Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keuntungan usahatani cabai besar rata-rata per hektar di Kabupaten Jember. Data primer diperoleh dari 120 responden petani cabai besar di Kecamatan Wuluhan dan Kecamatan Ambulu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode Multistage Random Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan keuntungan absolut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Usahatani cabai besar di Kabupaten Jember memerlukan biaya produksi total rata-rata sebesar Rp53.532.193 per hektar, 2) Usahatani cabai besar di Kabupaten Jember menghasilkan penerimaan total rata-rata sebesar Rp180.210.264 juta per hektar. 3) Usahatani cabai besar di Kabupaten Jember menghasilkan keuntungan bersih rata-rata sebesar Rp126.678.071 juta per hektar.

This study aims to determine the total cost of production, revenue and income, and BEP of Big Chili farming per hectare in Jember Regency. Data was obtained from primary and secondary sources. Primary data was obtained from 120 farmers in Ambulu and Wuluhan Subdistricts (Big Chili farming centers in Jember Regency) by using a multistage sampling technique. Secondary data was obtained from the Agriculture Service and the Central Statistics Agency. This study uses the absolute Profit analysis and Break Event Point analysis. The results showed that big chilli farming per hectare in Jember Regency required a total production cost of Rp52.4 millions, resulting in a total revenue of Rp177.5 millions, and a net profit of Rp125.1 million. In addition, the minimum production of Big Chili farming in Jember Regency so that farmers do not experience losses is 3.771 kg per hectare. While the minimum price of Big Chili farming in Jember Regency so that farmers as not to suffer loss is Rp4.106 per kilogram.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriftif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Tugas Dan Fungsi BPD di Desa Sepakuan Kecamatan Balla Kabupaten Mamasa. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah informan kunci yang terdiri dari Kepala Desa, BPD, Ketua dan anggota DPRD dan informan non kunci seperti Sekretaris desa, aparat Desa lainnya dan tokoh-tokoh masyarakat di Desa Sepakuan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisa data kualitatif yaitu menguraikan serta menginterpretasikan data yang diperoleh di lapangan dari key informan. Adapun hasil penelitian dan Pembahasan yaitu Masih terdapat beberapa kelemahan dalam pengawasan pelaksanaan peraturan desa yang dilakukan oleh BPD Desa Sepakuan Kecamatan Balla dimana kurangnya pemahaman anggota BPD terhadap tugas fungsinya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa fungsi Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD) yaitu membahas dan menyepakati Rancangan Peraturan Desa, menampung aspirasi masyarakat, serta melakukan pengawasan kinerja Kepala Desa, sehingga dalam pembuatan regulasi lebih terlaksana dan terealisasi, berbeda dengan fungsi dalam menampung aspirasi masyarakat dan melakukan pengawasan kinerja Kepala Desa yang belum maksimal dalam pelaksanaannya dikarenakan kurangnya SDM dalam pemahaman anggota BPD terhadap tugas dan fungsinya berdasarkan peraturan yang berlaku.

Mandala College of Economics has long collaborated with the Jember Job Training Center (BLK). In early February 2022, a one-month training was held with a focus on training on Entrepreneurship. We saw a very interesting phenomenon from their enthusiasm in pioneering and running a business with enthusiasm and they (trainees) were very enthusiastic about participating in the training and asked a lot of questions and discussions. The core problems of the training participants include: 1. determining the right amount of product to be produced; 2. The increase in the price of feed resulted in an increase in the selling price of the eggs produced; 3. Online merchants have many competitors as well as their consumers who are already good at making direct purchases in marketplaces such as Shopee and Tokopedia; 4. Problems in marketing their services due to the many competitors, especially in the world of servicing motorcycles, cellphones, computers and so on. The results of this service include entrepreneurship training participants who have been able to apply the Monte Carlo technique, are able to calculate whether to buy or make related feed, have understood the importance of cooperation and strategies to shorten distribution channels in order to get a relatively cheap price, and finally the trainees have been able to apply personal selling and implementing excellent service for their customers, this is evident from the increase in their sales.

Kasiyan Timur Village, Puger District, is one of the villages that is very close to the center of the fish auction. In Kasiyan Timur Village, there is a group of housewives who make besek fish who share their problems with us. Their four problems. 1. The number of production results that do not meet expectations, in quantity cannot meet the daily target 2. Product quality is fragile and not precise. 3. Stagnant from scientific development, especially from the production side. 4. Want broader marketing reach. The solution we provide for this problem is in the form of training in marketing management and production management with the following main topics: increasing productivity with modern production tools towards production quantities that meet expectations. Utilization of modern production tools to produce quality products. Utilizing technology to increase knowledge towards intelligent human resources. Personal selling by implementing pick-up balls and utilizing social media as a marketing tool. Results of community service activities: 1. Able to read marketing opportunities via Facebook and Instagram. 2. Be more open with various knowledge in producing a product, the point is that they are currently very much utilizing YouTube and Google and social media in order to gain knowledge to facilitate their business, especially the science of producing. Already know and have bought a bamboo splitter at Tokopedia. It has been able to increase the quantity of production and maintain its quality, of course, because it has implemented production tools that are quite modern and make it very easy
