Abstract

Electric power system is a process of electrical energy generation to dispense to users. A well-integrated system provides quality assurance for system reliability. Analysis is conducted to minimize dispensing losses. The electrical system of Sumbawa Besar is currently in the process of upgrading 150 KV transmission distribution capacity with PLTMG BADAS as the largest generation center. The research was conducted by analyzing the power flow on PLTMG BADAS for the electrical system of Sumbawa Besar which was reviewed on 20 KV bus system, and by simulating using ETAP 16 software . The research method is done with data derived from Sumbawa's PLN and analysis of the power flow calculation using the method Newton-Raphson precision value 0.0001. The simulation is performed on three generation scenarios, namely: 1) Operation 1 PLTMG engine, 2) operation 2 PLTMG engines, 3) operation of the entire PLTMG machine. All three scenarios are done under normal operating conditions. Simulated results show that the analysis of power flows by Newton-Raphson method generates 2 iterations in each scenario, and the following parameters are obtained: 1) average of the highest voltage value in Scenario 1 OF 20.43 KV With phase angle-14.3, 2) Total active power – highest reactive in Scenario 2 of 44.475 MW and 9.557 MVAR, 3) Scenario 1 has the lowest power loss of 2.634 MW and 5.168 MVAR and voltage fall by 2.275%.

Abstract

For an Institution/Agency, archiving is not new. The entry and exit of documents and other documents in an agency / institution certainly requires filing. The storage carried out at the Directorate of Finance, Sumbawa University of Technology has not been effective enough for the current filing, because the filings carried out are still some done manually so that it is easy to lose archives before filing. The purpose of this study is to design a Web-based records management information system to help the filing process at the Directorate of Finance, Sumbawa University of Technology run more effectively and efficiently. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection methods used in the form of observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. While the method used for software development or system design uses the waterfall method, where this waterfall method is a type of application development model and is included in the classic life cycle. (classical life cycle), in which this cycle emphasizes on sequential and systematic phases. The results of this study are based on a Web-based archive management information system, and data storage is more effective, the archive process is more efficient and makes it easier to search for the desired documents.

Abstract

Renewable energy potential if it is used for the development of a power generation system to supply the needs of the electricity load, especially in Sumbawa Regency for the next 25 years, can be simulated using software. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of EBT as an alternative supply of Sumbawa's electricity needs. The research method used is a quantitative method in the form of secondary data collection from BMKG and PLN then analyzed using software HOMER 3.14. So that simulation modeling and calculations can be carried out for the potential for the next 25 years. From the modeling that has been done, the sensitivity of the received solar radiation is large Solar Cell around 5.59 kWh//day and the average wind speed on the turbine is 5 m/s Net Present Cost (NPC) as big Rp.717,113,700,000 and Cost of Energy (COE) Rp. 1,191.19. This means that this modeling can generate profits for PLN of Rp.7.666.946.930 per year.

Abstract

Telah dirancang Alat Pengering Otomatis Menggunakan Sensor SHT11 dan RTC, namun masih terjadi trip daya ketika pertama kali menghidupkan alat pengering, terutama pada pengguna listrik dengan kapasitas daya listrik yang rendah. Maka dirancang dirancang Aplikasi Sensor SHT11 dan Soft Start Pada Alat Pengering Ikan Bage Otomatis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui cara mengatasi lonjakan arus yang menyebabkan trip daya pada proses starting alat pengering ikan bage otomatis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen meliputi: identifikasi masalah, perancangan alat, pengujian alat, analisis dan kesimpulan. Seluruh komponen alat dirangkai menggunakan Arduino Uno. Alat diatur untuk mengontrol suhu dan durasi pengeringan yang telah ditentukan secara otomatis. Tujuan penambahan soft start adalah untuk mereduksi arus inrush yang menyebabkan trip daya pada saat menghidupkan alat. Hasil pada penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa dengan penambahan soft start mampu mengatasi trip daya.

Abstract

Kabupaten Sumbawa merupakan salah satu Kabupaten/Kota yang memiliki luas wilayah terbesar di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) yang terletak di Pulau Sumbawa. Bersamaan dengan meningkatnya kelistrikan di Nusa Tenggara Barat, kebutuhan listrik di Kabupaten Sumbawa juga terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun seiring dengan perkembangan penduduk dan perekonomiannya. Penelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan energi listrik dari tahun 2021 sampai dengan tahun 2041 di Kabupaten Sumbawa. Proyeksi penelitian dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak Long-range Energy Alternatives Planning (LEAP). Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode pendekatan end-use. Sasaran yang akan diproyeksikan yaitu pelanggan energi listrik, konsumsi energi listrik dan pembangkit. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pelanggan dan permintaan energi listrik kabupaten Sumbawa terus meningkat dengan total 197.391 pelanggan ditahun 2021 menjadi 354.913 pelanggan ditahun 2041 dan permintaan energi listrik dengan total 39.856.691.026 MWh ditahun 2021 menjadi 129.872.546.927 MWh ditahun 2041. Dengan total Output By Feedstock Fuel 24.769.426 MWh serta emisi sebanyak 5.226.208 tCO2eq.

