Abstract

Empowerment derived from the word ?power?. Therefore, the main idea of empowerment in contact with the concept of power. Meanwhile, the authority itself is often attributed with the ability to make other people do what we want, regardless of their wishes and interests. Empowerment refers to the ability of the people, especially the weak and vulnerable groups so that they have the ability in some respects. This in turn makes the praxis of empowerment of communities on the territory of the literacy movement. The inclusion of community empowerment on the literacy movement to make the movement experienced a transformation from the previous only general movement based on issues that are more specific, one that is in the Pondok Sinau Lentera Anak Nusantara as setting research. The purpose of this research is to know the realization community empowerment-based literacy movement and the impact of socio-economic change in the surrounding communities. By using the theory of community empowerment and literacy theory and qualitative descriptive method, it can be noted that there is a relationship between the empowerment of community-based literacy movement toward socio-economic changes in the surrounding communities. The background and the focus of community empowerment-based literacy movement in Pondok Sinau Lentera Anak Nusantara is as follows: (1) the existence of empowerment-based literacy movement in Pondok Sinau Lentera Anak Nusantara the answer to the problems of social-historical territory of the village; (2) the realization of the empowerment funded based on the principle of volunteerism and independence; (3) the main focus of the activities of empowerment is the transformation of the values of the characters building for the productive age group as well as encourage socio-economic independence based on a series of soft skill thematic activities.

Abstract

Usaha ritel modern di daerah pedesaan tidak dilarang di Kabupaten Malang karena pelarangan dianggap sebagai bentuk kebijakan yang menghalangi iklim investasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Namun, pemilik toko tradisional berpendapat sebaliknya; pendirian ritel di dekat usaha mereka dianggap mengancam bisnisnya. Oleh karena itu, Pemerintah Kabupaten Malang perlu mengatur jumlah, jarak, dan sebaran usaha ritel modern di daerah pedesaan agar tidak mematikan pedagang tradisional. Abstract

Abstract. Amadanom Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency is known as Robusta coffee granary but at present there are problems faced by coffee farmers in Amadanom Village. The problem is about the regeneration of coffee farmers who are hampered by the lack of interest in the young generation in Amadanom Village to continue their parents' profession as coffee farmers. So, in this service program we focus the program on coffee literacy classes which are held intensively for 30 days. The purpose of this activity is to encourage young people in Amadanom Village to continue their parents' work as coffee farmers. The method of activities that we do is to hold workshops that bring experts in the fields of Branding, Information Technology, Agrotechnology and Online Marketing. This community service has succeeded in forming a Young Farmers Group who is committed to continuing the profession of their parents as coffee farmers in Amadanom Village.Abstrak. Desa Amadanom, Kecamatan Dampit, Kabupaten Malang dikenal sebagai lumbung kopi robusta namun pada saat ini ada permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para petani kopi di Desa Amadanom. Masalah itu adalah tentang regenerasi petani kopi yang terhambat akibat dari kurang berminatnya generasi muda di Desa Amadanom untuk melanjutkan profesi orang tuanya sebagai petani kopi. Maka, dalam program pengabdian ini kami memfokuskan program pada kelas literasi kopi yang diadakan secara intensif selama 30 hari. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah mendorong generasi muda di Desa Amadanom untuk melanjutkan pekerjaan orang tuanya menjadi petani kopi.  Adapun metode kegiatan yang kami lakukan adalah dengan mengadakan workshop yang mendatangkan para ahli di bidang Branding, Teknologi Informasi, Agroteknologi dan Marketing Online. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil membentuk Kelompok Petani Muda yang berkomitmen untuk meneruskan Profesi orang tuanya sebagai petani kopi di Desa Amadanom.

Abstract

Panti Asuhan Putri Aisyiyah Malang merupakan Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) yang harus mendapat akreditasi. Akreditasi dilakukan terhadap lembaga di bidang kesejahteraan sosial baik milik pemerintah, pemerintah daerah, maupun masyarakat. Akreditasi bertujuan: (a) melindungi masyarakat dari penyalahgunaan praktik pekerjaan sosial yang dilakukan oleh lembaga di bidang kesejahteraan sosial; (b) meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesejahteraan sosial yang dilakukan oleh lembaga di bidang kesejahteraan sosial; (c) memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat akan pelayanan kesejahteraan sosial; dan (d) meningkatkan peran aktif pemerintah, pemerintah daerah, dan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan kesejahteraan sosial. Kegiatan ini merupakan upaya dalam membantu pengurus dan pengelola Panti Asuhan Putri Aisyiyah Malang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam pengelolaan Panti Asuhan, serta mempersiapkan diri dalam menghadapi proses akreditasi Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA). Bentuk kegiatan ini berupa sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan bantuan barang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan kemampuan pengurus dan pengelola Panti Asuhan Putri Aisyiyah Kota Malang dalam pengelolaan panti mengalami peningkatan dan telah memenuhi syarat sesuai standar akreditasi Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA).

Abstract

With the development of technology, inevitably the world of education will be required to be able to recognize technology, mingle with technology, and master technology. One of them is in the field of computer graphic design. To fulfill these needs, he provided Canva Design Computer training for teenagers in Mojosari Village, Kepanjen Malang. The purpose of this activity is to improve Computer Graphic Design skills using Canva which is simple and easy to learn. From the evaluation of community service activities that have been carried out, it is clear that this training can provide benefits, is targeted and effective in providing new knowledge in the field of Computer Graphic Design.

Abstract

It is undeniable that during the Covid-19 pandemic all community activities  are limited to direct interactions. One of the limits of activity is in the area of library services, where there are two services that libraries have to offer: physical  lending  and electronic  lending. There are several barriers that libraries encounter in relation to e-book lending services. For example, low technical proficiency, limited equipment and infrastructure, internet network, and cost. Therefore, in order to solve these problems, we applied the method of user-centered design to system development, built a user-friendly and user-friendly mobile-based electronic library, and built visitor-library relationship management. The development of this library service system application uses a linear sequential method (waterfall). The waterfall methodology is a systematic, sequential software development method that starts at the system level and progresses through analysis, design, code, testing, and maintenance. Below are the stages of the waterfall model. E-library results have several features for restricting access rights, such as: B. Limitation on number of books and loan period. The resulting application has the main function of being able to protect your digital works in use. That is, restricting borrowed digital works to specific devices.

Abstract

Social policy is a form of public policy which is a government decision made to respond to issues of a public nature, namely overcoming social problems or meeting the needs of the public at large. Social policy is also a provision designed collectively to prevent social problems (preventive function), overcome social problems (curative function) and promote welfare (development function) as a form of state obligation in fulfilling the rights of its citizens. In other terms, social policy can be said to be a social aspect, that is, something related to the field of social welfare. Social policies are the principles, procedures and procedures of existing laws, which serve as administrative and regulatory guidelines for institutions that affect public welfare. By using a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, the research conducted at the Malang Regency Social Service found that there were various stakeholders involved in various preventive, rehabilitative and prosecution efforts against the perpetrators of the crime of human trafficking. But the results have not been optimal due to several main things, including the absence of a Regional Regulation that explicitly discusses anti-human trafficking. In addition, the commitment of local governments to human resource development, especially targeting vulnerable socio-economic groups to become victims of the criminal act of trafficking in persons, is still not maximal.
