Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan bantuan yang diberikan pendidik agar dapat terjadi proses pemerolehan ilmu dan pengetahuan, penguasaan kemahiran, serta pembentukan sikap dan kepercayaan pada peserta didik. Sikap peserta didik dikenal dengan kemampuan afektif. Selain sikap, kemampuan afektif berhubungan dengan minat dan nilai-nilai. Berdasarkan observasi di IKIP Budi Utomo Malang pada matakuliah Biokimia menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan afektif siswa belum diberdayakan. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan hanya menilai kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. Hasil belajar afektif peserta didik dapat diketahui dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS). Model pembelajaran SSCS dapat dilengkapi dengan media video. Tujuan penelitian adalah menjelaskan pemberdayaan hasil belajar afektif mahasiswa melalui model pembelajaran SSCS dengan media video. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan ialah eksperimen semu (quasi) dengan Pretest-Postest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Variabel bebas adalah model pembelajaran SSCS. Variabel terikat adalah hasil belajar afektif. Hasil belajar afektif diukur dengan tes dan angket yang berisi pernyataan negatif dan positif. Data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil pretest dan postest. Uji hipotesis menggunakan anakova dengan taraf signifikansi 0,5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar afektif dapat diberdayakan menggunakan model pembelajaran SSCS dengan media video. Saran berdasarkan hasil penelitian adalah model pembelajaran SSCS dengan media video sebaiknya diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran.Learning was an aid provided by educators in order to occur the acquiring knowledge and science, the mastery of skills, and the formation of students attitude and confidence. The attitude of students was known as affective ability. In addition to attitude, the affective ability was related to interests and values. Based on the observation in IKIP Budi Utomo Malang on Biochemistry material showed that students affective ability has not been empowered. The learning done only assessed students cognitive ability. Students affective learning outcome could be known by the application of Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) learning model. SSCS learning model could be equipped with video media. The purpose of this research was to explain the empowerment of students affective learning outcome through SSCS learning model with video media. The research design used was quasi experiment with Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The independent variable was SSCS learning model. The dependent variable was students affective learning outcome that measured by the affective learning outcome test and a questionnaire contained negative and positive statements. The data were obtained based on results of pretest and posttest. The hypothesis test used anakova with significance at 5%. The result showed that the affective learning outcome could be empowered using the SSCS learning model with video media. The suggestion based on research result was SSCS learning model with video media should be applied in learning.

Abstract

There were no practicum guidebook in Biochemistry hands-on activity at IKIP Budi Utomo, Malang city, East Java-Indonesia. The purposeof this study was to develop a guided inquiry-based biochemistry practicum guidebook for students of IKIP Budi Utomo. The development of guidebook followed the 4D-Thiagajaran model which has 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The types of the data in this study were qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative data was obtained from the validator suggestions. The quantitative data was obtained through validator assessment scores and legibility tests. The instruments used to collect data included validation sheets and questionnaires. The results showed that the practicum guidebook validation percentages were 93.48% (material experts), 100% (learning media expert), and 81.5% (teacher) which were categorized as very feasible. It can be concluded that the biochemistry practicum guidebook is highly suitable to be implemented.

