Abstract

Cyber threats to data privacy are a serious challenge for every individual in this digital era. Personal data protection and digital surveillance are important in dealing with this threat. In Indonesia, cyber security challenges involve a lack of public literacy, a lack of specific government policies, and a lack of competent human resources in the field of cyber security. The method used in this research is to collect articles that have been published in national publications and use a qualitative research approach. This paper discusses cyber threats.

Abstract

A database is an important part of an information system, because it acts as a foundation for providing information to its users. The implementation of a database in an information system is usually called a database system. This database system is an information system that brings together a combination of several data that are related to each other and makes it available in several diverse applications within one organization Database systems are used to store, manage and process data with the aim of providing efficient, safe and systematic access to information. The goals of a database system include providing flexible access, ensuring data integrity, protecting data from damage and unauthorized access, and enabling shared use. This includes aspects of data connectivity, minimizing redundant data, eliminating dependencies on specific applications, standardizing data element boundaries, and improving the performance of information systems personnel.Modern organizations realize that managing data well and correctly is a successful step in achieving organizational targets. Therefore, many organizations use modern data management with software media. In a system that involves data management, if the system is integrated with software for data management, then of course the system uses Software Data Management concepts.Libraries as one of the providers of information facilities in society certainly require ensuring convenience in every activity that occurs in them. To realize effectiveness in carrying out the functions of a library organization, the role of a database is needed to facilitate data management and access services to the public.

Abstract

Blockchain technology is a promising solution for managing large amounts of data (big data) to ensure data security and transparency. Utilizing blockchain technology to manage big data can help optimize security, reduce operational costs, and support data analysis. In an increasingly complex digital era, blockchain technology can help mitigate the risks of identity theft, document forgery, and data manipulation. This research examines the implementation of blockchain technology in big data management, discusses the benefits and challenges of applying blockchain technology in big data management, and provides practical guidance for organizations looking to implement blockchain technology in big data management.

Abstract

With the development of increasingly advanced technology, data security and privacy are becoming increasingly crucial issues in the financial sector. Blockchain technology has emerged as a promising solution to improve data security and privacy in this scope. This research explores the role of blockchain technology in strengthening data security and privacy in the financial sector through a qualitative research approach. By conducting literature analysis, it was found that blockchain technology offers characteristics such as decentralization, transparency, and cryptographic security that can significantly improve data security and privacy. However, challenges such as technological scalability and regulatory irregularities are still obstacles that need to be overcome for the implementation of this technology to be fully successful. A case study of blockchain implementation in the financial sector is also presented to illustrate its impact on data security and privacy. The research results show that although blockchain technology has succeeded in improving data security and privacy in the financial sector, further efforts are needed to optimally maximize its potential.

However, to realize these benefits, companies must adopt advanced security technologies, strict privacy policies, and effective employee training. A well-integrated approach to leveraging the benefits of big data while adhering to strict security policies can support business growth and increase customer trust.

Big data increases the efficiency and effectiveness of audits and allows data collection to reveal patterns and relationships that are not visible at first glance. In addition, the use of big data can help reduce the burden on infrastructure by identifying problem areas, developing the tourism sector, and improving the quality of emergency response.

Abstract

The use of big data and business analytics provides benefits to businesses globally. This research focuses on business analytics and big data technologies to improve business decision-making processes, technical approaches, applications, and research questions. Especially in the era of data explosion, “data” is very important. Therefore, those who have the ability to process and use multifaceted data sets can gain several benefitsThree things differentiate big data: volume, velocity, and variety.Understanding client questions requires a strong understanding of data. Producing extraordinary new products and services is essential. Accessible platforms include Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra, Apache Spark, and Xplenty, which can be used to store and process very large amounts of data and have the capacity to store and process very large data, and are used as supporting tools to increase utilization and saving resources, reducing calculation time and effort, and enabling better business decisions. Abstract

The presence of online applications and services has made it easier for users to interact and access information. However, its impact on user privacy is increasingly becoming a major concern, especially with increasing incidents of data leaks and privacy violations. Implementation of strong encryption, active monitoring of threats, and compliance with privacy regulations are effective strategies in improving data security and maintaining user privacy. Implementing this strategy requires collaboration between service providers, developers, and end users to create a more secure and trusted digital environment. Therefore, this research aims to identify and analyze effective strategies in improving data security to maintain user privacy in online applications and services. The research method used is a literature study to collect the latest information about data security challenges and strategies that can be implemented.

Abstract

The development of information technology and the internet has now changed the communication carried out by humans, one of which is through the advancement of social media which has become an integral part of life, it is used to obtain, disseminate and access information. As social media advances, concerns about information security and privacy become increasingly important. Social media has become a common source of leaks of confidential information. Without realizing it, a lot of personal data has been spread on the internet. This leak of personal data can be caused by negligence of the user or service provider. Therefore, information system security is an asset that must be properly protected. Awareness of data privacy and user attitudes towards the use of social media applications have become a major concern in this digital era. This study aims to investigate the level of awareness and attitudes of Generation Z users towards data privacy when using social media applications. Using survey methods and qualitative analysis, this research in-depth investigates the factors that influence users' perceptions of data privacy and attitudes in managing their personal information on social media platforms. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide valuable insights for social media application developers and policy makers to increase awareness and protect user data privacy, especially among Generation Z.
