Abstract

Abstract: Lack of practical activities in schools can result in a decrease in the creativity of students. worksheets based on the discovery learning model in them trigger students to think creatively and critically. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The purpose of this study is to look at the improvement of skills competencies which are assisted by student worksheets based on the discovery learning model. The data analysis technique is testing hypotheses where there is a difference which means the use of this student worksheet. Hypothesis testing conditions are to carry out normality tests for skill scores from both sample classes and homogeneity tests to see the distribution of values from two sample classes that have homogeneous data. after treatment is obtained, the average value of the skills of the experimental class is 78.62 and for the control class is 70.10.Abstrak: Kurangnya kegiatan praktikum di sekolah dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kreativitas siswa. lembar kerja berbasis model discovery learning di dalamnya memicu siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan kritis. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan kompetensi keterampilan yang dibantu oleh lembar kerja siswa berdasarkan pada model pembelajaran penemuan. Teknik analisis data menguji hipotesis di mana ada perbedaan yang berarti penggunaan lembar kerja siswa ini. syarat pengujian hipotesis adalah untuk melakukan tes normalitas untuk skor keterampilan dari kedua kelas sampel dan tes homogenitas untuk melihat distribusi nilai dari dua kelas sampel yang memiliki data homogen. setelah perawatan diperoleh, nilai rata-rata keterampilan dari kelas eksperimen adalah 78,62 dan untuk kelas kontrol adalah 70,10.

Abstract

Its is hard adjusted learning execution time with practicums performing, making difficult experiment is done at school. experiment also havent made active student, so required by experiment’s module gets PAIKEMS basis in lead experiment’s performing. The purpose of this Research is result practicum module that valid and practical. Observational method is 4D. Observational step that is done is problem Identification, information gathering, product design, validate design, fixed up design and product test-driving. Abstract

Media development simulation is one of the alternatives to address the problem of learning physics that seem abstract and difficult, and can overcome the limitations of the tools in the school laboratory. This research is a development that consists of 3 phases: phase define (definition), design (design), and develop (development). The development of research instruments using validation sheet, observation sheets, and student questionnaire responses. Prototype 2 is validated by experts from STAIN Batusanggkar Physical Education and 1 teacher MTs N 1 Lawang Mandahiling. At this stage of the practicalities, Media piloted simulations in MTs N 1 Mandahiling Lawang to see the practicality of media simulation has been designed. Media as valid and practical to meet the criteria for the level of validity and practicality. Results showed that media simulation on the solar system material is very practical and very valid (validity include content, presentation, language and readability) from the point of view of experts Physical Education and one junior high school teacher.Key words : development, media simulation, macromedia flash, solar system

Abstract

he purpose of this research is to determine the performance specifications and design specifications of viscometer. Kind of this research is laboratory experiment. The result is the design of the measurement system consists of an UGN3503 sensor as the sensing iron ball and an electronic box, the system have the average relative accuracy is 96% with an average of 0.9706. The viscosity values for oil is 10,237 Pa s  and cooking oil of 2,286 Pa s.Key words : viscocity, arduino uno328, hall effect UGN3503

Abstract

This research has successfully designed an instrument to measure air pressure, namely, DT-Sense Barometric Pressure and Temperature (DT-SBPT). DT-SBPT is a smart sensor module on the basis of HP03 sensor. Data were collected using direct and indirect measurement. Direct measurement was done toward air pressure. Indirect measurement, however, was applied to determine the exact and accuracy of the measurement of air pressure. Data were analyzed by using two ways, namely statistic and graphic ways. The result of the research shows that DT-SBPT has high appropriateness and accuracy, which is 0.99. The air pressure around earth surface decrease linearly when the height increase.Keywords: air pressure, smart sensor module