Abstract

The level of electricity consumption must be balanced and efficient [1]. However, not all sectors are able to meet the predetermined efficiency level. This is due to several factors. Among these factors is the use of inappropriate lighting and air conditioning systems [2]. The Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS) Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) building as a consumer of electrical energy, it is necessary to analyze energy saving opportunities. The purpose of this study was to analyze opportunities for energy saving through a brief energy audit guided by SNI 6196: 2011. The method used in this study was a mixed method research. The results of the study obtained IKE in the kWh of the FISIP building of 14.739 kWh/m2/year. In air-conditioned rooms, the average IKE value was 12.07 kWh/m2/month, for non-AC rooms, the average IKE value was 0.5114 kWh/m2/month. In general, the use of electrical energy is classified as very efficient.

Abstract

Cleanliness is an important factor in everyday life, therefore cleanliness must be maintained to avoid disease and environmental pollution. Actually, there have been prevention efforts to prevent problems regarding waste, starting from providing open trash bins if not cleaned it will cause odors as well as closed garbage bins are still not effective because people who want to dispose of garbage have to open the lid manually, especially if the trash bin is dirty people will reluctant to take out the trash. Therefore, a modified trash bin was created to produce a smart trash can to attract people who want to dispose of garbage. This tool uses a Raspberry pi pico as a controller, a PIR sensor as a detector of the presence of objects around the trash can, a servo motor to move the lid of the trash can, a buzzer as an indicator to determine the condition of the trash can and a fuzzy method to make the right decision for the distance to be determined by the user. ultrasonic to make the buzzer turn on.

Abstract

The electrical energy that is distributed to customers is connected to the distribution network. Within the scope of the electricity distribution network, there are problems, namely the rating capacity that exceeds the feeder load and the length of the network on the feeder. This is dangerous because the load being served is too far away, and the excessive load will increase the current flowing through the conductor. so that it causes the voltage to drop to the customer, and if there is a feeder disturbance, it will expand the blackout area. Power loss is a problem that has always been faced by PT. PLN (Persero) and is unavoidable. This is also similar to the conditions that occurred at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Woha, where the load on the Karumbu feeder is too heavy with a capacity of up to 91 amperes and a feeder length of 167 kMs. One of the solutions offered is the need to solve the feeder and plan for the construction of the Monta switch substation to reduce the load and length of the Karumbu feeder by simulating using ETAP 12.6.0 software. Based on the simulation results using the ETAP 12.6.0 software, the voltage at the end of the Karumbu feeder was obtained from 18.087 kV to 18.885 kV after solving the feeder load. The benefits that will be obtained later are reducing the burden on the Karumbu feeder and improving the voltage on the 20 kV and customer sides.

Gangguan kelistrikan dapat menyebabkan penurunan frekuensi yang berimbas padakegagalan unit-unit pembangkit secara berurutan sehingga mengakibatkan kegagalan sistemtotal. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mempertahankan frekuensi dengan melakukan pelepasan beban secara bertahap agar tidak terjadi gangguan sistem yang lebih luas. Metode yangdigunakan adalah metode kuantitatif eksperimen dan analisis data dilakukan denganperhitungan. Abstract

Optimasi biaya bahan bakar pada pembangkit merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk mengoptimalkan pemakaian sumber daya alam dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Fokus penelitian ini akan melakukan analisis biaya bahan bakar pada pembangkit listrik tenaga diesel di PT Sumber Rejeki Power menggunakan metode pendekatan simplex. Metode pendekatan simplex digunakan untuk mencari solusi optimal dalam hal pengaturan bahan bakar pada pembangkit yaitu dengan menganalisa data, serta perhitungan untuk mencapai hasil yang terukur dan menghasilkan sebuah pengambilan keputusan yang baik sehingga memiliki perkiraan perhitungan yang akurat untuk memperoleh minimum biaya. Hasil dari analisis ini yaitu metode simplex dapat diterapkan dalam optimasi pembangkit pada PT Sumber Rejeki Power dalam meminimasi penggunaan bahan bakar dari keterbatasan pembangkit yang dimiliki dan Excel’s Solver dapat membantu proses perhitungan minimasi bahan bakar secara cepat dan akurat sehingga penggunaan minimal bahan bakar yang diperoleh peneliti yaitu sebesar 133.843 Liter, dengan penggunaan sebelumnya 137.875 Liter dan didapatkan selisih sebesar 4032 Liter/hari.
