Abstract

The Variability of Soil Macrofauna on Palawija Cropping of Dry Land in The Rainfall Season. The variability of Soil macrofauna is the one of biological natural resources that very useful for the environment. Their existence affected by biotic and abiotic factors around them. Soil macrofauna variability that exists on the dry land in palawija cropping will be different from the vegetation of forest. The aim of this research is to know the effect of the palawija cropping to soil macrofauna variability on the dry land in the rainfall season. The research was conducted on November 2006‐April 2007. This research is descriptive explorative that has quantitative and qualitative ones with the field survey and laboratory analysis approach. The technique of determination sampling location based on purposive sampling system. The taking of sample has been done in 3 locations under 3 palawija cropping (maize, peanut, and soybean) as much 3 times replication in the rainfall times (December 2006‐Februari 2007). The result shows that palawija cropping influences non significantly to the macrofauna variability on the soil surface, soil macrofauna variability under soil surface and environment variables that have been observed unless to bulk density (influences significantly). The highest macrofauna variability on the soil surface occurs in maize cropping. Whether under soil surface macrofauna variability occurs in peanut cropping. There were five Ordos of macrofauna on the soil surface that found in maize cropping, Hymenoptera, Araneida, Orthoptera, Diplura, and Collembola (mesofauna). Ten Ordos of macrofauna under soil surface that found under peanut cropping were Hymenoptera, Isoptera, Oligochaeta, Diptera, Homoptera, Hemiptera, Orthoptera, Araneida, Lepidoptera and Collembola (mesofauna). It was found that dominancy of the ordo of macrofauna on the soil surface from ordo Hymenoptera in maize cropping and ordo Orthoptera in peanut and soybean cropping. The dominancy of soil macrofauna under soil surface was from ordo Hymenoptera and was found under maize and peanut cropping and Oligochaeta in soybean cropping. There were positive and negative functions of soil macrofauna. The positive ones are as a predator and decomposer of organic material. Whether the negative are as virus vector and plant disease. Abstract

Title : The Balance of Organic and Inorganic Fertilizer on the Carrot Field (Daucus carota L.) at Andisols Tawangmangu. This experiment research was conducted on September – December 2007 in Blumbang, Sub district Tawangmangu, Karanganyar. The aim of this research was to know the effect of balance organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer to the carrot quality in Andisols, Tawangmangu. This experiment used RCBD (Randomized Complete Block Design) with organic fertilizer factor (0%, 50% and 100% organic fertilizer) and inorganic fertilizer factor (0%, 50% and 100% inorganic fertilizer). Statistical analysis for the influence of the treatment was variant analysis with F-test and Kruskal-Wallis test. Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) was used to compare inter-treatment and for finding out of the relation inter-variable it was used correlation test. The result shows that the balance of organic and inorganic fertilizer have significant influence to the water content of carrot, the weight of carrot, the weight of dried carrot plant and the plant’s height, and have not significant influence to the carotene, carrot’s diameter, and carrot’s length. The lower water content of carrot was shown by the treatment of 100% organic fertilizer and 50% inorganic fertilizer. The treatment of 100% organic fertilizer and 100% inorganic fertilizer give the highest plant height and the weight of carrot per plant. To the soil, the balance of organic and inorganic fertilizer has significant influence to the total N of soil and to the available N of soil. It has not significant influence to the total P of soil and available P of soil, total K of soil and available K of soil. The result of correlation test showed there was positive correlation among carrot weight and water content of carrot. Keywords: Organic fertilizer, Inorganic Fertilizer, Carrot, Andisols.

