Abstract

Salah satu indikator keberhasilan Sekolah Matematika belajar adalah realisasi maksimal matematika kompetensi melakukan melibatkan pemecahan masalah, penalaran, komunikasi, koneksi, representasi, dan pemahaman konseptual, diwujudkan dalam kebiasaan berpikir dan melakukan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Sekolah Matematika digest belajar untuk melakukan matematika kompetensi siswa, dan perbaikannya. Para siswa yang dipilih sebagai subjek penelitian adalah mereka yang mengambil Sekolah Matematika Digest 1 saja, di semester genap dari 2013-2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sekolah Matematika Digest 1 tentu saja memiliki pengaruh yang kuat pada peningkatan kompetensi melakukan matematika siswa, baik komponen dengan komponen dan sepenuhnya, yaitu, kompetensi penalaran, komunikasi, koneksi, representasi, pemahaman konseptual, dan membuktikan. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa 86% siswa dari matematika pemecahan masalah kompetensi yang sangat baik, sisanya 14% berada pada tingkat cukup. Sementara itu, kualitas peningkatan kompetensi melakukan matematika siswa, baik komponen dengan komponen dan sepenuhnya, jatuh ke dalam kategori yang adil.One of the indicators of the success of School Mathematics learning is the maximal realization of the doing mathematics competences involving problem solving, reasoning, communication, connection, representation, and conceptual comprehension, realized in the habits of thinking and doing. The research was a descriptive research by a survey approach intended to determine the influence of School Mathematics digest learning on students’ doing mathematics competence, and its improvement. The students selected as the subjects of research were those who took School Mathematics Digest 1 course, in the even semester of 2013-2014. The research findings showed that School Mathematics Digest 1 course has a strong influence on the improvement of the students’ doing mathematics competence, both component by component and wholly, i.e., reasoning competence, communication, connection, representation, conceptual comprehension, and proving. In addition, it was found that 86% students were of very good mathematic problem solving competence, the remaining 14% being at an insufficient level. Meanwhile, the quality of the improvement of students’ doing mathematics competence, both component by component and wholly, fell into a category of fair.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Fasilitator and Explaining (SFaE) lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Fasilitator and Explaining (SFaE), untuk mengetahui hambatan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Metode Penelitiannya adalah metode eksperimen Semu (Quasi Eksperiment), desain penelitian berbentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP kelas VIII  di Cianjur dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling (ditentukan). Adapun sampelnya yaitu kelas VIII-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII-5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrument dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari instrument tes yaitu tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan instrument non-tes yaitu angket skala sikap. Pokok bahasan yang disajikan sebagai bahan materi adalah bangun ruang sisi datar (kubus dan balok). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Fasilitator and Explaining (SFaE) lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Fasilitator and Explaining (SFaE) pada umumnya positif. Hambatan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal kemampuan komunikasi matematis yaitu siswa kesulitan dalam pengaplikasikan rumus pada saat mengerjakan soal, siswa kesulitan dalam memahami soal berbentuk cerita dan siswa kesulitan dalam membuat sketsa atau gambar. Kata Kunci: Hambatan Siswa; Komunikasi Matematis; Sikap Siswa; Student Fasilitator and Explaining (SFaE).

