Abstract

This research aims to describe the procedure of handling group check in guests wnd the barriers Each staff would like to give best service to guests including bell boy staff in Conrad Bali Resort and Spa is one of the hotels in Nusa Dua, Bali t. Satisfying service to guests shows employee professionalism in service to guests. In serving guests the check in bell boy group has an important role in achieving first-time guest satisfaction. As a Bell Boy staff handling items is very important because guest goods contain very valuable things and must be sent according to the room number that the guest has received and in accordance with standard operational procedures. Not only delivering goods, a bell boy can promote hotels and sell facilities owned. The author conducted research at Conrad Bali Resort and Spa with qualitative descriptive analysis. The author finds that the oprational procedure standard in handling the guests' luggage is checked in, a bell boy is very influential in working as a reference in implementing the bell boy according to his duties and responsibilities. A bell boy works based on operational standard procedures but in its implementation without following step by step the rules exist on the grounds that the situation and conditions when we serve goods and guests get constraints such as items that very much make goods late and guests assume they have lost their goods The bell boy must identify the item and lack professionalism in handling goods reduces the risk of errors that occur. In accordance with the management's research or supervisor will provide training to a bell boy and always monitor the service of a bell boy, with the aim of the bell boy staff knowing the importance of operational standard procedures to maintain the quality of service at Conrad Bali Resort and Spa.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the existing tourist attractions in Sindhu Beach, starting from the internal aspects (strengths and weaknesses) and external aspects (opportunities and threats) and then formulates directions for optimizing the attractiveness of eco-marine tourism in an appropriate planning and strategy for Sindhu Beach to be an alternative to artificial nature tourism in Sanur Village. The method used is qualitative observational technic with SWOT Analysis to find out relevant strategies. From the analysis it can be seen that the general condition such as attractions, amenities, accessibility and additional services at Sindhu Beach.Eco Bahari is not well-developed yet. But the potency is still open wide to be eco-marine tourism spot based on internal and external factor especially the attraction side. Then the strategies that might be applied are (1) attractions optimalisation with turtle preservation nearby to educate visitors of environmental caring, (2) sharing information to local community about the eco-marine potency to add more beach value for people around, and (3) promote the beauty of Sindhu beach in social media so everybody know it well and attract them to visit it then

Abstract

Air bagi masyarakat Bali adalah sesuatu yang sangat penting, tidak hanya sekedar jenis mineral di dunia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup manusia sehari hari (profan), melainkan sesuatu yang ‘hidup’, yang memberikan dampak bagi kehidupan manusia dari berbagai aspek kehidupan. Terlebih lagi masyarakat Bali yang menganut prinsip Tri Hita Karana yang telah mendarah daging dari dahulu kala. Air kini tid ak hanya dianggap sebagai pemenuh kebutuhan pokok manusia, tapi juga berfungsi sebagai penjernih, bahkan penyucian batin orang Bali, atau sering disebut dengan Tirtha. Proses untuk penyucian batin orang Bali dengan media air suci ini menempatkan sumber mata air suci (beji) ini tidak hanya menjadi kawasan suci untuk umat Hindu, tapi menjelma menjadi daya tarik wisata populer yang dikunjungi wisatawan nusantara tapi juga wisatawan mancanegara. Salah satu mata air suci/beji yang perlu menjadi perhatian untuk diteliti adalah Beji Sempuana. Beji ini air sucinya dimanfaatkan masyarakat Desa setempat, tapi juga warga Desa Kerobokan Utara,sebelum memulai suatu upacara Agama Hindu seperti Piodalan di areal Pura Dalem Nataran Tegal Jaya, Dalung ataupun Ngerit (pembakaran mayat secara masal). Selain itu, di lokasi ini juga terdapat relief pahatan batu besar di dinding sungai yang sudah ada sejak zaman dahulu, sehingga Pemerintah Kabupaten Badung menempatkannya menjadi kawasan cagar budaya. Secara geografis, beji ini terdapat di sempadan Sungai/Tukad Sempuana yang perlu diamankan dari pencemaran lingkungan, akibat alih fungsi lahan di Desa Dalung dan sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian, yaitu observasi ke obyek penelitian, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada tokoh masyarakat dan warga setempat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Deskriptif Kualitatif, yaitu memberikan ulasan interpretasi atau makna terhadap data dan informasi yang diperoleh. Sehingga menghasilkan beberapa strategi umum (Grand Strategy) pengembangan di lokasi dengan menggunakan SWOT Analisis. Maka itu, dipandang penting identifikasi potensi dan ditemukan strategi pengembangannya untuk dijadikan daya tarik wisata terkemuka dan aman pada masa pandemic corona 19 ini, tidak hanya untuk masyarakat Desa Dalung, tapi juga untuk masyarakat luas. Abstract