Abstract

The wind is one of the important parameters in meteorology to determine weather and climate. It can be determined by using two quantity measured, such us speed and direction of wind. Based on the result of measuring will obtain important information that can be used for disaster prevention. For measuring of wind speed, this reserch design a measurement using optocoupler sensor to determine wind speed with change of sensor resistance. The sensor is conected to an electronic circuit and a microcontroller Arduino Uno Rev3 and it is programmed to get the desired results. Based on data analysis, there are two result of research namely performance and design specifications. The instrument consists of two parts; the electronic circuits and mechanical parts making up the system of measuring instruments of wind speed. Based on the results conducted, the accuracy of this measuring instrument is 91.39% with 3.22% error percentage and the accuracy of the instrument was 98.9% with 1:11% relative error percentage.Key words: sensor optocoupler, microcontroler arduino

Abstract

Students’ worksheet is one of learning media to help students in studying mathematics. The worksheet is based on guided discovery learning. It is aimed to get the students accostumed in inventing mathematics concept, therefore the worksheet can make it easier for the students to understand sequences and series material. Sequences and series is one of the essential materials tought in vocational school since it is often correlated to problem solving. In general, the students in vocational school lack of ability to do problem solving. This research used Plomp educational design research that consist of initial preliminary research, development or prototyping stage and assesment phase. The instrument used in this research was validation sheet of students’ worksheet. The aim of this research was to produce valid, practice and effective worksheet. The result of this research showed that the Guided Discovery Model worksheet on Sequences and Series was valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Pemantauan dan pengiriman data getaran dalam getaran mesin atau bangunan menggunakan sistem telemetri sangat dibutuhkan. Kerusakan sebuah mesin yang sedang beroperasi dapat diketahui dengan melihat pola getaran yang dihasilkan. Untuk mengurangi resiko kerusakan mesin diperlukan sistem deteksi getaran mesin dan proses pengiriman data  yang dapat memberikan informasi secepat mungkin ke oprator. Pembuatan sistem terdiri dari perangkat keras, telemetri wireless, dan perangkat lunak. Perangkat keras merupakan perangkat mekanik untuk mendeteksi getaran. Telemetri wireless digunakan sebagai media transmisi data untuk mengirim data sensor ke mikrokontroler secara wireless. Perangkat lunak merupakan software yang digunakan untuk memproses data getaran menggunakan Megunolink. Hasil pengolahan data  ditampilkan di layar monitor personal komputer dalam bentuk grafik sebagai fungsi waktu.

Abstract

Temperature and humidity are important weather parameters for large purposes, such as agriculture, aviation, tourism, etc. The Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency is converting from conventional measuring instruments into digital systems. This research aims to determine the performance and design specifications of the internet of things for measuring the air temperature and humidity using the SHT75 sensor with a smartphone display. The system was built from SHT75 module sensor as temperature and humidity sensors with NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontrollers that can access the internet network so that data can be sent to the ThingSpeak. Data server from ThingSpeak appeared on smartphones using AppInventor. The instrument builder circuit was in a 5x5x10 cm3 box containing the SHT75 sensor,the NodeMCU ESP8266, the ON/OFF switch, the RESET button, and the adapter to connect to the source. It was found that results of the design specifications of the measuring instrument has a high accuracy and precision. The accuracy of measuring instruments for air temperature is 98.89% and for air humidity is 99.41%. The precision of measuring instruments for airtemperature and humidity are 99.73% and 99.08%, respectively.Keyword : SHT75, NodeMCU ESP8266, Internet of Things, ThingSpeak, App Inventor

Abstract

One effort that can be done by teachers to improve the competence of students was  to develop of Student Worksheet (LKPD). LKPD was said to be qualified if it has valid criteria. Valid means the developed product can be used to measure what should be measured. Validity of LKPD was assessed by experts in the field. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of LKPD experimentphysics oriented by problem based learning models be used tools practicum based on digital technology. The methode of this study was descrptive methode. The research instrument used was validation sheet in the form of assessment questionnaire. Analysis of data used descriptive analysis. The validation result was obtained LKPD physics experiment oriented Problem Based Learning model with tools of practicum based on digital technology was valid criteria.