Abstract

ABSTRAKBeberapa latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pengajaran matematika saat ini masih menekankan pada metode ekspositori, komunikasi satu arah, dan penggunaan pendekatan kapur dan bicara. Sebagian besar kinerja siswa dalam pengajaran matematika hanya menonton guru memecahkan masalah di papan tulis . Kurang kesempatan diberikan kepada siswa untuk melakukan matematika kreatif untuk menunjukkan kegiatan mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam matematika pemodelan dan mengajar matematika menggunakan model untuk siswa sekolah menengah pertama dan atas. Bahan awal dan workshop pemodelan matematika dilakukan untuk sejumlah guru dan mahasiswa. Empat mahasiswa terlibat dalam penelitian pemodelan matematika bersama dengan tim peneliti. Dengan menggunakan model matematika memungkin bagi siswa untuk menemukan kembali konsep-konsep matematika, prosedur, atau hukum matematika yang telah ditemukan oleh matematikawan sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemodelan matematika meningkatkan komunikasi dalam matematika, kompetensi siswa dalam matematika strategis, kemampuan dalam pemecahan masalah dan penalaran adaptif siswa. Model matematika ini juga memuncul sikap positif terhadap matematika bahwa kegiatan model matematika yang menarik, membantu siswa untuk memahami konsep-konsep matematika , dan memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk mengkomunikasikan ide-ide matematika mereka. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mampu untuk mengajar matematika dengan proses pemodelan berdasarkan pendekatan realistis.ABSTRACTSome background of this research are that current mathematics teaching still emphasize on the expository method, one way communication, and chalk and talk approaches. Most of students’ performance in mathematics teaching are watching the teacher solved the problems on the chalkboard. Less opportunity is given to the students for doing mathematics creatively to show their activities. The aim of this study is to develop university students’ ability in mathematical modeling and teaching mathematics using modeling for junior as well as senior secondary students. The initial materials and the workshop on mathematical modeling were conducted for a number of teachers and university students. Four university students were involved in mathematical modeling research along with the research team. By using mathematical modeling, it is possible for students to reinvent mathematical concepts, procedures, or the law of mathematics which has been discovered by mathematicians previously. Results indicated that mathematics modeling improved students’ communication in mathematics, students’ competence in mathematical strategic, students’ ability in problem solving and students’ adaptive reasoning. This mathematical model also emerged positive attitude towards mathematics that mathematical model activities were interesting, help students to understand mathematical concepts, and to give opportunity for students to communicate their mathematical ideas. This indicates that the university students were able to teach mathematics by modeling process based on the realistic approaches.

Abstract

The need for adaptive learning strategies during limited face-to-face learning inspires this study. The research intends to analyze the responses and implementation plans of mathematics teachers in implementing blended learning hyper content with hyperlinks on linear equation system with two variables (LESTV). The data collection was done through survey involving questionnaires and interview sheets. Data were then analyzed descriptively. The participants were 38 mathematics junior high teachers in Purwakarta, Indonesia. This study shows the enthusiasm and confidence of teachers in implementing blended learning hyper content with hyperlinks, which is undoubtedly a new insight. It is deemed flexible and easy to apply and becomes an alternative during limited face-to-face learning. Mathematics teachers can plan Blended Learning Hyper content with Hyperlinks through various media and topics. Various LESTV problem-solving strategies can give student interest in studying LESTV concepts and solving problems.

Abstract

As we all know that the Covid-19 pandemic has paralyzed various aspects including education. In the field of education, learning habits are limited face-to-face and are required to apply strict health protocols. On the other hand, the ability of teachers to teach their field of study using online methods still has limitations, for example, the ability to design teaching materials and transfer learning using media is considered to be very limited. Training and improving teacher competence through blended learning and the use of hyper content with hyperlinks are seen as one of the solutions so that teachers can design teaching materials oriented to text and image processing by using QR Codes. The subject matter, whether text, images, graphics, diagrams, or models designed by the teacher, can be delivered by using hyper content and inserting links to being content on the internet such as YouTube, to enhance the knowledge supply of teachers and students. The training activities were carried out face-to-face at the New Building, UPI Campus in Purwakarta, involving 20 Junior High School Teachers and 18 Madrasah Tsanawiyah Teachers in Purwakarta Regency. The results of the activity show that the blended learning hyper content with hyperlink training can improve the ability of teachers in designing engaging, interactive digital modules or teaching materials that are rich in content that can be accessed online anytime and anywhere or printed and then scanned via QR Code when students want to access the provided learning content. Thus, blended learning hyper content with hyperlinks can be used as an effective solution in improving the ability of teachers to design teaching materials during the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of limited face-to-face learning.

Abstract

Masalah perencanaan produksi yang dialami oleh sebuah perusahaan biasanya disebabkan oleh sistem perencanaan produksi yang kurang baik. Sistem perencanaan produksi yang baik akan memberikan kepuasan terhadap perusahaan dengan target yang diinginkan dan juga dengan bahan baku yang tersedia. Pada penelitian ini, masalah perencanaan produksi akan diselesaikan dengan model fuzzy goal programming. Model  fuzzy goal programming mencari solusi optimal berdasarkan target yang diinginkan perusahaan. Hasil implementasi model fuzzy goal programming pada masalah perencanaan produksi kaos kaki di sebuah perusahaan di Kabupaten Majalengka menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model fuzzy goal programming hasil yang diperoleh lebih optimal dibandingkan dengan menggunakan model goal programming.
