Abstract

Berdasarkan pengalaman peneliti selama mengajarkan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesiadengan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dengan menggunakan (media gambar) modelPicture And Picture di kelas 1 Sdn 126 Inpres Garampa’, Kecamatan Sangalla, KabupatenTana Toraja dan hasil wawancara dengan guru kelas I atas pengalamannya mengajarkanbahasa Indonesia, kurang melibatkan siswa secara langsung dalam proses pembelajaran,kurang memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengimplementasikan pengetahuan yangdimilikinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran PictureAnd Picture dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pada siswa kelas I SDN 126Inpres Garampa’, Kecamatan Sangalla’, Kabupaten Tana Toraja, dengan jumlah siswa 14orang siswa yang terdiri dari 5 perempuan dan 9 laki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakanpendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian tindakankelas ini terdiri dari 2 siklus dan setiap siklus dilakukan 2 kali pertemuan melalui 4 tahapyaitu: Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Observasi, dan Refleksi. Jenis pengumpulan data yangdigunakan adalah 1) Tes 2) Observasi 3) Rubrik 4) Wawancara 5) Dokumentasi. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa pada siswa kelasI SDN 126 Inpres Garampa’ setelah diterapkannya model Picture And Picture dengannilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I mencapai 70,71 dengan ketuntasan 64,28% dan nilairata-rata siswa pada siklus II meningkat dengan mencapai 85,00 dengan ketuntasan92,85%. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada setiap pembelajaran maka kemampuan membacasiswa kelas I SDN 126 Inpres Garampa’ mengalami peningkatan dengan menggunakanmodel Picture and Picture.

Abstract

Local wisdom is the originality of an area that distinguishes it from other regions both in terms of meaning and the value it contains. The Toraja tribe, which is located in the province of South Sulawesi, has a strong oral culture so that information is passed down by word of mouth, not in the form of writing or inscriptions. One of the local wisdoms of Toraja culture that is rarely written about is Ma’kombongan . Ma' Kombongan culture as a local wisdom has a strong enough role in the existence of the Tana Toraja people. Ma’kombongan can be said as a form of democratic government of the Toraja people before the current system of government. Therefore, it is important to write articles to see the role of ma’kombongan in creating harmony in Toraja society. This study uses a qualitative research method with data collection through observation and interviews with traditional shops, religious shops, indigenous peoples, and the government. The results of the research illustrate that the ma’kombongan process is carried out in customary areas in various ways such as Rambu solo, rambu tuka', a place to solve problems, resolve conflicts, and as a place for customary justice. The implications of the research provide insight into how important ma’kombongan is in forming harmonization in Toraja society. The research also has implications for the development of social knowledge, especially for creating social integration in society.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify and deepen the Ma'kombongan culture in the Toraja community as a collaborative learning model. In addition, the appointment of Ma'kombongan will preserve Torajan cultural values ​​in modern times. This study uses a qualitative research approach with data collection techniques through literature reviews and interviews with experts, traditional elders, and businesses of the Torajan community. The data was collected and the data coded. The research was conducted in three phases, the first phase was to collect studies in the form of books and to identify community leaders who were knowledgeable on the subject. The second stage is to conduct a literature review and interviews with community leaders. The third stage is to analyze the collected data to formulate a clear argument regarding the identification of Ma'kombongan as a learning model for group investigations. Abstract

The native knowledge of Indonesia, including the Toraja, is slowly fading as other cultures take over. As a result, promoting learning grounded in local knowledge through Bahasa Toraja's local content is essential. Examining the prerequisites for instructors and students to understand local content in primary schools is the goal of this study. In line with that, this research aims to define the teaching standards and learn Bahasa Toraja's regional components. This is necessary to fulfill its purpose as a venue for introducing and maintaining local wisdom and to make the previously unappealing and in-demand process of learning local material engaging. This research is of the mixed method type. This mixed-method research uses a sequential explanatory approach. This research was conducted for grade IV elementary school students at SD N 1 Kepe' for the 2021/2022 school year, North Toraja. Miles and Huberman's model was used to analyze the data, consisting of three key steps: data reduction, data presentation, and findings. The study's findings indicate that to increase the quality of the local content of the Toraja language to maintain Toraja culture and local knowledge, students' and instructors' demands in learning the local content of the Toraja language must be taken into account.

