Abstract

Along the times, the mobilization of people in the world get increased, including Indonesia. The convenient, fast and safe transportation is needed for society to support their mobility. PT. Kereta Api (Persero) is a state-owned facilities and infrastructure that manages the railway transportation in Indonesia. To win the competition of transportation business, an entrepreneur services or service company must give priority to customers satisfaction. The product launched names argo muria and argo sindoro is an effort to increase customer satisfaction.The problem of this research is the number of passengers declined from the year 2008 to 2012. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of service quality and price on customer satisfaction argo class train argo track Semarang - Jakarta.The type of this research is an explanatory research. The number of samples in this study were 96 respondents taking using purposive sampling. Data was collected through interviews and literature study. Data analysis using linear regression test with SPSS 16.0.The results showed that the quality of service has an influence on customer satisfaction with a correlation coefficient of 0.835 and a coefficient of determination of 69.7%, the price has influence on customer satisfaction with a correlation coefficient of 0.719 and a coefficient of determination of 51.7%, service quality and price simultaneously have influence on customer satisfaction with a correlation coefficient of 0,841 and a coefficient determination of 70,8%.Suggestions for this company is they needs to improve the quality of service and the price should be reviewed considering other modes of transport is cheaper and efficient.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and examine the effect of product, price, and promotion to the Toyota Yaris purchasing decisions on PT. Nasmoco Gombel Semarang. This study uses explanatory research approach to the 94 respondents who were taken by purposive sampling method.Techniques of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using linear regression analysis. Based on the results of analysis variables influence product purchasing decision variable at 64.9%. Variables affect the price of the purchase decision variable of 93.3%. Promotion variable influence on purchase decisions 74.8%. Taken together the variables of product, price and promotion influence on purchase decisions of 94.9%. The better the product, the price is cheap, and attractive promotions then the higher the purchasing decision. Suggestion for the company, the company should keep perform periodic evaluation and improvement so that the product in the eyes of consumers better than other similar products. Companies must keep a decent price for the consumer that is based on income levels and competition, keep frequent and interesting promotion

Abstract

Customers buying behavior of a product is influenced by many factors. Every individual has the desire and taste different. Product quality is a factor that is very influential on purchase decisions, other than that there are many more factors that influence the buying behavior. This study aims to how much influence product quality, price, and promotion of their product purchasing decisions Yamaha Mio motorcycle and know the variables that have a dominant influence on purchase decisions Yamaha Mio motorcycle products to the public in the area of Semarang.Type is the type of research that used explanatory research. Samples were taken at 98 respondents that consumers who use Yamaha Mio motorcycle and make purchases at Harpindo Jaya branch of Majapahit. Determination of the sample with accidental sampling technique. Mechanical analysis of the data using linear regression analysis. Based on these results it can be concluded that: (a) there is a positive and significant effect on the variable quality of the product, (b) there is a positive and significant effect on the price variables, (c) there is a positive and significant impact on the promotion of the purchase decision variables Yamaha Mio. And who has the greatest influence is variable product quality. Hypothesis testing shows that the influence of product quality, price, and promotion of their purchasing decisions Yamaha Mio. The coefficient of determination for the variable quality of the product (X1), price (X2), and Promotion (X3) is 85.4% to the buying decision, while 14.6% Harpindo Jaya influenced other factors.PT. Harpindo Jaya should further enhance the promotion through electronic media and print media so that consumers always remember the product being offered. Prices were terjagkau and still maintain the quality must be maintained in order to remain in the interest of consumers.

