Abstract

Penggunaan modem untuk internet pada saat ini cukup luas namun penerimaan kuat sinyalnya masih banyak yang lemah karena terletak didaerah lembah (cekungan) atau jauh dari BTS (Base Transciever Station) untuk itu diperlukan antena luar. Pada penelitian ini dibuat rancang bangun antena untuk modem, dan dihasilkan peningkatkan sinyal penerimaan modem untuk operator A sebesar 20,2 dBm = 104,7152 mW dan untuk operator B sebesar 20,86 dBm = 121,92051 mW dengan penambahan antena luar, sehingga penggunaan internet dapat kontinyu.

Abstract

Sangkar Faraday atau tameng Faraday adalah sebuah ruang tertutup yang terbuat dari bahan-bahan penghantar listrik. Ruangan itu mampu merintangi gelombang elektromagnet eksternal. Gelombang elektromagnetik eksternal akan terserap bahan yang konduktif untuk disalurkan ke bumi. Salah satu cara membuat sangkar faraday adalah memanfaatkan teralis. Dalam penelitian ini memanfaatkan teralis sebagai sangkar faraday. Hasil penelitian tersebut adalah redaman teralis – 7,35dBm dan Efektifitas perisai teralis sebesar SE = 7.348796 dBW dan SE = 7.348654 dBV

Abstract

Penggunaan telepon seluler sangat bermanfaat namun pada kondisi dan situasi tertentu menjadi sangat mengganggu bagi khalayak umum seperti ruang ujian, rapat, tempat ibadah, dan tempat- tempat lain yang mengharuskan tidak ada penggunaan telepon seluler. Pada penelitian ini dibahas penyelesaian masalah tersebut dengan menonaktifkan sinyal telepon seluler secara langsung pada lingkup jarak tertentu pada area tidak diperkenankan ada penggunaan telepon seluler. Metode yang digunakan untuk penyelesaian tersebut salah satunya adalah menggunakan Jammer, yaitu perangkat yang memancarkan sinyal penuh noise pada band frekuensi sama dengan telepon seluler yaitu pada tugas akhir ini ialah band frekuensi CDMA800, GSM900 dan GSM1800(DCS) sehingga telepon seluler tidak dapat digunakan pada lingkup area jammer tersebut, penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari sumber referensi, diskusi, percobaan dan pengujian. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan manfaat dari penggunaan jammer untuk menonaktifkan sinyal telepon seluler pada situasi dan kondisi tertentu ketika penggunaan telepon seluler tidak diperkenankan

Abstract

This paper investigates the comparative performance of linear precoding schemes. The linear precoding schemes are including block diagonalization (BD), zero forcing (ZF), and maximum ratio transmission (MRT) in downlink multi-user MIMO. This work delivers the performance of linear precoding in term of achievable sum rate and bit error rate (BER) with a variation of the signal to noise ratio (SNR) and the number of transmitter-receiver antennas. We suppose that the transmitters have a complete channel state information. The results show that the MRT precoding yields better bit error rate than both the BD and ZF precoding schemes. However, the ZF precoding generates better achievable sum rate than the MRT precoding. In the other side, the MRT precoding also outperforms when the number of active users is bigger than Kcross while the number of active users is less than Kcross the ZF precoding is still dominant.

Abstract

Access to the Internet, as well as Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in general, is nowincreasingly needed by the wider community, including by the pesantren community. The community of pesantren needInternet media to expand access to sources of knowledge, publish the activities of pesantren, as well as a medium ofpesantren da?wah in cyberspace. Due to the lack of use of ICT in pesantren, then not all ICT components can be utilized.This community service partner is Pesantren Yasin Kudus, who wants to apply ICT to support learning for students(called santri), by providing smooth and healthy Internet access at affordable cost. The problem faced is Internet accessthat only depends on one Internet Service Provider (ISP), so if the connection on the ISP is failed then Internet accessbecomes disturbed. The solution offered is the use of two ISP connections as an Internet access network, by applying loadbalancing technology using Per Connection Classifier (PCC) method so that loading of traffic on both ISPs can bebalanced. With this program, partners can utilize Internet access from both ISPs optimally

