Abstract

Tasawuf or also called by Sufism is an integral part of Islamic religious knowledge which is particularly served in traditional even in modern conditions nowadays. A case study was done in this research in order to capture all of natural phenomenon happened in six different Islamic boarding schools in East Kalimantan particularly in Sabilarrasyad, Darul Ihsan, and An-Nur Islamic boarding schools in Samarinda, Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari Islamic boarding school in Balikpapan, and Darul Quran wa Tarbiyah and Al Hidayah Islamic boarding schools in Kutai Kartanegara. Specifically, direct observation, semi-structured interview, as well as document study were applied in this research in order to figure out the implementation of teaching and learning of Tasawuf particularly in terms of curriculum applied, materials and media used, methods and evaluation utilized at above Islamic boarding schools. As the result, the essentials of teaching and learning of Tasawuf is directed through hidden curriculum particularly inserted in Akhlak materials taught by the teachers or what so called by Asatidz and Asatidzah at all Islamic boarding schools investigated in this research. Additionally, traditional patterns of Islamic teaching and learning of Akhlak materials are applied i.e. Bandungan, Sorogan, and Wetonan as well as conventional learning steps including Tarjamah, Pendhabitan Harakat, Imlak, Mutholaah, and Memorizing methods. Small difference in terms of media used among those Islamic boarding schools does not lead to significant highlighted aspect since all of the Kitab used is contained about Akhlak or particularly regarding with how to build positive characters, behavior, and attitude of the students. Finally, future implication is also served and discussed in this research.

Abstract

Process of Islamization in Indonesia that has characteristic, namely; runs in peace, follows customary, soaks into clefts of facets of Indonesian nation life in each facet of life through the planting path of religion values on the customary local culture. The process of Islamization in Indonesia was lasting in such a long periods to hundreds of years. According to the history, East Kalimantan was being Islam firstly by Datuk Ri Bandang and Tunggang Parangan. Process of Islamization in Kutai and the surrounding area was predicted to happen about 1575. The Islamization process of Banjarnesesociety spreads peacefully, seeps into the clefts of life in every aspect, adapts itself in the local culture. It unites and integrates the Islamic values into the culture system. Thus the local culture that used to be animism primitive is changed to be a new culture, which is Islamic culture. Islamic culture in Banjarnese customary reflected as the marriage ceremony in the form of symbol, the society behavior and also the tool used, although the Islamic reflection is rudimentary but as other cultures that characterized selective dynamic then in fact, the customary of Banjarnese culture is growing into a form of value improvement that is more Islamic.

Abstract

The epistemology paradigm of Islamic thoughts is developed from one era to another. This paper tries to reveal the modern Islamic thoughts proposed by Jamaluddin Al-Afghani in reconstructing the understanding of qadha and qadar (takdir) from fatalistic and statis thoughts into dynamic thoughts. The meaning of fana and baqa in sufism, according to Al-Afghani’s thought, is real. The faith does not mean avoiding the needs of real life, but it should empower the social welfare and improve the social life. Al-Afghani states that the confession of the faith (qadha and qadar) is one of the basic elements in theology which cannot be avoided, yet it should be understood correctly and positively to reach the happiness in this world and the life after death.

Abstract

Children's affective ability to cooperate with others is still lacking, this is due to a lack of habituation or learning strategies aimed at developing these values. In addition to the lack of ability to work together in terms of managing emotions, it is also lacking, where children still express anger by hitting friends or screaming and crying. This happens because in learning activities more emphasis on cognitive aspects of learning. This study aims to describe the traditional game of hadang in order to develop the affective abilities of early childhood. The results of the study stated that traditional games as developed in Nur Amalia Penajam Islamic Kindergarten are an effective learning strategy for teaching children so that children are able to develop their affective aspects. Affective aspects developed include: cooperative attitude, sportsmanship, responsibility, and friendship. In the context of cultivating a successful affective aspect, the exemplary aspect of educators cannot be abandoned, because children will always imitate their educators in acting every time.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relevance of educators in the perspective of Imam al Ghazali in the era of society 5.0. Types of research in general, this study uses a library research model, derived from literary sources, whether in the form of books, manuscripts, journals. The Book of Ihya Ulumuddin. With a research focus on examining the Educator's Concept according to Imam al-Ghazali and its Relevance in the Era of Society 5.0. Primary data is the source of the material or documents presented. The primary data in this study is Ihya' Ulumuddin by Imam al-Ghazali. The results of research in the era of society 5.0 educators are very relevant to using complete and sophisticated and modern media such as computers, laptops equipped with educational media devices in the era of society are also equipped with very complete attributes and media that can help and guarantee the quality of educators as an educator in the era of society 5.0 which is actually also inseparable from technological developments. The role of educators in the era of society 5.0 as educators in the era of society 5.0. Abstrak Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis relevansi pendidik dalam perspektif Imam al Ghazali di era society 5.0. Jenis Penelitian secara umum, penelitian ini menggunakan model kepustakaan (library research), berasal dari sumber-sumber kepustakaan, baik berupa buku-buku, naskah, jurnal. Kitab Ihya ulumuddin. Dengan fokus penelitian untuk meneliti tentang Konsep Pendidik menurut Imam al- Ghazali dan Relevansinya di Era Society 5.0. Data primer adalah sumber bahan atau dokumen yang dikemukakan. Data primer pada kajian ini adalah Ihya’ Ulumuddin karya Imam al- Ghazali. Hasil penelitian di era society 5.0 pendidik sangat relevan dengan menggunakan media yang lengkap dan serba canggih dan modern seperti computer, laptop yang dilengkapi dengan perangkat media pendidik di era society juga dilengkapi oleh atribut dan media-media yang sangat lengkap yang bisa membantu dan menjamin kualitas pendidik tersebut sebagai seorang pendidik di era society 5.0 yang sebenarnya juga tidak lepas dari perkembangan teknologi Peran pendidik era society 5.0 sebagai pendidik di era society 5.0.