Abstract

PT. Indonesia Power UBP Semarang, part of the PT. Indonesia Power, is engaged in power generating of gas and steam. Companies desperately need the ability and motivation of the workforce, especially in the technical and operational machinery. As a measure of the progress of the company, PT. Indonesia Power perform employee performance assessment. It conducted each semester by filling Form Employee Performance by superiors. From the preliminary survey conducted by the researchers, it is known that the performance of the employees of PT. Indonesia Power UBP Semarang in 2011 has decreased. Performance of employees was reduced in grade 4 from 14.74% to 7.98%. Absenteeism PT. Indonesia Power UBP Semarang in 2011 also declined. Employees who off work increased in June. This study aimed to determine the effect of work ability and work motivation on employee performance. The population in this study are 104 operator employees of PT. Indonesia Power UBP Semarang. Sampling technique in this study was saturated sampling. Measurement scale using Likert scale. Data analysis using regression with SPSS 17.0. The results showed that the ability variables have a positive and significant influence on the employees performance at 41.9 percent. Motivation variables have a positive and significant influence on the employees performance at 50.2 percent. Variable work ability and motivation have a positive and significant influence on the performance of employees at 53.5 percent. This study concluded that the ability to work and motivation have a positive and significant influence to the employee performance. PT. Indonesia Power UBP Semarang should provide training to improve the ability, especially in terms of mastery of work equipment and computer systems, understanding of company policies, understanding of corporate objectives and the ability of empathize. Provide better motivation to employees to create a feeling in the employees that they have a role in the company.

Abstract

Aqua is a brand of bottled mineral water. The factors predicted affecting consumer loyalty are brand image and product quality. This study aims to examine the influence of brand image, product quality, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty of Aqua drinking water in the community who are living in Puri Anjasmoro Residential. Type of research is explanatory research. Sampling technique used purposive sampling, which is sampling techniques used based on purpose and specific considerations. The sample size is 97 respondents. Data were analyzed using Validity Test, Reliability Test, Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression, Path Analysis. The results of this research prove partially brand image and product quality influence to customer satisfaction. Brand image and product quality simultaneously influence to customer satisfaction. Brand image, product quality, customer satisfaction influence to customer loyalty. Brand image and product quality influence to customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. The conclusion of this study is the influence of brand image on customer loyalty directly by 35,8%. Influence of product quality to customer loyalty directly by 38%. Influence customer satisfaction with customer loyalty directly by 18,1%. Influence of brand image, product quality and customer satisfaction with customer loyalty simultaneously at 66,4%. Influence of other variables outside the model of customer loyalty for 33,6%. The influence of brand image to the satisfaction of 29,3%. Influence the quality of the product to the satisfaction of 44,7%. Influence of brand image and product quality simultaneously to the satisfaction of 47%. Influence of other variables outside the model of customer loyalty for 53%. Research suggest the producer Aqua should maintain and enhance the brand image and product quality to increase customer loyalty.

Abstract

Abstract: Stock price fluctuations require investors to carry out analysis to minimize risks and increase profits. The ratios used as the basis for the analysis are the profitability ratio and the liquidity ratio. The research objective is to determine the effect of profitability and liquidity on stock prices in retail trade sub-sector companies for the period 2014-2019. This research uses an explanatory type. To take research samples, it uses purposive sampling technique which resulted in 18 companies meet the research criteria; the criteria are the companies with financial reports available in the period 2014-2019 with an IPO date before January 2014. The data collected in this study will be analyzed using linear regression analysis. Before the linear regression model, the data will be tested for its feasibility by using the classical assumption test so that it can be used as a good predictor tool and will not be biased by data processing software, namely SPSS. Based on the research results, it is known that partially, the variables of Return on Asset, Net Profit Margin, and Current Ratio have a significant effect on stock prices in retail trade sub-sector companies. Meanwhile, the Qurrent Ratio variable does not have a significant effect on stock prices in retail trade sub-sector company. The suggestion that the author can propose based on the research result is that the retail trade sub-sector companies can see the potential for enhancing financial performance in order to increase confidence in investors through variables that are proven to influence increasing stock prices.Keywords: profitability; liquidity; stock price; retailAbstrak: Fluktuasi harga saham mengharuskan investor melakukan analisis untuk meminimalisir risiko dan meningkatkan keuntungan. Rasio yang dijadikan landasan dalam analisa adalah rasio profitabilitas dan rasio likuiditas. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas dan likuiditas terhadap harga saham pada perusahaan sub sektor perdagangan eceran periode 2014-2019. Penelitian menggunakan tipe eksplanatori. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sebanyak 18 perusahaan memenuhi kriteria penelitian, yaitu perusahaan dengan laporan keuangan yang tersedia pada periode 2014-2019 dengan tanggal IPO sebelum Januari 2014. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier. Sebelum model regresi linear, data diuji kelayakannya dengan menggunakan uji asumsi klasik agar dapat digunakan sebagai alat prediksi yang baik dan tidak bias dengan software pengolah data yaitu SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa secara parsial, variabel Return on Asset, Net Profit Margin, dan Current Ratio berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap harga saham pada perusahaan sub sektor perdagangan eceran. Sementara variabel Qurrent Ratio tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap harga saham pada perusahaan sub sektor perdagangan eceran. Saran yang dapat penulis berikan berdasarkan hasil penelitian adalah perusahaan sub sektor perdagangan eceran dapat melihat potensi kinerja keuangan tersebut guna lebih meningkatkan kepercayaan pada investor melalui variabel yang terbukti dapat berpengaruh terhadap meningkatnya harga saham.Kata kunci: profitabilitas; likuiditas; harga saham; eceran