Abstract

Title : Diversity and Ecological Services of Epigeic Macrofauna in Carrot Crop (Daucus carota L.) with Some Proportions of Organic and Inorganic Fertilizers. Recently ecological services by macrofauna diversity to sustainable production function of agroecosystem got a lot of attention. Epigeic macrofauna is diverse of macrofaunas which their life and activities are on the land surface, act as decomposer, litter transformer, and`predator, so they are important to keep ecosystem stability. Inorganic fertilizer usage continually on carrot crop without organic fertilizer can reduce soil macrofauna diversity. Improvement can be done by the use of organic and inorganic fertilizer equally. The aim of this research was to measure epigeic macrofauna diversity and their ecological services to carrot production by giving some proportions of organic and anorganic fertilizer. The research conducted in the end of December 2007 in a farmer field in Tawangmangu. It use RAKL (Random Completly Block Design) with single factor treatment. The treatment was fertilizer type usage proportion of organic and inorganic fertilizer. They were composed of 9 proporsition composition as follows: control, 50% inorganic fertilizer, 100% inorganic fertilizer, 50% organic fertilizer, 50% organic fertilizer added by 50% inorganic fertilizer, 50% organic fertilizer added by 100% inorganic fertilizer, 100% organic fertilizer, 100% organic fertilizer added by 50% inorganic fertilizer, 100% organic fertilizer added by 100% inorganic fertilizer. 100% inorganic fertilizer were composed of Urea 150 kg ha-1, SP 36 200 kg ha-1, and KCL 100 kg ha-1. 100% dosage organic fertilizer was 20 tons ha-1. To recognize the treatment effect is done by F test and close relationship among variables tested by corelation analysis. The result showed that organic and inorganic fertilizer proportion didn’t significant to diversity, population dencity and biomass epigeic macrofauna, but affected to β caroten content of carrot. Hymenoptera was dominant macrofauna in carrot crop. Macrofauna function to increase β caroten of carrot is indirect. Abstract

Abstract An incoherence sentence is a sentence whose content is out of a paragraph or text main topic. This research has a purpose to analyze the effects of incoherence sentence application in English undergraduate background thesis. There are four thesis background texts which were chosen carefully to be analyzed by using a case study design. Findings of this research show that information accuracy gets the worst effect of incoherence sentence application. Other effects are misleading concepts, hypotheses, and research frameworks. One interesting finding is that incoherent sentences can be applied unconsciously by writers. Besides, the effects of incoherent sentence application could also manipulate readers' agreement unconsciously. Avoiding applying incoherent sentences is a skill that must be trained by writers. All of the findings of this study are never found by other researchers. Also, the findings could be developed to construct steps of constructing a draft of effective writing for further study. The conclusion is that incoherent sentences must be avoided by writers because they could decrease the truthfulness and trustworthiness level of a text. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa efek-efek penggunaan kalimat tidak koheren pada penulisan empat buah latar belakang penelitian skripsi yang dipilih secara selektif. Penelitian ini telah diselesaikan dengan menggunakan design studi kasus. Temuan utama menunjukkan keakuratan informasi mendapatkan efek paling buruk dari penggunaan kalimat tidak koheren. Temuan lain menunjukkan akibat pada kesalahan penyampaian konsep, hipotesis, dan kerangka kerja penelitian. Hal menarik diantara semua temuan adalah penggunaan kalimat yang tidak koheren dapat dilakukan dengan tidak disadari oleh para penulis. Selain itu, efek lain dari penggunaan kalimat yang tidak koheren adalah para pembaca dapat sejutu dengan informasi yang salah dipahami tanpa mereka sadari. Menghindari penggunaan kalimat tidak koheren adalah satu keterampilan yang harus dilatih oleh para penulis. Semua temuan dalam artikel ini belum pernah ditemukan oleh para peneliti lain. Selain itu, semua temuan penelitian ini dapat dipakai untuk mengkonstruksi langkah-langkah dalam penulisan karya ilmiah pada penelitian di masa yang akan datang. Kesimpulan utama bahwa penggunaan kalimat tidak koheren harus dihindari oleh para penulis karena mereka dapat menurunkan tingkat kebenaran dan keterpercayaan pada text. Abstract

The low quality of education in Indonesia requires efforts to improve teacher performance as one of the factors that influence teaching efficiency. The importance of the role of teachers in learning, efforts are needed to improve teacher performance through a provision of guidance and also encouragement from the principal. Guidance for principals on teachers regarding learning activities is known as academic supervision. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of academic supervision on teacher performance. This research is an ex post facto study. Data processing begins with testing the validity and reliability of research instruments using the Cronbach's Alpha test. Furthermore, the analysis prerequisite test included normality tests and linearity tests. In order for teacher performance to increase, academic supervision must be carried out optimally. Recommendations based on the results of the study include the implementation of academic supervision, principals must pay more attention to aspects of supervision, while in terms of teacher teaching performance, teachers must further improve their performance, especially in aspects of learning evaluation and follow-up of student assessment result.

