Abstract

The rapid development of technology and information brings many impacts in various fields, especially in the field of education. Student learning activities with digital technology in learning cannot be separated, so students are expected to master technology such as electronic modules. Student learning outcomes seen from the final semester exams for class XI MIPA students are quite adequate with an average score of 5 classes, namely 62, so it is necessary to follow up with the manufacture of STEM integrated static fluid electronic modules to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the STEM integrated module with professional static fluid material flip pdf software. The research method used by Hannafin and Peck's instructional development model is focused on product-oriented learning design. The instrument used in the study was an electronic module validation sheet that involved 5 lecturers as product validators. Data analysis showed that the development of electronic teaching materials scored 85.63 which belonged to the category of good use. Therefore, the design of the STEM-integrated static fluid material electronic module can help online learning activities during the pandemic. Furthermore, this study is suggested to investigate the practicality and effectiveness of electronic modules.

Abstract

The breakneck internet access speed evidences the progress of society in the 21st century. Internet access speed is a form of community progress 5.0 in obtaining quality information. 21st-century skills have been born along with the development of information and communication technology (ICT). The rapid growth of ICT raises concerns about the human workforce that can be replaced by robots. The first actual condition is that 21st-century skills such as problem-solving, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication, are still low. The second exact condition is that the teaching materials used have not been integrated with STEM, with a value of 48%. The purpose of this study was to determine the practicality of developing STEM integrated electronics physics teaching materials to improve students' 21st-century skills. This study uses the type of research R&D (Research & Development). While the model used is the Plomp model. Based on the research results that have been done, it can be concluded that the results of the practicality of teaching materials in the one-to-one, small group, and field test trials are 80, 84, and 83, respectively. This can be interpreted that the electronic teaching materials developed are practical and can be used when learning physics.

Abstract

The development of the 21st century demands changes in resources of human of “broad insight, critical thinking, and literacy” to deal with the development of 21st century education. Conditions in the field found that STEM, data literacy and technology had not been implemented, and the average score of students in physics learning had not been implemented. One solution that can be conducted is to develop ICT materials of teaching on work and energy based on STEM Education. This study aims to determine the validity of ICT-based business and energy teaching materials to integrate STEM Education to improve data and technology literacy of high school students.The research conducted includes development research using the development model of Plomp. The development model of Plomp is carried out until the design and prototype stages, namely determining the validity of the product carried out by experts on the product being developed. The results of the study obtained that the assessment of teaching materials was valid on five components based on data analysis using Aiken, V obtained the results for material substance with a value of 0.77, visual communication display with a value of 0.78, learning design with a value of 0.78, software usage with a value of 0.63 and STEM assessment with a value of 0.74. Based on this validity assessment, it can be concluded that ICT-based business and energy teaching materials integrate STEM Education to improve data literacy and valid high school students' technology so that they can be applied to students in learning

Abstract

21st-century education is an education described by the utilization of computerized innovation in the educational experience to further develop student's critical and creative thinking skills. The integrated teaching module of STEM education is still low, this is obtained from the analysis of STEM integration in textbooks, which is 57.89. The answer for defeat these issues is to foster a coordinated sound wave and light wave e-module in STEM schooling. This study aims to reveal the validity of the integrated sound wave and light wave e-module in STEM education. This type of research is included in research and development. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The instrument in this study used a content validity sheet. Technical analysis of the data in this study using Aiken's V. In view of the outcomes of the analysis of Aiken's V obtained a value of 0.83. Product validity is interpreted as a high validity category because the score is 0.8. In view of the aftereffects of this review, it was inferred that the e-module of sound waves and light waves integrated with STEM education was in the valid category and could be used in learning in schools on aspects of material substance, visual communication display, instructional design, software usage, and STEM assessment. Researchers hope that this e-module can be a reference for technology-based learning resources to create meaningful learning to encourage the improvement of high school students critical and creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The development of education cannot be separated from the development of the current Industrial Revolution 4.0. One of the chops that can answer the industrial revolution is data literacy and technological literacy. The use of ICT-based teaching materials is needed in learning in this era. Correspondingly, stem integration will improve new literacy skills. However, in preliminary studies, the lack of ICT-based worksheet use in the learning process. The solution to this problem is to create STEM-integrated ICT-based worksheets. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of ICT-based worksheets in effective STEM integration work and energy teaching materials to improve students' knowledge, data literacy, and technology literacy. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) according to the Plomp model. The data obtained from this study is the result of expert validation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis with Aiken's V validation. The validation results of Aiken's V stated that the average of 0.80 had a high coefficient of Aiken's V criteria. This result was obtained from an average of three expert validators. Thus, an ICT-based worksheet, a STEM-integrated work, and energy material to improve the data literacy and technological literacy of SMA students is declared valid and suitable for learning. It is hoped that this worksheet can be a reference for further research to improve the quality of learning to answer the challenges of the upcoming revolution era