Abstract

Abstract: Currently, human life is inseparable from the internet. IndiHome is one of the largest internet service providers in Indonesia with an increase in subscribers every year. IndiHome subscribers until 2019 reached seven million subscribers. However, over time, many customers filed complaints to IndiHome regarding slow internet access, sudden increases in billing and so on. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of service quality on IndiHome customer loyalty in Semarang City. This type of research is explanatory research. The sampling method in this research is nonprobability sampling by accidental sampling. Google form in this study is used to collect data. A total of 100 IndiHome respondents in Semarang City were used as research samples. The analysis data used simple linear regression. The research concludes that service quality has significant effects on customer loyalty.  Keywords: Service Quality; Customer Loyalty; IndiHome Semarang Abstrak: Saat ini, kehidupan manusia tidak terlepas dari adanya internet. IndiHome merupakan satu dari sekian internet service provider terbesar di Indonesia dengan peningkatan pelanggan setiap tahunnya. Pelanggan IndiHome sampai tahun 2019 mencapai tujuh juta pelanggan. Namun, seiring berjalannya waktu pula, banyak pelanggan yang melayangkan keluhan kepada IndiHome mengenai lambatnya akses internet, kenaikan billing secara tiba-tiba dan lain sebagainya. Tujuan riset ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan pada loyalitas pelanggan IndiHome di Kota Semarang. Tipe penelitian ini adalah explanatory research. Metode pengambilan sampel pada riset ini adalah nonprobability sampling dengan cara accidental sampling. Google form pada penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Sebanyak 100 responden IndiHome di Kota Semarang dijadikan sampel penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil riset menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Kata Kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan; Loyalitas Pelanggan; IndiHome Semarang.

Abstract

Abstract: Every company in carrying out its business activities can not be separated from its main goal which is to maximize profits. Profit is supporting the survival of a company. Profit it also a measure of a company’s ability to carry out company operations. The gap between the activity ratio and profitability ratio is an element of the problem in the food and beverage sub-sector companies. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cash turnover and inventory turnover on profitability in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2013-3018 period. This type of research is explanotary research, with samples in the food and beverage sub-sector as many as 15 companies over a period of 6 years so as to produce a sample of 90 samples. The data used in this study is time series data. The analysis method uses linear regression analysis With a significance of 0,05 which was tested using the SPSS version 22 application.Based on these results it can be concluded that the cash turnover is not a significant negative effect on profitability and inventory turnover has a significant positive effect on profitability. Simultaneously cash turnover and inventory turnover have a significant effect on profitability. It is recommended for companies to be able to further increase inventory turnover to increase the profitability of companies in the food and beverage sub-sector for the 2013-2018 period. Keywords: Profitability; Cash Turnover and Inventory Turnover Abstrak: Setiap perusahaan dalam menjalankan kegiatannya usahanya tidak terlepas dari tujuan utamanya yaitu untuk memaksimalkan laba. Laba merupakan penunjang kelangsungan hidup suatu perusahaan. Laba juga merupakan salah satu ukuran kemampuan perusahaan dalam melakukan kegiatan operasional perusahaan. Adanya kesenjangan antara rasio aktivitas dan rasio profitabilitas merupakan unsur permasalahan pada perusahaan sub sektor makanan dan minuman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perputaran kas dan perputaran persediaan terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2013-2018. Tipe penelitian ini adalah explanotary research, dengan sampel di sub sector makanan dan minuman sebanyak 15 perusahaan selama periode 6 tahun sehingga dihasilkan sampel sebanyak 90 sampel. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data time series. Metode analisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,05 yang diuji menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 22. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara parsial perputaran kas berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas dan perputaran persediaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Secara simultan perputaran kas dan perputaran persediaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Disarankan bagi perusahaan agar bisa lebih meningkatkan perputaran persediaan untuk meningkatkan profitabilitas perusahaan sub sektor makanan dan minuman periode 2013-2018. Kata kunci: Profitabilitas; Perputaran Kas dan Perputaran Persediaan

