Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu wujud pengembangan keprofesianalan guru adalah menulis artikel ilmiah dan publikasi artikel ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, hendaknya guru terus belajar menulis artikel ilmiah untuk diseminarkan maupun dipublikasikan di jurnal. Kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru belum mampu menghasilkan dan melakukan publikasi ilmiah. Tujuan kegiatan pengaabdian ini adalah meningkatkan motivasi dan kemampuan guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian yang dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu persyaratan pengajuan kenaikan pangkat sehingga berdampak juga terhadap profesionalitas guru. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan simulasi. Kegiatan pelatihan penulissan artikel ilimah yang telah dilaksanakan dapat meningkatkan motivasi guru untuk menulis artikel ilmiah; guru memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan memilih tempat publikasi yang sesuai; guru memiliki pengetahuan tentang cara mencari sumber refrensi mutakhir melalui google scholar; guru memiliki pengetahuan tentang trik untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian; guru dapat mengetahui bagaimana membuat draft artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian sesuai dengan tamplate jurnal yang dituju; seluruh peserta pelatihan memiliki pandangan positif terhadap pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah dan memandang tingkat kebermanfaatan pelatihan pada tingkat bermanfaat dan sangat bermanfaat.AbstractOne form of teacher professional development is writing scientific articles and publishing scientific articles. Therefore, teachers should continue to learn to write scientific articles to be disseminated or published in journals. The reality on the ground shows that most teachers have not been able to produce and do scientific publications. The purpose of this service activity is toincrease the motivation and ability of teachers to write scientific articles from the results of research that can be used as one of the requirements for submission of promotions so that it also impacts on teacher professionalism. Community service activities carried out using lecture, question and answer and simulation methods. Abstract

Pemecahan masalah non-rutin merupakan salah satu aspek dari pengetahuan konten matematika yang harus dimiliki oleh calon guru matematika (MCGM). Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah non-rutin dari MCGM  pada topik segiempat berdasarkan kategori nilai mata kuliah geometri. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dilakukan pada 10 MCGM  yang merupakan mahasiswa semester 8 yang akan melaksanakan tugas akhir penelitian (skripsi) topik segiempat, pada salah satu universitas swasta di Jawa Barat. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pemecahan masalah non-rutin, observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan triangulasi data. Faktor lupa rumus dan konsep tentang topik segiempat, kesalahan algoritma dan rendahnya penalaran menjadi penyebab dalam ketidakmampuan MCGM dalam pemecahan masalah non-rutin. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah non rutin dari MCGM kurang. Berdasarkan tahapan pemecahan masalah Polya, MCGM dengan kategori nilai mata kuliah geometri tinggi kesulitan pada tahapan ke-3 (menjalankan rencana). MCGM dengan kategori nilai mata kuliah geometri sedang dan rendah  kesulitan pada tahapan ke-2 (menyusun rencana) dan ke-3 (menjalankan rencana).Non-routine problem solving is one aspect of mathematics content knowledge, and must be possessed by pre-service mathematics teachers (PSMTs). The purpose of this study was to analyze the non-routine problem-solving abilities of PSMTs on quadrilateral topic based on score of plane geometry course category .Research methods used qualitative descriptive with a case study approach conducted at 10 PSMTs who were students in the 8th semester, who would conduct research final project (thesis) on quadrilateral topics, at one of the private universities in West Java. The instruments used were non-routine problem solving tests, observation and interviews. The data analysis technique was done by data triangulation. The forgetting factor of formulas and concepts about quadrilateral topics, algorithmic errors and low reasoning are the causes of PMSTs inability to solve non-routine problems. Conclusion of this research is the non-routine problem solving ability of PMSTs was lacking. Based on the stages of mathematical problem solving Polya’s, PMSTs with high score of plane geometry course difficulties on stage 3 (carrying out the plan). PMSTs with category medium and low score of plane geometry courses have difficulty on stages 2 (devising a plan) and 3 (carrying out the plan).

Abstract

The purpose of study is to compare the increase in mathematical creative thinking ability between students who learn to get a mind mapping model based on optimizing right brain function and Problem Based Learning models. The research method used was a quasi experiment in the form of the pretest post-test two treatment design. The study population was seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Kuningan with sampling using purposive sampling technique.The research instrument used in the form of the test instrument and non-test.The results showed that: (1) there are differences in mathematical creative thinking ability among students who get mind mapping model based on optimization of right brain function and model of Problem Based Learning; (2) there is a difference of improvement of mathematical creative thinking ability between students who get mind mapping model based on optimization of right brain function and model of Problem Based Learning; (3) The average percentage of student responses shows that almost half of the students showed interest in the mind mapping model based on optimization right brain function and the Problem Based Learning model.