Abstract

Land suitability for particular uses is usually evaluated using land characteristics or land quality. Land suitability is crucial to determining the success of a plant's production. Janggelan plants are potential commodities that are potential to be developed. Technological opportunities and innovations in the development of Janggelan are very wide open, both as a source of food, biopharmaceutical, industrial, and trade. The cultivated land has been exported to Thailand, Vietnam and China in dry form. However, during this time, janggelan plants have not been developed and only planted as side crops in agroforestry. The purpose of this activity is the development of janggelan plant based on land suitability analysis in Pacitan Regency and increase the production of grass jelly in Pacitan regency.Keywords : janggelan, land suitability, Pacitan.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of leverage, insider ownership, investment opportunity set (IOS) and inflation on dividend decision. Besides, to prove the effect of leverage, insider ownership, investment opportunity set (IOS) and inflation on firm value through the role of dividend decision mediation and to determine the direct effect of dividend policy on a value of the firm in the consumer goods industry sector. The population is companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the IDX during the period 2010-2018. The sampling method uses purposive sampling technique — the total sample of 38 companies using 342-panel data. The analytical method used is path analysis. The results showed that insider ownership and investment opportunity set (IOS) significantly influence dividend decision. However, leverage and inflation do not affect the dividend decision. Also, insider ownership and inflation have a significant effect on the value of the firm, but leverage and investment opportunity sets (IOS) do not affect. Dividend decision affects the value of the firm; besides, dividend decision is proven to significantly play a role in mediating the influence of insider ownership and investment opportunity sets (IOS) on the value of the firm.

Abstract

The low level of taxpayer satisfaction with the quality of tax services causes the compliance of corporate taxpayers in reporting the annual corporate income tax return (SPT E Filing) at KPP Pratama Banyuwangi to decline. This study aims to determine the effect of tax service quality (Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy) on Corporate Taxpayer Compliance in Reporting Annual Income Tax Returns (SPT E Filing ) at KPP Pratama Banyuwangi. This research is quantitative research which includes correlation research. The population in this study were 1,472 corporate taxpayers in the form of a Commanditaire Venootschap or limited liability company (CV) that had submitted the 2020 Annual Corporate Income Tax Return by E Filing. Based on the table of F test results (simultaneous) it can be seen that the calculated F value (34.654) is greater than F table (F(0.05.5/308) = 2.243) and the Sig. in the table the value is 0.000 <0.05 so it can be concluded that the estimated linear regression model is feasible to use. This explains the significant effect of independent variables (Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy) simultaneously on the dependent variable (Taxpayer Compliance). The results of this study are in line with research conducted by Komala, et al (2014) which shows that the variables tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy have a significant influence simultaneously and partially on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

Background, excessive exploitation of paddy land in the long term without the addition of organic matter have resulted in soil become damaged. To meet the needs of food (rice) healthy and improve the functioning of the land, then there is no best alternative except development of organic farming systems. To be able to implement a system of organic farming, it is necessary to aplication of seed quality assurance. IbPUD activities carried out ini the village Ketapang, local village government has formed group of paddy organic farmers, but due to constraints in the available of seed rice organic . The purpose, carry out assistance to Farmers and Farmers Group in the establishment of the sources of seed organic rice and the acquisition of organic certification. The method, is Focus Group Discussion which emphasizes dialogue interpersosnal and mentoring. The program is implementing educational methods that involve the active participation of the participants from the three (3) groups of paddy organic farmers partners in Ketapang. The training was held in the form of : (1) seed rice breading management trainin, (2) training of organic rice management with the use of local waste and can be as alternative of organic fertilizers, and (3) training buines management.Results, an increasing number of farmers' groups who implement sources of seed organic rice of 4 (four) varietas (Mentik Susu, Mentik Wangi, Hitam Arang and Merah Anoman) to 3 farmer groups (15Ha). In conclusion, most members of the Farmers Group Al-Barokah have felt: (a) the benefit of the treatment of organic in terms of soil quality and the products of organic rice and its by-products, (b) an increase in value-added organic products and farmers' income, (c) the importance of maintaining paddy according to its function, (d) have become independent farmers in organic rice cultivation.Keywords: Organic farming systems, Organic certification, Interpersonal dialogue

