Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta menerapkan metode drill dalam proses pembelajaran yang efektif. Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber seperti buku dan artikel ilmiah mengenai pembahasan terkait. Kemudian melakukan analisis deskriptif data yang dipaparkan secara rinci. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berpikir kreatif sebagai proses konstruksi ide yang menekankan pada aspek kelancaran, keluwesan, kebaruan dan keterincian. Dengan adanya aspek tersebut, peserta didik diharapkan mampu bersikap aktif dalam sistem belajar dan pembelajaran. Dalam berpikir kreatif, matematika peserta didik dituntut untuk bersifat fleksibilitas, merujuk pada kemauan untuk memodifikasi keyakinan berdasarkan informasi baru. Seseorang yang tidak berpikir fleksibel tidak mudah mengubah ide atau pandangan mereka meskipun ia mengetahui terdapat kontradiksi antara ide yang dimiliki dengan ide baru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman cara berfikir siswa dan hasil belajar pada proses pembelajaran matematika dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan subjek yang diambil siswa kelas 3,4,5 dan 6 SDN 34 Batang Nadenggan. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa hasil proses wawancara pada tingkat kelas rendah dan kelas tinggi masih banyak di antara mereka yang kurang memahami dan kurangnya minat terhadap pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Adapun faktor yang menghambat proses pembelajaran matematika, di antaranya adalah kurangnya minat dan motivasi siswa terhadap pembelajaran serta metode yang digunakan guru terlalu monoton sehingga membuat siswa kurang berminat dan bersemangat untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya meningkatkan berpikir kritis dan mengefektifkan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran matematika. Adapun jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research). Data yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber referensi ilmiah, dianalisis dan dideskripsikan secara detil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual memprioritaskan pada perilaku belajar yang nyata dan konkrit, hal ini didasarkan pada fase perkembangan anak dan kesehariannya bersama lingkungan alam sekitar. Implementasi pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran matematika dipandang strategis bagi peningkatan kualitas profesional guru dalam meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa melalui pengetahuan dasar yang kontekstual dimiliki siswa dari kehidupan sehari-hari bersama alam sekitar.

Abstract

Several problems of speaking in SMAN 6 Medan attracted researchers to conduct the research as an effort to help the students in language learning. Researchers attempted to see the effectiveness of Pictionary game toward English speaking skill. This Pictionary game is a simple game and applicable for all levels of students. The main function of this game is building of creative thinking, increasing of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, developing student’s bravery in expression of the ideas and creating of responsibility and cooperative towards the students. Because of this advantage, many researchers conducted this game on language learning such as the effect of Pictionary game on vocabulary mastery and researchers decided to see whether Pictionary game is effective for student speaking skill. This study is conducted by using an experimental design. In collecting of the data, researcher took pre-test and post-test from experimental and control class and examined them to see whether Pictionary game is effective or not. After analyzing of the data using of three tests, researchers found that the students’ score in experimental group was higher than control group in post-test. The calculation showed tobserved was 2.07. The degree of the freedom was 70 (df= n1 + n2 – 2) that means (df= 36 + 36 – 2) at the significance level 0.05, thus the critical score was 1.97. It can be concluded ttable was 1.97. then, the calculation of students’ scores shown that tobserved > ttable that means (Ha) was accepted, and (H0) was rejected. It means there is significance effect of the students’ speaking skill after treated by Pictionary game.

Abstract

The main focus of this research is the level of students' creative mathematical thinking abilities. This concern arises from students' struggles to master each indicator of creative thinking abilities. The study aims to assess the level of students' creative thinking abilities for each indicator within their creative mathematical thinking using the open-ended iPMRI approach, specifically targeting fifth-grade elementary students. This quantitative study employs a quasi-experimental design. The research population consists of 44 fifth-grade students from SD Negeri 105346 Aras Kabu. The sample was selected through random sampling to identify both the experimental and control groups. Data collection methods included questionnaires, tests administered to each student, and accompanying documentation. The research findings, based on the results of the sig value. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-count of 12.493 compared to the t-table value of 1.68595 at df 38, indicate that the t-count is significantly greater than the t-table value (t-count > t-table). This result leads to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of an open-ended based realistic mathematics learning approach significantly influences the creative mathematical thinking abilities of fifth-grade students at SD 105346 Aras Kabu, Beringin District, during the 2023/2024 academic year