Abstract

Keterampilan berkomuniasi dengan wisatawan mancanegara dan wisatawan domestik. Berdasarkan pertimbangan potensi Pemuda Toraja Utara, di Tangrante sebagai daerah kawasan pariwisata, maka program ini didesain berkenaan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi SDM terutama Generasi muda desa Tikala dengan dua fokus yaitu: Kompetensi Bahasa Inggris Praktis. Tujuan Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini ini adalah (1) membantu kemampuan berbahasa Inggris praktis, (2) menyiapkan SDM pariwisata yang memiliki kompetensi dan wawasan kepariwisataan yang luas dan kompetensi berbahasa Inggris Praktis. Metode yang digunakan adalah role play atau praktek langsung. Indikatornya dapat dilihat dari sisi peserta, yakni melebihi dari yang direncanakan, yaitu 30 orang, namun yang hadir 49 orang. Materi sajian mencapai 90% dari target ideal yang diharapkan (80%). Daya serap mencapai di atas 60% dari target ideal. Kemampuan berbahasa yang terdiri dari ketrampilan berbicara, membaca, menulis dan menyimak mencapai 50% dari target ideal yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Weeds are plants that disturb or harm human interests, especially in the process of plant growth. Weeds are one of the main factors that can cause a decrease in agricultural yields. Weeds can also harm farmers or agricultural businesses by reducing the quality of agricultural production. Weed control or weeding can be done by means of preventive, mechanical, biological, technical culture, chemical and synthetic. Weed control with herbicides is the main choice compared to other methods because they are considered more effective in controlling weeds, besides being more cost-effective and time-effective. Weeding is an effort that must be done against it so as not to inhibit plant growth. With this activity, it can increase the community's ability to use palm vinegar as a natural herbicide to help farmers increase their crop yields, reduce the use of incendiary herbicides in weed control so as to increase the community's ability in organic farming.

Abstract

Civic Education learning is considered boring by some students, mainly because the subject matter and delivery are presented in a one-way format. Civic Education in higher education should transition to a problem-based learning approach, making it more contextual and dynamic. Civic Education in college shouldn't be monotonous memorization; instead, it should focus on enhancing analytical and applicative thinking skills and the ability to provide input on existing phenomena or issues. Therefore, a learning model that encourages active student participation, such as the problem-based , is needed. This model aims to explore the depth of controversial issues discussed by students. The research results reveal the controversial issues and how the ma'kombongan-based group investigation process can improve students' analytical skills and reasoning abilities.

Abstract

Materi politik merupakan subbagian dari mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganeraan yang termuat dalam materi pemilu dan demokrasi. Hasil observasi awal di kelas VI di SD Kristen Rantepao 5 Kabupaten Toraja menunjukkan kurangnya minat anak dalam pelajar pendidikan politik yang disebabkan pengunaan metode yang kurang tepat yaitu metode ceramah. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi politik pada pelajaran PKn mengunakan metode role playing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkat pemahaman politik siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil siklus kedua yang menunjukkan nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 85,12.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang tantangan yang dihadapi Ideologi Pancasila pada masa kini. Pancasila sendiri mendapat tantangan yang justru berasal dari dalam negeri sendiri dengan berbagai masalah seperti menguatnya isu pergantian dasar negara, marak berita hoax yang mengarah pada politik identitas yang mengancam disintegrasi bangsa. Hasil kajian dari tulisan ini bahwa pemerintah perlu melakukan antisipasi terhadap persoalan ini, dengan penanaman nilai luhur Pancasila dan melihat bahwa Pancasila merupakan ideologi terbuka dan ideologi pemersatu.

Abstract

Penyebaran Covid-19 berdampak besar bagi masyarakat dan dunia pendidikan di Indonesia. Perubahan paling dirasakan ialah pergantian bentukpembelajar yang tadinya dilakukan dalam tatap muka di kelas diganti menjadipembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring). Pembelajaran daring harus dilakukan 100 persen tanpa pilihan untuk menghindari Penyebaran Covid-19 sedangkan tidak semua daerah siap dengan system Pembelajaran Daring. Maka dari itu tulisan ini membahas tentang fakta dari pembelajaran dari di wilayah daerah yang secara infrastruktur belum siap.Penelitian dikaji dari hasil wawancara dan sumber-sumber data lainnya.
