Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of cement concentration on the physical and mechanical properties of the cement particle board of sengon wood powder (Paraserianthes falcataria). Analyzing the suitability of wood as raw material for cement boards. The physical properties of the particle cement board with the addition of a cement ratio of 225 grams per treatment did not significantly affect the value of the water content. Overall average water content reaches less than 14% that meets SNI, the average value of density produced has a very significant effect but only on treatment with a ratio of powder: 3: 1 cement that meets the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) with SNI requirements for cement board density from 0.4 to 0.9 gr / cm3 (low density), the average modulus of elasticity (MoE) produced significantly influences and fulfills SNI for cement board particles 2.55 kgf / cm2 at A2 treatment, A3 and A4 but have not met the standard in A1 treatment, the average value of fracture firmness (MoR) for each treatment has a very significant effect and according to the standards stipulated SNI min 133 kgf / cm2 it meets the standard in A4 treatment with a ratio between powder and cement 6 : 1 while not meeting the standards in A1, A2 and A3 treatments. The suitability of Sengon wood powder (Paraserianthes falcataria) to the physical and mechanical properties of particle cement board in the form of water content, density, flexural strength (MoE) and fracture firmness (MoR) for each given treatment is appropriate because most have met Indonesian National Standard (SNI).Keywords: Cement Board, Physical and Mechanical Properties of Cement Board, Particle Board

Abstract

The type of land cover affects the level of erosion hazard in an area. The purpose of this study was to analyze the amount of erosion hazard and determine the level of erosion hazard (TBE) on the reed vegetation on various slopes in the Bati-bati sub-watershed of the Maluka watershed, South Kalimantan. Sampling of data using purposive sampling technique. Samples were taken as many as 6 land units based on vegetation, soil type, reed land cover and slope class, which were obtained from the map overlay of land units. Each sample point was taken soil samples using a sample ring to be tested in the laboratory. Then, the data were analyzed using Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) and Erosion Hazard Analysis (TBE). The highest number of erosion values occurred in reed Land Unit (UL) 39 with a slope of 15-25% with an erosion value of 130.96 tons/ha/year, while the lowest erosion value was found in UL 34 with a slope of 0-8 and erosion of 9.64 tons/ha/year. The erosion hazard level of the land unit under study shows the percentage of light grade (IR) occurring at UL7, UL 34, UL 50 and UL 59 with a flat slope (0-8), while the medium grade (II-S) occurs at UL. 37 with gentle slopes (8-15) and UL 39 with steep slopes (25-40)Jenis penutupan lahan berpengaruh terhadap tingkat bahaya erosi dalam suatu wilayah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah menganalisis jumlah bahaya erosi dan menentukan adanya tingkat bahaya erosi (TBE) pada vegetasi alang-alang pada berbagai kelerengan di sub DAS Bati-bati DAS Maluka, Kalimantan Selatan. Pengambilan sampel data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel diambil sebanyak 6 unit lahan berdasarkan vegetasi, jenis tanah, tutupan lahan alang-alang dan kelas kelerengan, yang didapat dari overlay peta satuan lahan. Setiap titik sampel diambil sampel tanahnya menggunakan ring sampel untuk diuji di laboratorium. Kemudian, data dianalisis menggunakan persamaan Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) dan Analisis Tingkat Bahaya Erosi (TBE). Jumlah nilai  erosi tertinggi terjadi pada Unit Lahan Alang-Alang (UL) 39 dengan kemiringan lereng 15-25% dengan nilai erosi sebesar130,96 ton/ha/thn, sedangkan nilai erosi terendah terdapat pada UL 34 dengan kemiringan lereng 0-8 dan nilai erosi sebesar 9,64 ton/ha/thn. Tingkat bahaya erosi dari unit lahan yang diteliti menunjukkan persentase kelas ringan (I-R) terjadi pada UL7, UL 34, UL 50 dan UL 59 dengan kemiringan lereng yang datar (0-8), sedangkan pada kelas sedang (II-S) terjadi pada UL 37 dengan kemiringan lereng landai (8-15) dan UL 39 dengan  kemiringan lereng curam (25-40).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the yield, productivity and contribution of bamboo woven making including bags, wallets, and tissue boxes for people's income in Ajung Village, Tebing Tinggi District, Balangan Regency. This study uses direct observation and interviews with bamboo woven craftsmen, conducting interviews with local communities to obtain additional information. The average productivity of bamboo woven bags per person is 0.34 units/hour, 1.53 units/day, 25 units/month and 263.73 units/year, the average productivity of bamboo woven purses per person is 0.39 units/hour, 2 units/day, 49.66 units/month and 575.13 units/year, the average productivity of woven tissue box crafts per person is 0.21 units/hour, 1.41 units/day, 6.93 units/month and 75.4 units/year. The average yield of bag is 73.08%, wallet is 71.56% and tissue box 79.95%. The value of the average annual net income of bag is Rp. 7,634,000, wallet of Rp. 12,157,000 and tissue box Rp. 1,843,000/year.Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengetahui besarnya rendemen, produktivitas dan kontribusi pembuatan anyaman bambu meliputi tas, dompet, dan kotak tisu untuk pendapatan masyarakat di Desa Ajung Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Balangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi langsung dan wawancara terhadap pengrajin anyaman bamboo, melakukan wawancara kepada masyarakat setempat untuk memperoleh informasi tambahan. Hasil rata-rata produktivitas kerajinan anyaman tas bambu perorang sebesar 0,34 unit/jam, 1,53 unit/hari, 25 unit/bulan dan 263,73 unit/tahun, rata-rata produktivitas kerajinan anyaman dompet bambu perorang sebesar 0,39 unit/jam, 2 unit/hari, 49,66 unit/bulan dan 575,13 unit/tahun, rata-rata produktivitas kerajinan anyaman kotak tisue perorang sebesar 0,21 unit/jam, 1,41 unit/hari, 6,93 unit/bulan dan 75,4 unit/tahun. Rendemen kerajinan anyaman tas bambu memiliki rata-rata 73,08%, kerajinan anyaman dompet bambu rata-rata 71,56% dan kerajinan anyaman kotak tissue 79,95%. Besarnya nilai rata-rata pendapatan bersih pertahun anyaman tas bambu sebesar Rp. 7.634.000, anyaman dompet bambu sebesar Rp. 12.157.000 dan anyaman kotak tisu Rp. 1.843.000/tahun.