Abstract

Abstract This research based on the result of preliminary observation at MTs Nurul Huda Beringin. Documentation of supervision by headmaster who has been held in the school, data showed that the learning mathematics with scientific approach applied by teachers are still not optimal. Based on documenttion of learning outcome students the data that there are 40% of students not reached the minimum competence criteria. Humans have nine types of intelegence, seven of the nine types of intelegence are: verbal/linguistic intelegence, visual/spatial, logical/mathematical, musical, bodily/kinesthetic, interpersonal and intrapersonal. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative descriptive approach implemented in class VII MTs Nurul Hudda Beringin, Cirebon, on the material relations and function. Based on the analysis we concluded that the study of mathematics involving multiple intelegences with scientific approach by the steps: 1) preliminary activities; 2) the core activities consist of observasing, ask, gather information, associates and communicate; and 3) the cover. While multiple intelegences involved in learning is verbal/linguistic intelegence, visual/spatial intelegence, logical/mathematical intelegence, musical intelegence, the intelegence of the body/kinesthetic, interpersonal and intrapersonal intelegence. In the first cycle, the average result of observation activities of students and teachers was 70% and 76%  in the unfavorable and fairly category. In the second cycle, the average results of observation activities of students and teacher was 82% and 83%, both  in good categories. In the first cycle, the achievment of students VIII-A is a total of 18 students or 46% students take the final value more than 75. In the second cycle, the achievment of student VIII-A is of the total of 31 students or 80% students obtain the final score more than 75. So the achievment learning was increasing 34% from the first cycle to the second cycle.

Abstract

This type of research is a development or RD which aims to produce a product in the form of quadrilateral learning media based on Adobe Flash CS6 with a valid Contextual Teaching and Learning approach ti facilitate the mathematical connection ability. This study is the research, development model of plomp with consist of three phase is preliminary research, prototyping phase and assessment phase. The instrument used to data collection in this study were questionnaire of epert validation learning media. The device develoved was validated by three validators including two lecture and one teacher junior high school. From the resulting validation data the average score from three validator is 3,4 which means that the learning media is in the valid category with the value obtained is B which means that the learning media can be used with a little revision

Abstract

The study aims to develop learning devices through an open-ended approach in square material. The learning devices developed consist of student modules and lesson plan (RPP). This study is the research, development model of Plomp with consist of three stages: preliminary research phase, prototype phase and assessment phase. Techniques of data collection that used were pretest and posttest questions, questionnaire  of expert validation and questionnaire of student response. The device developed was validated by three validators then conducted a limited trial. From the resulting validation data the average score of student module is 4.33 (valid), the average RPP score is 4.29 (valid). The validator statement against both learning devices developed is usable with little revision and without revision and the student's response to the learning device  was positive (practical). The increase of students ' creative thinking capability of N-Gain of 0.67 with moderate upgrade category. The results of the study were obtained that the device was developed is valid, practical, and can improve creative thinking ablity.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematika siswa Indonesia dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain kurangnya pemahaman siswa akan materi yang digunakan dalam permasalahan literasi matematika dan kurangnya pengalaman siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika. Literasi matematika berbasis ICT dapat dikembangkan seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi saat ini dengan menyesuaikan kondisi sekolah atau siswa setempat. Kendala yang dialami saat ini di Indonesia adalah minimnya tenaga guru matematika yang kompenten dalam bidang ICT. Pemanfaatan ICT dalam literasi matematika sangatlah penting, sesuai tujuan literasi matematika disini supaya dapat membantu siswa dalam menganalisa, memberikan alasan, dan menyampaikan ide secara efektif, merumuskan, memecahkan, dan menginterpretasi masalah-masalah dalam kehidupan seharihari. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian melaksanakan pelatihan pemanfaatan kalkulator online untuk meningkatkan literasi matematika bagi guru-guru di Kabupaten Cirebon. Materi pengabdian meliputi Pengenal literasi matematika; Pengenalan lietrasi ICT; Pentingnya literasi matematika; Praktik memanfaatkan kalkulator online dalam literasi matematika. Pelatihan menggunakan teknik ceramah, tanya jawab, dan simulasi agar guru mendapatkan pengalaman langsung dan mendapat pengayaan dari tim pengabdian. Kegiatan pengabdian berdampak pada peningkatan motivasi dan kemampuan guru memanfaatkan kalkulator online dalam literasi matematika. Seluruh peserta pelatihan memiliki pandangan positif terhadap pelatihan pemanfaatan kalkulator online untuk meningkatkan literasi matematika dan memandang tingkat kebermanfaatan pelatihan pada tingkat bermanfaat dan sangat bermanfaat