Abstract

Peternakan di Indonesia didominasi oleh peternakan skala kecil. Peternak ini menjalankan sistem pemeliharaannya dengan sangat sederhana terutama perhitungan kebutuhan pakan belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan ternak. Permasalahan yang lain, saat musim hujan pakan hijauan berlimpah sedangkan di musim kemarau pakan hijauan, terutama rumput, jumlahnya terbatas, sehingga dibutuhkan teknologi pengawetan pakan saat pakan melimpah. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mentransfer IPTEK berupa pengolahan pakan fermentasi dengan menggunakan FJLB (fermented juice of ephypitic lactic acid bacteria) di Kelompok ternak Putra Rahayu dan Ngudi Rejeki di Kelurahan Tawang Rejo, Kecapatan Jatipurno, Kabupaten Wonogiri. Kelompok ternak di kelurahan ini beranggotakan petani-petani kecil, dimana kegiatan berternak adalah kerja sambilan dan bukan penghasilan utama. Sehingga rata-rata jumlah ternak yang dimiliki, khususnya ternak ruminansia hanya berkisar kurang dari 5 ekor. Pelatihan pembuatan silase pakan komplit ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Juni 2021. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini pemberian materi atau penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Metode pengambilan data adalah interview dan kuesioner. Tahapan pelatihan dimulai dengan pemberian materi kemudian praktik secara langsung. Mitra mencampur semua bahan konsentrat dan hijauan yang sudah dicacah kemudian dicampur dengan molases dan FJLB. Semua bahan kemudian dimasukkan ke dalam drum sampai padat dan ditutup rapat. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah peternak meningkat pengetahuannya tentang cara menyusun ransum, cara membuat silase, dan tahu cara membuat FJLB sebanyak 100%. Kegiatan pengabdian ini juga menghibahkan alat berupa pencacah rumput odot dan penggiling jagung. Melalui  kegiatan pengabdian ini diperoleh bahwa mitra meningkat pengetahuannya tentang fermentasi pakan silase dan cara pembuatannya. Livestock in Indonesia is dominated by small-scale livestock. This breeder runs a straightforward maintenance system and is not following good and successful farming methods. Feed technology is not yet known, especially the calculation of feed requirements of livestock. Small-scale farmers do not yet understand how to provide the daily amount of feed to their livestock. Another problem is that during the rainy season, forage feeds are abundant. In the dry season, forage feeds, especially grass, are limited, so feed preservation technology is needed in the rainy season so that it can be given during the dry season. This community service aimed to transfer science and technology to process fermented feed using FJLB (fermented juice of ephypitic lactic acid bacteria) in the Putra Rahayu and Ngudi Rejeki livestock groups in Tawang Rejo Village, Jatipurno District, Wonogiri Regency. The livestock group consists of small farmers, where livestock farming is only a side job and not the main income. So that the average number of livestock owned, especially ruminants, is only around five heads. This complete feed silage-making training was held on June 20, 2021. The methods used in this service were interviews, questionnaires and training. After training on making feed silage with FJLB, farmers increased their knowledge about how to prepare rations, how to make silage, and know how to make FJLB. Through this service, tools in the form of a mutton grass chopper and corn grinder are also provided, which are useful for farmers to feed livestock so that they are more efficient and can use the land around their homes for food source plants, namely elephant grass and corn. Through this service activity, it was found that partners increased their knowledge about fermented silage feed and how to make it.