Abstract

The potential of plants with medicinal properties is spread in Indonesia, one of which is in the forest area with a special purpose (KHDTK) UNLAM. This study aims to analyze several active compounds, namely the content of flavonoids, saponins, quinones, tannins, steroids, triterpenoids and alkaloids present in Sungkai plants. (Peronema canescens jack), Mali-mali (Leea indica) and Lerak (Cyathostemma viridiflorum). The results of this study were testing the active compounds that were most commonly found in sungkai plants were saponins, tannins and steroids in parts of the root, stem and leave except for steroids only in the stems and leaves. Testing of active compounds in mali-mali and lerak plants. The compounds most commonly found in the roots, stems and leaves were saponins, quinones, tannins and steroids, for flavonoid and triterpenoid compounds were not found in the three plants. The most abundant alkaloid compounds were found in the Mayer reagent in almost all parts of the sungkai, mali-mali and lerak plants except for the leaves, Wagner and Dragendorf reagents also contained compounds but only a few in the sungkai and lerak plant parts.Potensi tanaman yang berkhasiat obat tersebar di Indonesia, salah satunya di kawasan hutan dengan tujuan khusus (KHDTK) UNLAM.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beberapa senyawa aktif yaitu kandungan flavonoid, saponin, quinon, tanon, steroid, triterpenoid dfan alkaloid yang ada pada tumbuhan Sungkai (Peronema canescens jack), Mali-mali (Leea indica) dan Lerak (Cyathostemma viridiflorum). Hasil dari penelitian ini pengujian ditemukan pada tumbuhan sungkai senyawa saponin, tanin dan steroid pada bagian akar, batang dan daun terkecuali steroid hanya dibagian batang dan daun. Pengujian senyawa aktif pada tanaman mali-mali dan lerak senyawa yang paling banyak ditemukan di bagian akar, batang dan daun adalah senyawa saponin, quinon, tanin dan steroid, untuk senyawa flavonoid dan triterpenoid tidak ditemukan diketiga tumbuhan. Senyawa alkaloid paling banyak ditemukan yaitu pada pereaksi mayer hampir semua bagian tumbuhan sungkai, mali-mali maupun lerak terkecuali dibagian daunnya, pereaksi wagner dan dragendorf juga terdapat senyawa namun hanya beberapa dibagian tumbuhan sungkai dan lerak