Abstract

Artikel ini dilatabelakangi dari penguatan moderasi beragama. Penguatan moderasi beragama pendidikan tinggi menjadi tuntutan dunia global, Pendidikan tinggi harus memiliki konsep dan aksi terkait moderasi beragama. Di perguruan tinggi umum, persoalan moderasi beragama lebih harus diperhatikan karena faktor terbatasnya mahasiswa dalam memperoleh materi pendidikan agama Islam. Mahasiswa hanya bersentuhan dengan para dosen pendidikan agama Islam dalam waktu yang terbatas. Pada saat bersamaan mahasiswa juga bersentuhan dengan pihak luar yang konsen dalam gerakan di bidang dakwah Islam. Hal ini menyebabkan tantangan implementasi moderasi beragama di kampus umum atau perguruan tinggi umum lebih komplek, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi perguruan tinggi dalam implementasi moderasi beragama bagi mahasiswa di Universitas Nahdhatul Ulama Kalimantan Selatan (UNUKASE) dan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin (UMB). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoreh dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara kepada rektor dan wakil rektor, wakil dekan, dosen serta mahasiswa. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif model Miles, Huberman dan Sadana yang terdiri dari kondensasi data penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini strategi implementasi moderasi beragama bagi Mahasiswa di Universutas Nahdhatul Ulama Kalimantan Selatan (UNUKASE) dilakukan dengan cara kebijakan kurikulum, mengarahkan para dosen mengangkat tema moderasi beragama baik itu di lingkungan kampus maupun di masyarakat, hanya menerima dosen yang lulus MKNU, pada saat masa oreintasi mahasiswa baru kampus memberikan materi keaswajaan yang didalamnya berisi materi dan nilai moderasi beragama, menfasiltasi mahasiswa dengan kajian-kajian akademik serta melakukan kerjasama dengan lembaga terkait, di Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin ditemukan hal yang sama yaitu adanya kebijakan kurikulum dengan cara mewajibkan seluruh mahasiswa mengikuti mata kuliah Al Islam Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) 8-10 sks, selektif dalam menerima tenaga pengajar, menyediakan lembaga kajian keislaman dan keindonesian (darul Arkam).

Abstract

Ilmu pengetahuan dengan agama mempunyai nilai nilai relevansi sehingga tidak ada dikotomi antara keduanya. Banyak tokoh yang mempunyai gagasan terkait relevansi salah satunya adalah BJ. Habibie. BJ. Habibie merupakan tokoh pemimpin dan Ilmuan teknologi yang mempunyai gagasan terkait Integrasi IPTEK dan IMTAQ. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan terkait Relevansi Ilmu pengetahuan dengan agama melalui perpektif BJ.Habibie. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskrpftif dan historis biografik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data mengggunakan analisis isi, deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini berdasarkan pemikiran BJ. Habibie terkait relevansi Ilmu pengetahuan dengan Agama ialah BJ. Abstract

Tawassul adalah salah satu metode berdoa untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Allah dengan perantara sesuatu serta sebagai media untuk mencapai suatu tujuan. Sementara tabarruk adalah kegiatan mencari berkah melalui sesuatu yang diistimewakan oleh Allah dengan limpahan keberkahan sehingga memiliki pengaruh untuk mendatangkan keberkahan kepada orang lain atas pertolongan Allah. Beberapa ulama cenderung salah dalam memahami hakikat sebenarnya dari tawassul dan tabarruk. Mereka beranggapan bahwa umat Islam yang mempraktekkan tawassul dan tabarruk sama dengan orang kafir yang menyembah berhala. Namun, bagi mayoritas umat Islam tawassul dan tabarruk masih terus dijalankan dan dipertahankan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kepustakaan (library research). Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kontekstual dengan sumber data yang meliputi; sumber primer (kitab tafsir al-Futu>h{a>t al-Ila>hiyyah) dan sumber sekunder (karya-karya yang memiliki relevansi dengan tawassul dan tabarruk). Dalam mencari dan mengolah data, metode kepustakaan selanjutnya akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analisis.

Abstract

Dawah plays a vital role in developing and disseminating Islam as it opens opportunities for Islamic teachings to be accepted and adapted in new environments with people from different cultures. In this context, Sufi preaching is one of the successful manifestations in the propagation of Islam due to its flexible nature, which is its characteristic feature. Therefore, this research aims to examine and identify the role of preaching in developing Sufism in East Kalimantan, particularly in the current era of globalization. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research approach, with research locations spread across several areas in East Kalimantan, including Samarinda, Kutai Kartanegara, Balikpapan, Kutai Timur, Bontang, and Paser. The research results indicate that the current societal conditions closely related to technological advancements and information necessitate the presence of more relevant forms of preaching. In this context, da'is are obliged to use digital media to convey Sufi teachings. They are expected to be proficient in utilizing technology to continue delivering their preaching in line with the progress of the times.
