Abstract

The main challenge for the development of unmanned aircraft today is the cruising range of unmanned aircraft. One of the causes of limited cruising range is the weakness of the communication system between aircraft and ground station. In this study designed a system of data downlink integrated with adaptive control so that it can increase cruising range from unmanned aircraft. The method used in this research is the experimental method to get the design and pilot plan downlink data system combined with adaptive control to create intelligent data downlink device that can increase cruising range unmanned aircraft. From this research found that Kalman Filter is the best algorithm used in designing an adaptive downlink system.

Abstract

GPS (Global Positioning System) is the popular system for navigation which assistance 32 satellites orbiting the earth. Currently, tracking positions using the Global Positioning System (GPS) is one of the best positioning tracking methods. However, GPS has a lot o f noise, so filters are needed to handle with noise on GPS. In this research, the simulation is done to extract data from GPS sensors using RLS algorithm. From the results o f identification and simulation, it can be concluded that the algorithm works well and need to analyze the advantages and disadvantages to be implemented on the downlink system designed. From the simulation results obtained that error estimation is convergent that is the longer the smaller.

Abstract

GPS (Global Positioning System) is a system used for navigation and positioning with the help of 32 satellites that orbit the earth. GPS satellites emit radio waves to activate the GPS receiver on the Earth to determine the exact location, speed and time for all weather conditions. Currently, GPS has a vital role in navigation drone. However GPS have a lot of noise, it is necessary to overcome the noise filter on the GPS. In this research conducted a simulation of adaptive algorithm in extracting data from the GPS sensor. The method in this research is the Kalman Filter. From the identification and simulation can be concluded that the adaptive algorithm is designed to work well and need to be implemented on the downlink system. The simulation results showed that the error of algorithm has convergent properties are increasingly shrinking.

Abstract

Flight simulation games are generally played on a smartphone or desktop computer. But still there is rarely flight simulation game that combines these two devices simultaneously with each other in a game. Software on a desktop computer that was developed in this research is to fly a plane from take off to landing at controlled by android smartphones using the accelerometer and touch sensors. The aircraft used for flight simulation games are made by PT. Digantara Indonesia, N219. The result of this design is only intended as a study course.

Abstract

The simulator is a form of imitation of conditions describing a behavior in conformity with the reality in which there is an interaction between the user and the simulation. Simulators are very useful for simulating events that can help the teaching and learning system. The result of this final project is a 3D take off simulator on a desktop-based Boeing 737-300 that serves as a training aid and contains an explanation of Boeing 737-300 take off information. This simulator provides ideal data in the form of weight, take off speed, flap settings and distance data to understand the aircraft performing the V1, VR and V2 processes. The research methods carried out include modeling a Boeing 737-300 aircraft using blueprint, asset modeling, and texturing using Blender 3D software then proceed with the design of simulations using Unity software. Simulation tests include black box testing. The results of the black box testing indicate that all functions of the simulator run according to the Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating system with a 64-bit system. Flight simulator is functioning properly and can show information on the movements and conditions od the aircraft in taking flight in the takeoff phase with weight conditions, the speed at which the aircraft drove on the runway, wind pressure conditions on the runway and flaps that will be arranged in this flight simulator.

Abstract

In designing the STTA-12MXA aircraft, analysis of the ability of the glide is one of the important aspects. The analysis was carried out using a numerical approach. There are 2 scenarios used to see the ability of the glide, namely the maximum distance and maximum flight time. The results showed that the maximum distance that the STTA-12MXA aircraft could reach when glide from 13500 ft is 64 km and for the maximum flight time is 23 minutes.

Abstract

Reliability is used to estimate the conditions of systems or components in the future based on previous conditions. The objects of this research are EC 155B1 aircrafts owned by Indonesia Air Transport & Infrastrucure (IAT), and the method used for analysis is markov analysis. Markov analysis is widely used as an analyzing technique the states of the system that has limited information (memoryless). From this research, ATA chapter 62 Main Rotor that meets the requirements of reliability analysis. The constituent components of main rotor states are Pin Blade, Lower Attach Beam, and Upper Attach Beam. The results of the markov analysis of main rotor system, the states that worked properly are state 1, state 3, and state 4. The probability of the state 1 showed that state has decreased from initial condition, while the state 3 and state 4 have increased from initial condition and subsequently have decreased. The reliability of main rotor system has decreased along with increasing of flight hours with the Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) is 2340.22 flight hours.
