Abstract

Kemampuan literasi matematis siswa di Indonesia menurut studi PISA masih tergolong rendah, berdasarkan hasil PISA pada tahun 2018 siswa Indonesia menduduki peringkat 73 dari 79 negara. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui lebih dalam kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas VII MTsS Rambatan pada kelompok rendah, kelompok sedang dan kelompok tinggi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian gabungan (mix method) dengan desain concurrent triangulation. Populasi dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 sekolah yang terdiri dari 87 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yaitu tes dan wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar, studi hasil kerja siswa, dan wawancara. Disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan literasi matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran CPS lebih baik dari pada kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional dengan thitung > ttabel yaitu   2,83 > 1,70. Kemampuan literasi matematis dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran CPS setelah tes dan hasil wawancara ditemukan hasil bahwa siswa kelompok rendah hanya mampu mencapai 2 level kemampuan literasi matematis. Pada siswa kelompok sedang sudah mampu mencapai 4  level kemampuan literasi matematis. Sedangkan untuk siswa kelompok tinggi sudah mampu mencapai 6 level kemampuan literasi matematis.

Abstract

Pada tahun 2011 Kuliner Jagung Super Manis F1 Aina Batuhampar Kab. Lima Puluh Kota mengalami kerugian karena konsumen tidak berminat lagi untuk membeli pergedel dan rebus jagung. Kemudian produsen melakukan inovasi produk. Harga yang ditawarkan F1 Aina lebih tinggi dari kuliner pesaing di sekitar lokasi, namun peminatnya tetap banyak. Tujuan  penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh inovasi produk dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Kuliner Jagung Super Manis F1 Aina Batuhampar Kab. Lima Puluh Kota. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan metode deskriptif pendekatan kuantitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebanyak 96 responden, dengan mendapatkan data-data dari konsumen yang berisi tentang pernyataan dari variabel Inovasi Produk, harga dan keputusan pembelian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi software SPSS 22 (Statistical Product And Service Solutions).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Inovasi produk secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai thitung (3,955) > ttabel (1,661). Sedangkan harga secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai thitung (1,484) > ttabel (1,661). Secara bersama-sama inovasi produk dan harga berpengaruh pada keputusan pembelian dengan nilai 19,2%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan membilang pada anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Pembina Utara Payakumbuh yang disebabkan oleh media yang digunakan kurang menarik bagi anak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk membantu anak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membilang melalui permainan puzzle, karena permainan puzzle adalah permainan yang menarik bagi anak dan dapat melatih kemampuan anak dalam membilang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimental. Desain penelitian yaitu dengan tipe one group pretest-postest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa TK yang berada di TK Pembina Utara Payakumbuh yang mana sampel penelitian ini adalah kelompok B2 TK Pembina Utara Payakumbuh yang terdiri dari 16 orang anak. Pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelompok B2 sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini yang berjumlah 16 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes berupa lembar kemampuan membilang anak, dan pengujian hipotesis dengan uji statistik (uji-t). Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan di TK pembina Utara Payakumbuh, secara deskriptif terjadi peningkatan kemampuan membilang setelah menerapkan permainan puzzle, dengan kategori kemampuan sedang (N-gain = 0,59). Selanjutnya secara inferensial di peroleh thitung = 4,03 dan ttabel = 2,95. Dengan demikian thitung ttabel, berarti terdapat peningkatan kemampuan membilang anak setelah menerapkan permainan puzzle. AbstractThis research is motivated by the low ability to say to children in the North Peyakumbuh Kindergarten, which is caused by the media used less attractive to children. The research aims to help children improve their ability to say through puzzle games, because puzzle games are games that are interesting for children and can train children’s abilities in numeracy. This study uses a quantitative method with a type of pre-experimental research. The research design is by type one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were kindergarten students who were in the North Pembakumbuh Kindergarten Kindergarten where the sample of this study was a group of B2 North Kindergarten Payakumbuh consisting of 16 children. The sampling is by using purposive sampling technique, namely group B2 as a sample in this study which amounted to 16 people. The research instrument used was a test in the form of a child ability ability sheet, and hypothesis testing with a statistical test (t-test). Based on the research conducted at the North Kindergarten supervisor of Payakumbuh, descriptively there was an increase in the ability to say after applying puzzle games, with a medium ability category (N-gain = 0.59). Furthermore, inferentially obtained tcount = 4.03 and ttable = 2.95. tcount ttable, means that there is an increase in the ability to say children after applying a puzzle game.

Abstract

The lack of students’ awareness and comprehension in solving math problems was the research background. The teacher only emphasizes the results and does not evaluate the process of students’ cognitive aspects and their awareness in answering the questions. The purpose of this research is to figure out how the metacognition abilities of male and female students solve math problems. The research design was descriptive research. The techniques of data collection were a test for measuring students’ metacognition ability in solving math problems, students’ worksheet, and interview. Then, it was analyzed through scoring procedures, tabulating data and determining the category of metacognition abilities. Meanwhile, the data from interview were analyzed by conducting several procedures such as reducing data, providing data, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed there were no differences in the metacognition abilities between male and female students.

Abstract

One of the causes of students’ low in comprehending concepts in learning mathematics is the teacher centered teaching method. One alternative that can be proposed to solve the problem is by employing contextual learning approach through TPS-Berempat cooperative learning. This study therefore aimed at figuring out whether the students’ concept which was taught by  TPS-Berempat cooperative learning model is better than that by the conventional one and whether the components of the model existed. The participants of the research were the seventh grade students of SMP N 20 Padang in 2009/2010 academic year. Quasi Experimental method using Posttest Control Group Design was employed. Experimental group was treated by using contextual learning approach while the control one by using conventional. The data was taken from achievement test. The result of the analysis showed that the components of the contextual learning appeared well and students’ comprehension toward the concept which was taught by contextual learning in mathematics was better than that of by the conventional one.Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep, pendekatan kontekstual, kooperatif  TPS-berempat

Abstract

This research was motivated by a fact that some of students of mathematics study program at STAIN Batusangkar have low ability in mathematics communication and mathematics disposition on Geometry subject. This is indicated by the students’ inability to answer the questions on mathematics communication. In order to solve this problem, the researcher designed a research on learning strategy using Problem-based in Geometry subject. This research applied experimental method using randomized control group only design. The population of this research was the third semester students registered in 2014/2015 academic year. They consisted of three classes. The data were taken from the final test of each sample. The research findings show that the two hypotheses were accepted. Therefore, students’ ability was better in mathematics communication by applying learning strategy using problem-based than conventional learning. In addition to this, students’ ability was better in mathematics disposition by using learning strategy using problem-based than conventional learning.Kata kunci:    Kemampuan komunikasi, disposisi matematis, dan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah

Abstract

This research was inspired from the result of a research under the title: “Analisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahassiswa program studi tadris matematika.” This research was done to know and describe how was the students’ ability to solve mathematic probelm as math teacher candidate in Geometri Transformasi subject registered in 2012/2013 academic year of Mathematic department of Tarbiyah Faculty of STAIN Batusangkar. The design of this research was the combination of quantitative and qualitative by using descriptive approach. The instrument of this research was test and interview. The data was analyzed through data triangulation, data reduction, data presentation, and making conclusion. The result of the research showed that the students’ ability from high group was very satisfactory. The students’ ability from avarage group was satisfactory. And, the students’ ability from low group was almost satisfactory.Kata kunci: Kemampuan pemecahan masalah, matematis