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage yield and industrial waste of barking galam (Melaleuca leucadendron) in Liang Anggang District, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan and correlation between the thickness of galam skin and the yield of galam wood in the skinning process. The results showed that the value of the percentage of natural yield obtained by the smallest average in the Riski trading unit was 73.63%. The largest percentage of yield value was found in the Sapri trading unit of 77.71%. The smallest waste was obtained in the Sapri trading unit of 22.29%, followed by the Hj trading unit. Ainah (23.76%), and the trading unit Riski (26.37%). The relationship or correlation between galam shell thickness (variable X) and yield (variable Y) resulted in an influential relationship between yield and thickness of galam shell. Galam bark affects the yield as much as 80% in each trading unit. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui persentase rendemen dan limbah industri pengulitan kayu galam (Melaleuca leucadendron) di Kecamatan Liang Anggang Kota Banjarbaru Kalimantan Selatan dan hubungan/korelasi antara ketebalan kulit galam dengan rendemen kayu galam dalam proses pengulitan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Nilai persentasi rendemen galam didapatkan rata-rata terkecil pada unit dagang Riski sebesar 73,63%. Persentasi nilai rendemen terbesar didapatkan pada unit dagang Sapri sebesar 77,71%. Limbah terkecil didapat pada unit dagang Sapri sebesar 22,29% yang diikuti unit dagang Hj. Ainah (23,76%), dan unit dagang Riski (26,37%). Hubungan atau korelasi antara ketebalan kulit galam (Variabel X) dan rendemen (variabel Y) meghasilkan hubungan yang bepengaruh antara rendemen dan ketebalan kulit galam. Kulit kayu galam mempengaruhi rendemen sebanyak 80% disetiap unit dagang.

Abstract

Indonesia is overgrown with various kinds of plants that are often used by the community as traditional medicine. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the distribution of medicinal plants based on a geographic information system which aims to determine the distribution of medicinal plants in Tebing Siring Village, Bajuin District, Tanah Laut Regency in order to provide information and add insight to the community about the distribution of medicinal plants in Mount Batu and Mount Langkaras, Tebing Siring Village, Bajuin District, Tanah Laut Regency. The data processing used in this study was two kinds of primary data and secondary data, while the data analysis used the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) analysis method. The result of this study is the distribution of medicinal plants in the area of Mount Batu and Mount Langkaras, Tebing Siring Village, Bajuin District, Tanah Laut Regency, there are 2 types of tree habitus, namely Eucalyptus and Eucalyptus. The NDVI value in Eucalyptus and Eucalyptus Plants has a range of values of 0.42 – 0.76 which means that these two types of plants are suitable and easily adapted to the environment there so that the vegetation that lives is healthy.Indonesia banyak ditumbuhi berbagai macam tumbuhan yang sering dimanfaatkan masyarakat sebagai obat tradisional. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai sebaran tanaman obat berbasis sistem informasi geografis yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebaran tanaman obat di Desa Tebing Siring, Kecamatan Bajuin, Kabupaten Tanah Laut guna memberikan informasi dan menambah wawasan kepada masyarakat mengenai penyebaran tanaman obat di Gunung Batu dan Gunung Langkaras Desa Tebing Siring, Kecamatan Bajuin, Kabupaten Tanah Laut tersebut. Pengolahan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ada dua macam data primer dan data sekunder, sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan metode analisis NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Indeks). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penyebaran tanaman obat di wilayah Gunung Batu dan Gunung Langkaras Desa Tebing Siring, Kecamatan Bajuin, Kabupaten Tanah Laut terdapat 2 jenis habitus pohon yaitu Ekaliptus dan Kayu Putih. Nilai NDVI pada Tanaman Eukaliptus dan Kayu Putih memiliki rentang nilai 0,42 – 0,76 yang berarti bahwa kedua jenis tanaman ini cocok dan mudah beradaptasi dengan lingkungan disana sehingga vegetasi yang hidup sehat

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the machines in the plywood production process at PT. Basirih Industrial. The method used includes the process of collecting data in the form of observations, interviews, and literature studies, as well as descriptive data analysis in the form of tables and calculation graphs which are then analyzed using the Effectiveness and Efficiency formula. The effectiveness value of using machines in one series at PT Basirih Industrial has reached a high effectiveness value of 100% on seven machines in the plywood production process including the Log cutting, Rotary, Continues Dryer, Glue Spreader, Hot press, Composser and Scraf joint stages and two the engine value is not high, namely at the Sizer and Sander stages it only reaches 91.66% and the engine efficiency value at PT Basirih Industrial ranges from 54.02% - 96.15%. The most efficient stage in the production process is the Hot Press stage of 96% and the lowest efficiency is the Composer, Sander and Rotary respectively 54.02%, 66.57% and 66.66%.Tujuan dari penelitian ialah menganalisis dari nilai efektifitas dan efisiensi mesin-mesin pada proses produksi di industri kayu lapis di PT. Basirih Industrial. Metode yang digunakan meliputi dari kumpulan data berupa data observasi, tahap wawancara, dan metode studi pustaka, serta analisis data secara deskriftif berupa tabel serta grafik hasil perhitungan yang selanjutya dianalisis menggunakan rumus Efektifitas dan Efesiensi. Nilai dari efektifitas penggunaan mesin pada satu rangkaian di PT Basirih Industrial sudah mencapai nilai efektifitas yang tinggi sebesar 100% pada tujuh mesin tahap proses produksi kayu lapis diantaranya tahap Log cutting, Rotary, Continues Dryer, Glue Spreader, Hot press, Composser dan Scraf joint dan dua mesin nilainya belunn tinggi yaitu pada tahap Sizer dan Sander hanya mencapai 91,66% dan Nilai efisiensi mesin pada PT Basirih Industrial berkisar antara 54,02% - 96,15%. Tahap yang paling efisien dalam proses produksi yaitu tahap Hot Press sebesar 96% dan efisiensi paling rendah yaitu pada Composer, Sander dan Rotary masing – masing 54,02%, 66,57% dan 66,66%.