Upacara Nedunin Dewa Nini di Desa Adat Padang Luwih Dalung, diperkirakan sudah ada sejak zaman Kerajaan Mengwi dahulu. Upacara unik yang sarat dengan unsur budaya dan sejarah agraris ini memiliki makna rasa syukur atas hasil panen yang melimpah dari desa adat setempat kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dalam manifestasinya sebagai Dewa Nini (Dewi Sri). Prosesi utama upacara Nedunin Dewa Nini dilakukan oleh masyarakat adat Padang Luwih Dalung selama 3 hari berturutturut, dimulai dari sehari sebelum Bulan Purnama ke-10 sampai dengan sehari setelah Bulan Purnama ke-10 dalam penanggalan Hindu Bali. Prosesi tersebut diawali dengan pembuatan Dewa Nini sendiri di rumah masing-masing warga, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sehari menjelang Bulan Purnama dengan prosesi Mepeed, Mesoda di Pura Desa/Puseh diiringi gamelan tradisional Bali dan lagu-lagu sakral (Mekidung). Sesampainya di Pura Desa diadakan persembahyangan bersama dan prosesi lainnya. Keesokan harinya yaitu bertepatan dengan Hari Bulan Purnama Kedase (Purnama ke 10 dalam perhitungan Bali), merupakan puncak upacara. Diadakan acara pependetan , yaitu tarian sacral, ilen ilen tetoyan hingga persembahyangan bersama yang dimulai jam 19: 00 Wita hingga selesai. Pada hari ke-3 Dewa Nini ini dibawa kembali ke rumah masing-masing warga dan disimpan di lumbung (Jineng) atau dapur. Pelestarian dan pengembangan upacara ini menjadi daya tarik wisata budaya unggulan menggunakan analisis SWOT dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, Nedunin Dewa Nini berpotensi dikemas menjadi sebuah paket wisata budaya yang melibatkan wisatawan dalam prosesi dan dikaitkan dengan upacara budaya lainnya serta wisata kuliner Bali tanpa mengurangi kelancaran dan kesucian upacara tersebut. Diharapkan warga desa memiliki kesempatan untuk menjadi pengusaha dengan bertindak sebagai penyelenggara upacara dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas yang tersedia di lokasi seperti balai serbaguna (wantilan) untuk menyajikan makanan khas Bali. Adanya upacara ini juga dikaitkan dengan atraksi budaya lain yang ada di desa Dalung dengan membuat jalur trekking menuju Taman Beji Sempuana dengan melewati persawahan yang hijau di Desa Dalung. Pengembangan Upacara Nedunin Dewa Nini menjadi penting karena kehadiran upacara menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan perubahan tata guna lahan yang tinggi di lokasi. Abstract

Perkembangan industri pariwisata yang semakin meningkat di dunia, membuat para investor dan pelaku usaha pariwisata memperkuat usahanya, seperti bisnis restoran dan perhotelan. Hotel adalah salah satu akomodasi yang dibutuhkan wisatawan sebagai tempat tinggal sementara selama perjalanan. Menghadapi persaingan yang semakin ketat, berbagai upaya dilakukan oleh masing-masing hotel, seperti menambah fasilitas yang lebih lengkap, memperbaiki gedung, menambah daftar menu makanan dan meningkatkan standar pelayanan, mulai dari departemen front office, departemen housekeeping dan departemen food and beverage. Guest Relation Officer Grand Club merupakan salah satu bagian dalam departemen front office yang memiliki tugas dan bertanggung jawab untuk memberikan kenyamanan kepada tamu dan menyediakan informasi yang diinginkan tamu, Guest Relation Officer Grand Club dituntut untuk selalu bertindak efektif dalam melayani tamu hotel. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yaitu metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hal yang dialami oleh objek penelitian seperti perilaku, persepsi, motivasi, tindakan dan lain-lain secara holistik dengan cara deskriptif dalam bentuk kata-kata dan bahasa, pada suatu konteks yang alamiah dan dengan memanfaatkan berbagai metode ilmiah. Teknik pengumpulan data selama penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Hotel Grand Hyatt Bali selama 6 bulan. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini adalah Guest Relation Officer Grand Club memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam sebuah hotel untuk menghasilkan kenyamanan, keamanan dan pelayanan yang baik bagi para tamu. Bahkan Guest Relation Officer Grand Club harus menjalin kerjasama dengan travel agent, agar ketika Guest Relation Officer Grand Club berinteraksi, mereka akan menawarkan paket wisata dan membuat tamu merasa diperhatikan. Abstract

A tourism village is a community consisting of residents of a limited area who can interact directly with each other under management and have awareness and awareness to play a role together by adapting different individual skills. Tourism villages are formed to realize the community so that they can act as direct actors in an effort to increase readiness and awareness in responding to tourism potential or tourist attractions in the area of each village. This study aims to formulate a development strategy for the tourism village of Aan as a tourism destination in Klungkung. Aan Village has enormous potential but faces a number of obstacles in its development. This is indicated by the diversity of tourism potentials originating from nature, culture and man-made tourist attractions. The research was conducted through a qualitative descriptive analysis using SWOT analysis to find strategies for developing the potential of the Aan tourism village and tourism area life cycle analysis. Data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation and literature study. Retrieval of informants was done by purposive sampling. The results of the study show that to maximize the development of the attractiveness of Aan Village as a tourist destination, it is necessary to develop strategies and programs such as community empowerment, development of supporting infrastructure, and collaboration with stakeholders and the private sector in creating sustainable programs

