Abstract

The purpose of this research was to produce a student activity sheet based guided discovery me-thod to improve understanding of the mathematical concept of junior high school students, determine the effectiveness and increase the ability of understanding mathematical concepts that students use the worksheet-based method of guided discovery. The method used was the development of research de-velopment model 4-D, that was define, design, develop and disseminate. The research was conducted in SMP Islam Kepenuhan of Rokan Hulu Riau with research subjects grade VIIIA. Student activity sheet and research instruments validated to the experts, then conducted limited field trial, resulting in the final and disseminate is the use of student activity sheet that has been developed on a broader scale, to subject teachers school math test field try to use this device. The results of the implementation of the trials showed Student Activity Sheet effective to use, as shown by an increase in the ability of students understanding of the concept, where students in classical completeness there are 30 students who reached the KKM ≥ 70 ie 83.33% of the proceeds from the pretest posttest whereas only 23 those students who completed ie 63.88%, further capabilities increase student understanding of the concept of before and after learning that the average pretest results and the ability of understanding the con-cept 69.84 average yield of 81.35 posttest understanding of the concept. Based on the analysis of data, it is advisable to use a math teacher to student activity sheet based methods guided discovery learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran flipped classroom terhadap hasil belajar materi kalkulus integral mahasiswa pendidikan matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi exsperiment dengan desain penelitian randomized control group posttest only design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah kalkulus integral sebanyak 27 orang yang terbagi dalam dua kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Mahasiswa di kelas eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran flipped classroom, sedangkan mahasiswa di kelas kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran langsung. Data penelitian berupa hasil belajar kalkulus integral mahasiswa diperoleh melalui teknik tes dengan soal berbentuk uraian. Hasil tes menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa di kelas eksperimen adalah 74,57 dan di kelas kontrol adalah 55,83. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran flipped classroom terhadap hasil belajar materi kalkulus integral mahasiswa pendidikan matematika

Abstract

Pendidikan Biologi mempelajari Fisika dasar untuk mempermudah dalam mempelajari dasar-dasar bidang ilmu Biologi yang berkaitan erat dengan Fisika. Learning outcomes yang diharapkan dari Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) untuk perkuliahan Fisika dasar yaitu mahasiswa mampu memahami dan menerapkannya dalam mempelajari bidang keilmuannya yaitu Biologi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tahapan pengembangan buku ajar Fisika dasar berbasis pictorial riddle, validitas dan kepraktisan buku ajar. Penelitian menggunakan Model Plomp dengan tiga tahap: Preliminary research, prototyping or development, dan assessment. Populasi penelitian mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Pasir Pengaraian. Data penelitian berupa kuesioner, angket validasi, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Informasi yang diperoleh pada tahap preliminary research dalam pengembangan buku ajar Fisika dasar berbasis pictorial riddle untuk mahasiswa pendidikan Biologi. Validasi buku ajar dilakukan oleh evaluasi diri dan validasi ahli dengan empat validator dengan nilai 0,92 dikategorikan valid. Kepraktisan pada buku ajar melalui tahap one-to-one, kelompok kecil, dan kelompok besar dengan rata-rata nilai 87,1% untuk respon mahasiswa dan 88,5% untuk respon dosen. Hasil analisis field test pada tahap assessment dikategorikan sangat praktis dengan nilai 92,3%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan buku ajar Fisika Dasar berbasis pictorial riddle untuk mahasiswa pendidikan Biologi dikategorikan valid dengan nilai 0,92 dan praktis digunakan oleh mahasiswa dan dosen dengan nilai 87,1% dan 88,5% serta hasil field test dengan nilai 92,3%.

Abstract

Through the study replica regulatory process glucose and insulin concentrations in the body, it has studied the influence of parameter mechanisms of pancreatic organ transport rate constant (K) on achieving normal levels of glucose concentration. In this study has been carried out curve fitting method between clinical data and model equations glucose and insulin concentrations for the three conditions of the patient, namely: glucose low, normal and high of six patients.

Abstract

Classroom situations that are less motivated, there is no teaching materials that can guide students' self-learning and learning-centered to lecturers resulted in students having difficulty in understanding the matter and solve the problems. This situation would require settlement solutions, including need to develop learning material that can help improve learning outcomes and student motivation and stimulate students to be more active. Among them learning material in the form of modules and learning model that can involve the activity of students, learning independently and carry out a project and collaborate to improve learning outcomes and produce a product that can be communicated to others. This type of research was research and development. The development model used is the 4-D comprising the steps of defining, design, development and disseminates. Subjects were students of class I A and B Physics Education Major Faculty of Education and Teacher Training Pasir Pengaraian University. Data were collected using the data collection instruments. Based on development and dissemination test, it has been found that the learning material in Basic Physics I using a project-based learning model could address the needs of students in the Physical Education in learning activities.