Abstract

Companies should maintain and manage their human resources optimally. In this case, occupational safety and health can be very useful for the company because it is part of the prevention factor for the accident risk in workplace. That is why the company must implement the stages and regulations regarding occupational health and safety, so as to reduce work accidents. The purpose of this study was to analyze the extent to which the Occupational Health and Safety Program was implemented in each department at PT Basirih Industrial. The data collection procedure used is a questionnaire, interview and the data documentation is obtained from each department. Based on data processing and analysis on the application of OSH at PT Basirih Industrial, it has a total achievement value of 97.73%Perusahaan harusnya memelihara juga mengelola dengan maksimal sumber daya manusianya. Dalam hal ini keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja sangat berguna bagi perusahaan karena bagian dari faktor pencegahan resiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Oleh sebab itu perusahaan harus menerapkan tahapan-tahapan dan peraturan tentang kesehatan kerja dan keselamatan, sehingga mampu berkurang kecelakaan kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sejauh mana penerapan Program Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja, pada setiap masing-masing departemen di PT Basirih Industrial. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara angket/kuesioner dan dokumentasi data tersebut diperoleh dari setiap masing-masing departemen. Berdasarkan pengolahan data dan analisis tentang penerapan K3 di PT Basirih Industrial memiliki nilai ketercapaian total 97,73%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the productivity and yield of purun danau woven crafts in the form of mats and tote bags of the community in Pembelacanan Village, South Kelumpang District, Kotabaru Regency. Data were collected through direct observation in the field and interviews with craftsmen. One mat with a size of 250 x 125 cm2 can be processed with a working time of 9:12.44 or equivalent to 0.10-0.12 parts per hour. The processing of one tote bag with a size 25x15x21 cm3 takes 1:17.12 or the equivalent of 0.67-0.86 parts per hour. The average yield of woven mats is 82.68%, and tote bag is 71.81%.Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah menganalisis besarnya produktivitas dan rendemen kerajinan anyaman purun danau berupa tikar, dan tas binting dari masyarakat di Desa Pembelacanan Kecamatan Kelumpang Selatan Kabupaten Kotabaru. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan langsung di lapangan dan wawancara dengan para pengrajin.  Satu buah purun dengan ukuran 250 x 125 cm2 dapat diolah dengan waktu pekerjaan selama 9:12.44 atau setara dengan 0,10-0,12 bagian per jam.  Pengolahan satu buah tas binting berukuran 25x15x21 cm3 memerlukan waktu 1:17.12 atau setara dengan 0,67-0,86 bagian per jam.  Rata-rata rendemen kerajinan anyaman tikar adalah 82,68%, dan tas binting sebesar 71,81%.

Abstract

Swallow nest is a non-timber forest product which is a promising business opportunity because it has a high selling value. This study aims to analyze the effect of swallow house size on swallow nest production in Oka-Oka Village, Pulau Laut Kepulauan Sub-District, Kotabaru Regency. Data were collected using direct interviews with 15 swallow house owners. Data analysis used simple linear regression. The results showed that the size of the swallow's house only had a 10% effect on the production of swallow's nest. As for the age of the swallow house, this is the main factor with a 67% level of influence on the production of swallow’s nest. This data indicate that the older the age of a swallow's house, the higher the production of swallow's nest. Farmers sell swallow nests directly to collective traders who come to their villages. Swallow's nests are priced at IDR 9,500,000 per kilo or IDR 950,000 per ounce. This price determined unilaterally by the collective trader.Sarang burung walet merupakan Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu yang menjadi salah satu peluang usaha yang menjanjikan karena mempunyai nilai jual yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh ukuran rumah walet terhadap produksi sarang walet di Desa Oka-Oka Kecamatan Pulau Laut Kepulauan Kabupaten Kotabaru. Pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara langsung kepada 15 orang pemilik rumah walet. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran rumah walet hanya 10% pengaruhnya terhadap produksi sarang walet. Umur bangunan rumah walet yang menjadi faktor utama dengan 67% tingkat pengaruhnya terhadap produksi sarang walet. Data ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tua umur suatu bangunan rumah walet maka semakin tinggi produksi sarang walet.  Peternak menjual sarang walet langsung kepada pedagang pengumpul yang datang ke desa mereka.