Abstract

 Abstract: Technological and information development bring humans closer to internet. The convenience and practicality of the online medium make peoples who are doing business starting to switch from a conventional business model to more advanced model and that is e-commerce. Bukalapak is one of the biggest marketplace players in Indonesia. Lately, so many competitions had showed up and that makes Bukalapak’s consumer purchase intention decreased, this is evidenced by website visitors and app rank that has dropped over the last few months. The purpose of this research is to find out if brand awareness, trust, and price have positive effect towards Bukalapak’s online purchase intention. The type of this research is explanatory. Sampling method that being used in this research are non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique which is distributed online through google form. A total of 100 respondents who use Bukalapak in Semarang City were used as sample with Likert’s scale of measurement are being used in this research. Data analysis that being used are validity test, reliability test, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple linear regression, t test, then F test. The research concludes that brand awareness, trust, and price have positive and significant effect towards online purchase intention either partially or simultaneously. Kemudahan dan praktisnya sarana online membuat para pelaku bisnis beralih dari model bisnis konvensional ke arah yang lebih modern yaitu e-commerce. Bukalapak termasuk salah satu pemain marketplace terbesar di Indonesia. Karena banyaknya persaingan yang muncul, Bukalapak mengalami penurunan minat dalam beberapa waktu terakhir, dibuktikan dengan turunnya pengunjung website dan peringkat aplikasi. Riset ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kesadaran merek, kepercayaan, dan harga berpengaruh positif pada minat beli online di Bukalapak. Riset ini menggunakan tipe explanatory. Metode sampling yang digunakan yaitu non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling yang disebarkan secara online melalui google form. Sebanyak 100 responden pengguna Bukalapak di Kota Semarang dijadikan sampel riset dengan skala pengukuran menggunakan skala Likert. Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, koefisien determinasi, regresi linier sederhana, linier berganda, uji t, dan uji F. Hasil riset menunjukan bahwa kesadaran merek, kepercayaan, dan harga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada minat beli online baik secara parsial ataupun simultan.Kata Kunci: Harga; Kepercayaan; Kesadaran Merek; Minat Beli

Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that develop from systemic infection caused by bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex. Generally, M.tuberculosis spread from one person to another through nuclear droplet air transmission. Although TB has a lower transmission rate compared to another infectious disease, TB still become a global health problem. It is estimated that approximately one third of the world’s population is infected by tuberculosis. Every year it is estimated that there are nine million new cases and close to two million death cases caused by tuberculosis.Case: A 24-year-old female was admitted to the hospital complaining of could not move both of her legs and could not urinate. One month before admission, she was diagnosed with meningitis TB; miliary TB; and meningioma at thoracic vertebrae T11-12 based on physical examination, laboratory examination, Chest X-Ray, Head CT Scan without contrast, and thoracolumbal MRI. When admitted to the hospital, the patient already treated with Fixed Dose Combination of antituberculosis Drugs first category for one and a half month from Turen Primary Healthcare. Then the patient underwent bronchoscopy examination. The result of the anatomical pathology examination showed class two. Then the patient underwent a laminectomy surgery and tumor excision at thoracic vertebrae T11-12. The result of postoperative Anatomical Pathology examination showed a neurofibroma pattern. After surgery, the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department placed thoracic lumbosacral orthoses (TLSO) to the patient. Postoperative evaluation up to three months showed that the patient’s general condition was quite good but still cannot move both of her legs and cannot urinate.