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hambatan belajar yang dialami siswa terkait materi segiempat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (a)menganalisis desain didaktis yang telah disusun guru model pada materi segiempat dengan menggunakan model problem-based learning; (b)menganalisis dugaan hambatan belajar yang diduga muncul kembali pada desain didaktis yang disusun oleh guru model; dan (c)membuat usulan untuk desain didaktis awal yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi dugaan hambatan belajar yang muncul kembali. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru model (Kiki Okatviani) dan desain didaktis materi segiempat dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan model penelitian Didactical Design Research (DDR) yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu: (a) prospective analysis; (b)metapedadidactic analysis; dan (c)retrospective analysis. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi (wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi). Untuk teknik analisis data menggunakan gabungan dari metode kualitatif dan model DDR dimana kegiatannya adalah: (a)Prospective Analysis atau analisis data dengan melakukan wawancara kepada guru model terkait desian didaktis yang disusun pada materi segiempat; (b)Metapedadidactic Analysis kegiatan menganalisis desain didaktis, menganalisis dugaan munculnya hambatan belajar dari desain didaktis, dan pemberian usulan untuk mengatasi hambatan belajar yang muncul; dan (c)Retrospective Analysis, pada tahap ini peneliti membuat kesimpulan mengenai desain didaktis yang telah dianalisis. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa desain didaktis yang disusun oleh guru model sudah sesuai dan dapat digunakan pada kegiatan pembelajaran, adapun kesalahan yang ditemukan dalam desain didaktis yaitu didactical learning obstacle dapat diperbaiki sesuai usulan yang diberikan oleh peneliti, agar siswa tidak mengalami hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the alleged learning obstacle that appeared in the didactic design and provide a didactic design proposal to overcome the alleged learning obstacle. The type of research used is qualitative research with the Didactical Design Research (DDR) model, this research uses triangulation techniques and in the Didactical Design Research there are three stages of analysis, namely Prospective Analysis, conducting interviews with model teachers regarding didactic designs used at the time. In learning, Metapedadidactic Analysis is carried out by analyzing the didactic design that has been made by the model teacher, what learning obstacle is suspected and what causes it, Retrospective Analysis makes conclusions and didactic design proposals on the rectangular material. The subject of this research is the didactic design in the form of lesson plans and learning media that have been made by the model teacher. Based on the analysis, there is an assumption that learning obstacle appears in the didactic design, namely didactical learning obstacle and epistemological learning obstacle, resulting in a didactic design proposal to reduce learning obstacle.

Abstract

 Asesmen PISA menjadi perhatian khusus bagi siswa Indonesia. Kemampuan literasi matematis (KLM)  merupakan kemampuan yang penting dalam proses penyelesaian soal PISA. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan KLM siswa dalam mengerjakan soal PISA uncertainty and data content. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data berasal dari hasil jawaban tes KLM siswa dan wawancara. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, pemberian tes dan wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes KLM soal PISA konten uncertainty and data sebanyak 6 soal yang terdiri level 1 sampai level 6 dan lembar wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh hasil bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengerjakan soal KLM yang terdiri atas kemampuan komunikasi, representasi, matematisasi, menyusun strategi pemecahan masalah, kemampuan penalaran dan argumentasi.The PISA assessment is of particular concern to Indonesian students. Mathematical literacy ability (MLA) is an important ability in the process of solving PISA questions. This study aims to describe students' MLA in solving PISA questions with uncertainty and data content. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data were obtained from the results of the students' MLA test answers and interviews. Data collect methods used in this study are documentation, giving tests and interviews. The instrument used was the MLA test, PISA questions with uncertainty and data content, consisting of 6 questions consisting of levels 1 to level 6 and interview sheets. Based on the results of data analysis, the results obtained were that students had difficulty solving MLA questions which consisted of communication skills, representation, mathematization, developing problem solving strategies, reasoning and argumentation skills.