Abstract

Jomblang Village is one of the villages in Candisari sub-district, Semarang city. Jomblang Village has an area of ??± 108 Ha and has a population of 17,322 people, has 15 RWs and 120 RTs. Activities that have been developed in Kelurahan Jomblang include catfish fattening, packaging screen printing, waste processing and catering including tempe craftsmen, tofu into chips. The activity carried out is an initiative of the local community, which is carried out with affordable capital and can be done by residents on the sidelines of free time which can be used as a side job. In this service, PKK mothers in RW V, Jomblang sub-district, Candisari subdistrict, Semarang has conducted training in the form of knitting skills and making simple knitting bags, followed by mentoring on how to market their products digitally (via the internet). The completion of community service is expected to make it easier for mothers to sell their knitting products and increase their product sales to the community through IoT technology so that it can improve the family economy.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian adalah untuk memberikan bantuan teknis kepada Koperasi Pengusaha Batik Setono dalam pengelolaan memperluas pemasaran Pasar Grosir Setono yang berlokasi di Jl. Dr.Sutomo, kota Pekalongan. Selama ini pemasaran dari batik Setono masih bersifat tradisional melalui jasa penjualan di lokasi grosir. Dalam upaya meningkatkan penjualan diperlukan pemasaran yang lebih luas memalui sebuah media pemasaran yaitu website. Website yang dikelola berupa website e-commerce untuk memperkenalkan dan menjual hasil produk batik. Transaksi produk, pelayanan nasabah, fitur lain dapat dilakukan melalui website tersebut. Dengan pemanfaatan e-commerce diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil penjualan sekaligus memperluas pasar batik Setono ke dunia internasional.

Abstract

 This paper presented the performance of faded channel estimation method on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-multiple input multiple outputs (OFDM-MIMO) i.e. least squares (LS) and minimum mean squared error (MMSE). Channel impuls response (CIR) was  required to overcome the intersymbol interference (ISI). Channel impuls response information was obtained from channel estimation processing. Iterance simulation used monte-carlo technique to determine the performance of bit error rate (BER) and mean squared error (MSE). Simulation results show that the mean squared error performance on MIMO system was better than the SISO system. On MMSE channel estimation, the MIMO 2Tx-2Rx system provided ± 2 dB improvement that compared to SISO system at value of MSE 10-2.Furthermore,MIMO 3Tx-2Rx produce improvement about 1.5 dB, MIMO 4Tx-2Rx improve about 3.5 dB at BER 10-4,respectively.The MIMO 2Tx-2Rx system, MMSE channel estimation produced better performance ± 1 dB than LS channel estimation with sufficient SNR value for MSE 10-2 .Pilot arrangement, the simulation results show that the block type-pilot arrangement produced better performance than the comb type-pilot arrangement at fast fading channel. Block type-pilot arrangement system produced better ± 10 dB than the comb type-pilot arrangement with MMSE method at value of BER 2 10-2.

Abstract

Purbalingga Regency Government policy to include exhaust pipe as one of the region's leading commodities is considered as one finest step. Various types of motor vehicle are produced and as a result small industry engaged in motor vehicle spare parts are emerging, including exhaust parts. The choice of technology with the metal industry, especially the exhaust in Purbalingga aims to improve the competitiveness of regional superior competency-based industries, namely revitalizing the industrial sector in order to exist and be able to develop, and be able to transfer technology about improving exhaust quality which has an impact on increasing the exhaust industry's income. The exhaust products from SMEs have exclusivity in the tip of exhaust pipe that is coated with metal, thus improve the appearance and quality of the exhaust. But the exhaust product with a variety of metal coated parts turned out to be incompatible with industry standards, which consequently the quality of the results of the dull metal coating process, easy to peel and rusty. For this reason, Semarang State Polytechnic implements rectifier equipment for metal coating. The methods used were the founding of an Institution Forum for the Purbalingga Exhaust Cluster Association, metal coating technique training for workers, operating tests, operational procedures and operational assistance. The results obtained are rectifiers for metal coating with current outputs of 10 A, 20 A, 30 A, 40 A, 50 A.