Abstract

Based on observations in the course of learning development of teaching materials in IKIP Budi Utomo, an outline of the learning activities using a model presentation discussion.Discussions presentations that do not yet able to accommodate the activity of the students. Some students look sleepy, some even speak for themselves with their friends. So, we need the learning process interesting and fun through classroom action research (PTK) with the implementation of project-based learning. Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to describe the increase in students' learning activities in the course material development through project-based learning. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK). PTK steps include planning, implementing action, observation, and evaluation / reflection. These measures were taken in each cycle. This study uses three cycles. Data obtained in the form of learning process and field notes taken from the observation sheet as well as the group's activities in the lessons learned from the observation sheet. Overall, students' learning activities increased from the first cycle of 69.03% to 86.03% in the second cycle. Students are able to carry out all stages of the project is well on the second cycle. Products produced in accordance with the demands of the curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to produce LKS based on problem based learning coupled think pair share and can be applied in teaching and learning process, describe the implementation of learning, the level of legibility of students after using LKS based prbolem based learning combined think pair share. This research is a development research using 4-D development model that is Define (Define), Design (Design), Develop (Development), while Disseminate stage (Dissemination) is not done due to time constraint. The pilot phase was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kambera in class XI-IPA which amounted to 8 students. The results showed that in accordance with the study of LKS, the worksheet of students based on problem based learning combined think pair share process that has been developed declared eligible for trial. Implementation of learning using LKS has reached / obtained the average implementation of% The level of legality of LKS based on problem based learning combined think pair share of students obtain the overall average of 3.87% stated in the category Very Worthy, it shows that most Students argue the material and media used are easy to understand and the appearance of student worksheets (LKS) interesting.

Abstract

One effort to improve college student metacognition through the development model of learning by constructivism approach the model of learning Reciprocal Teaching Pair Share (rtPS). RtPS learning model adopted from a blend of learning model Think Pair Share and Reciprocal teaching. The parameters for success by improving metacognition. The purpose of this research is to develop a learning model rtPS to improve student metacognition in microbiology course at the Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo. The research model of development used in this research is the development model 4D of Thiagarajan (1974). The 4D model has four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Large-scale field trials using quasi-experimental. Testing the validity of data analysis techniques using Pearson correlation method according bivarian. Assessment of the effectiveness of product development conducted field trials involving three classes for large-scale testing. Testing differences in acquisition value aspects of metacognition capability in Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo Malang analyzed using General Linear Model (GLM) - Multivariate.The results showed that the development model of rtPS eligible for use in the learning activities. In large-scale trial can be concluded that the model rtPS ABILITY effect on students' metacognition. Besides the development of models rtPS effective in improving metacognitive abilities of students in the course of microbiology at the Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo Malang

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the development of the learning model Reciprocal Teaching  Pair Share (RTPS) in improving student learning outcomes microbiology and testing the effectiveness of the learning model Reciprocal Teaching Pair Share (RTPS) in improving student learning outcomes at the Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo. The model used in this research is the development model of Thiagarajan 4D (1974). The 4D model has four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Design test for individual testing and small scale trial is descriptive, whereas for largescale field trials using quasi-experimental. Data were analyzed using General Linear Model (GLM)-Multivariate SPSS 16. The results showed that the development model of reciprocal teaching decentpair share used in learning activities. The results of large-scale trial could be concluded no effect onthe learning model of cognitive learning outcomes of students. Besides the development of a model reciprocal teaching pair share effective in improving student learning outcomes microbiology Budi Utomo Malang Teachers' Training College.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi pembelajaran pada matakuliah pengembangan bahan ajar di IKIP Budi Utomo Malang Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi, secara garis besar kegiatan pembelajaran  menggunakan model diskusi presentasi. Kegiatan diskusi presentasi yang dilakukan belum mampu mengakomodasi keaktifan mahasiswa. Sehingga diperlukan proses pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan melalui penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah pengembangan bahan ajar melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Langkah PTK meliputi perencanaan, implementasi tindakan, pengamatan, dan evaluasi/Refleksi. Langkah tersebut dilakukan pada setiap siklus. Data yang didapatkan berupa data lembar observasi serta aktivitas kelompok dalam pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, aktivitas belajar mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sebesar 69,03% menjadi sebesar 86,03% pada siklus II. Mahasiswa mampu melaksanakan seluruh tahapan proyek dengan baik pada siklus II. Produk yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum.

Abstract

This study aim determined the profile analysis of module needed based on Recripocal Teaching Pair Share learning model on Protist and Fungi material. The location used retrieved data was Taman Madya Malang High School. The method used in this study was the collection of qualitative descriptive data with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire to teachers and students. The resulted showed that teachers and students agreed with the development of Recripocal Teaching Pair Share (RTPS) based modules.
