, dan jumlah biji permalai. Perlakuan dosis pupuk berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun, luas daun, tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, brix sebelum panen, bobot basah batang, dan bobot kering biji permalai. Interaksi keduanya berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, brix saat panen, dan bobot basah batang. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh yaitu hasil tertinggi variabel tinggi tanaman ditunjukkan oleh V2P2, hasil tertinggi variabel diameter batang dan brix saat panen ditunjukkan oleh V3P2, sementara hasil tertinggi variabel bobot basah batang ditunjukkan oleh V1P2.

Abstract

Tebu merupakan tanaman penghasil gula yang menjadi salah satu sumber karbohidrat yang kebutuhannya terus meningkat seiring dengan pertambahan penduduk namun tidak diimbangi dengan produksi gula dalam negeri. Upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi adalah dengan penggunaan pupuk organic. Pupuk organik cair merupakan pupuk organik multiguna dapat digunakan untuk sektor pertanian, perkebunan, peternakan dan perikanan. Pupuk organik ini terbuat dari limbah ternak dan unggas, limbah alam dan tanaman dan beberapa jenis tanaman tertentu serta “ zat-zat alami tertentu” yang diproses secara alamiah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Split plot dengan 7 perlakuan, yaitu klon K1 (Klon 33), K2 (Klon 34), K3 (Klon 04), K4 (Klon 19), K5 (Klon 20), K6 (Klon 11), K7 (Klon 01) dengan ulangan 3 kali. Masingmasing ulangan terdiri dari 7 klon tebu. Sehingga data penelitian terdiri 21 perlakuan. Dari data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam taraf siginfikasi 5%. Uji lanjut BNT 5%. Pemberian perlakuan Kontrol (tanpa pupuk), pemberian pupuk organik cair 100 l/ha dan pemberian pupuk organic cair 200 l/ha menujukkan bahwa tidak berpengaruh nyata pada umur pengamatan. Pertumbuhan klon hasil persilangan yang terbaik dari panjang tanaman, jumlah daun dan jumlah ruas menunjukkan bahwa varietas V2 (Varietas Klon SB 34) adalah yang terbaik. Dari diameter batang menunjukkan bahwa varietas V4 (Varietas Klon SB 19) adalah yang terbaik. Dari panjang ruas menunjukkan bahwa varietas V1 (Varietas Klon SB 33) adalah yang terbaik. Dari jumlah anakan menunjukkan bahwa varietas V6 (Varietas Klon SB 11)adalah yang terbaik.