Abstract

Education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is not enough just to read and write and numeracy. One of the 16 life skills that students must have in this industrial revolution era is scientific literacy. The aim of the study was to test the effectiveness of using the developed worksheet integrated with scientific literacy. However, worksheets that support literacy activities in the process of learning are still relatively rare and do not support practicum activities. One of the solutions to the problems expressed is to develop scientific literacy integrated worksheets for the use of physics practicum KIT on the material elasticity of materials. The research type used was research and development (Research and Development) or known as R&D. The object of research is worksheets that are integrated with scientific literacy for the use of physics practicum KIT on material elasticity for class XI high school. Research is limited to the product trial stage with a limited scale. Based on the research conducted, 3 conclusions can be drawn. First, the integrated scientific literacy worksheet for the use of physics practicum KIT on material elasticity is very valid with a validity value of 0.85. Second, the practical value of integrated worksheets with scientific literacy obtained from teachers is 94% in the very practical category. The practicality value by students obtained a value of 92% with a very practical category. Furthermore, the use of scientific literacy integrated worksheets is effective in improving student outcomes of learning.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is an era of rapid development and technology. This era requires the ability to higher order thinking to prepare participants for development. Based on the demands of Time for national education issued an effort to increase the curriculum to the 2013 curriculum to stimulate participants to educate. The 2013 curriculum sets graduate competency standards based on student readiness, national education goals, and needs. Updating the learning process is urgently needed, one of which is by adjusting the teaching materials used for the material to be delivered. In the learning process, the main component is the availability of teaching materials that will be used by students. There are teaching materials in the form of print and non-print. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the STEM Integrated Physics E-Module to improve the Creative Thinking Ability of Class XI Students of. This research method uses a quasi-experimental design using the posttest only design. After conducting the research it turned out that students' creative thinking abilities as seen from each student's answer from the two sample classes had different averages in common, namely the normality test, test homogeneity, two-mean similarity test From the analysis results obtained, namely the value of th is in the H0 resistance area so that it can be said that H1 is accepted at a significant level of 0.05. The results of the statistical analysis of the data show that th> tt is 2,764473449> 1,67528495042491, so it can be concluded that there are differences in students' creative thinking skills in the aspect of knowledge using e-modules and not using e-modules.

Abstract

The challenges of globalization require students to have skills or skills, especially skills of 21st century. The skills of 21st century that students must increase are the 4C skills, including: thinking in critical, creative, collaboration and communication. The research aim was to analyze the need for the making of an e-module on global warming integrated with the PBL model to increase students' skills of 21st century. In the research there were three something investigated, namely physics teachers, physics lesson plans, physics materials of teaching, and students of class XI IPA. The research subjects were 4 physics teachers and 33 people class XI SMA students Negeri 13 Padang. The techniques for data collection used in this research were interviews, documentation and 21st century skills tests. The collected of data by appropriate instruments were analyzed using techniques of descriptive statistical analysis. Based on data analysis, the results obtained included: 1) physics learning could not be carried out properly, 2) the learning objectives developed had not been able to help students achieve learning behavior, 3) analysis of the students characteristics found that motivation, interest, and independence of students are in the less category, 4) analysis of students' 21st century skills found that the initial skills of thinking in critical, creative, collaboration and communication of students are in the less category, 5) analysis of student learning outcomes it is found that midterm exam scores are still in the deficient category.

Abstract

The era of industrial revolution 4.0 aims to develop human resources who can discuss creatively and think critically. Teachers can take advantage of technological developments by designing e-modules that integrate with  STEM approaches that improve students' critical and creative thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of validation of integrated e-modules the STEM approach. This research belongs to the  research and development that designs up to the demonstration test stage using a four-dimensional development model. The data collection tool used  validation sheets. The data collection tool used validation sheets. The result obtained from the mean V is 0.68, which is within the valid category. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that an integrated work and energy materials e-module using a STEM approach would be suitable for use in a Grade X physics class. The e-modules integrated  with STEM approach will be further developed and used as standalone learning materials to overcome the challenges of Industrial Revolution 4.0. This enhances student ability to think critically and creatively, leading to meaningful learning

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 is a digital revolution marked by a combination of technology. Changes that occur in this era are not just about technology but are closely related to literacy skills. One of the suitable literacy to answer the challenges in this era is new literacy. Electronic student worksheet is designed by integrating science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in order to increase students' knowledge and literacy. but after doing research, several problems were found in learning, firstly using electronic worksheet has not been carried out and learning is still using printed books, both STEM integration is still relatively low with a value of 28.57, the three materials of sound and light waves have a high level of thinking. high so that students find it difficult to understand the material, and the results of the four students' knowledge tests are still relatively low with a value of 40.25. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the STEM integrated electronic worksheet and the practicality of the STEM integrated electronic worksheet. This research includes development research (R&D) that uses a 4-D model to the practical stage. The validation involved three experts from Physics, FMIPA UNP. The results obtained using the Aiken's V formula are that the STEM-integrated electronic worksheet with a value of 0.82 in the valid category, and the practicality value of the STEM-integrated electronic worksheet is 95.55 with a very practical category. So the electronic worksheet for sound waves and light integrated STEM is suitable for use in physics learning.