Abstract

Puri Dajuma Beach-Eco Resort & SPA is one of the tourism industries that is engaged in resort accommodation and services. This study aims to know partially between the work environment (X1) on employee performance (Y) in Puri Dajuma Beach- Eco Resort & SPA, the partial effect between motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y) at Puri Dajuma Beach-Eco Resort & SP And the simultaneous influence between work environment (X1) and motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y) at Puri Dajuma Beach-Eco Resort & SPA. In this study data collection used a questionnaire distributed to 51 respondents or the number of samples used in this study was 51 people. Processing data in this study using SPSS 22.0 for Windows and Excel software with multiple linear analysis techniques with the results of research that the work environment (X1) partially influences the performance of employees in Puri Dajuma Beach-Eco Resort & SP. The result is t count = 4.171> t table = 2.011 , then for the motivation variable (X2) the result of tcount = 2.483> t table = 2.011 means that the hypothesis is accepted and there is a partial effect between motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y). While based on the F-test, the results of Fcount = 21.086>Ftable = 3.19, means that there is a simultaneous influence between work environment (X1) and motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y) at Puri Dajuma Beach-Eco Resort & SPA.

Abstract

Cultural Tourism Attractions are spread throughout Indonesia, including on the island of Lombok. These tourist attractions contain religious and cultural values which are reflected in the activities of the local community. We must preserve these religious and cultural values in the midst of globalization. Balinese culture, which breathes Hinduism, which has become a tourist attraction, has also been carried over to West Nusa Tenggara Province, especially on the island of Lombok, since ancient times. This form of culture, in the form of the Ngusaba Gumang Ceremony, is considered necessary to be preserved for the sake of realizing sustainable tourism. The location of the ceremony is located in Golong Village, which is quite close to the tourist destinations of Narmada Park, Suranadi Temple, and the famous Golong Golf Course in West Nusa Tenggara but not yet known to tourists. Based on the stages of development, the Ngusaba Gumang ceremony as a cultural tourism attraction is at the Exploration stage. This stage is characterized by limited and sporadic visits from adventurous people. There was intensivecontact with local residents and using facilities owned by residents with very little social and economic impact. Data analysis techniques used in this study include: Qualitative Descriptive Methods and SWOT analysis. From the results of the SWOT analysis above, it can be concluded that the Ngusaba Gumang Ceremony has the potential to continue to be developed as a leading cultural tourist attraction in West Lombok Regency with advantages in cultural and historical tourist attractions with the existence of this ceremony which is associated with various other tourism activities. As for other activities that can be associated with the Ngusaba Gumang Ceremony, such as culinary tours and spiritual tours and locations for tents/traditional markets in Golong Village. Abstract

The people of Denpasar City and its surroundings need green open space to release fatigue after busy activities. One of these open spaces is obtained at Puputan Badung I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung Field which has tourism potential both natural, historical, cultural and man-made tourism to continue to be developed into a family tourist attraction in Denpasar City, Bali. The existence of this field is supported by various parties, both local communities, tourists to the Denpasar City Government with the existence of Denpasar City Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2019 concerning the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan for 2018-2029. The tangible manifestation of the role of the Denpasar City government to realize Puputan Badung Field as a Family Tourism Attraction is reflected in the existence of 4A elements (attraction, Atraction, Amenity, Accessibility, and Ancillary) that are adequate to date. In this study, data collection was carried out by means of literature studies, documentation and observation. The data analysis technique is carried out using the qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research, it can be concluded that Puputan Badung I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung Field meets the needs of the community for family tourism attraction. Abstract

The development of Aan Village into a tourist village has begun in 2021 where all communities are involved. The advantages possessed by this village are tourist attractions such as Aan Secret Waterfall, Sukanta Wahyu, Bukit Kembar and Petapan Park. The objectives of this study are 1) Know the development of tourism based on the 4A concept that has been done, and 2) Know the application of the concept of sustainable tourism in Aan Tourism Village. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and literature studies. The results of this study found that at this time the development of tourism based on the 4A concept, especially in terms of tourist attraction, is being intensified including natural, cultural and artificial attractions. In addition, improving road access and tourism facilities is being pursued by tourism village managers and village governments. The application of sustainable tourism principles can be applied well considering that this tourism village is still included in the pilot category. Not only from the environmental side but also from the economic and cultural side of the local community. The community is involved in the planning, management, and supervision stages which can provide a sense of ownership and maintain their tourist attractions. It is hoped that with the involvement of all tourism stakeholders, sustainable tourism development can be applied in Aan Tourism Village.Keywords: Tourism Development, Sustainable Tourism, Tourism Village, Aan Village
