Abstract

The problem in this study is the low loyalty and performance of sales marketing staff at 3-star to 5-star hotels in North Sumatra. The phenomenon that occurs that low hotel sales marketing loyalty is caused by compensation, education and training, and low self-efficacy. This study examines the effect of balance, education and training, and self-efficacy as independent variables and constructive retention as an intervening variable on the sales marketing performance of 3-star to 5-star hotels in North Sumatra. The research findings show a positive and significant effect of compensation, education and training, and self-efficacy on sales marketing performance and constructive retention as intervening variables. The results of this study can be used as a reference for hotel management on how to build the performance of sales marketing employees with constructive retention. Based on hypothesis testing, all hypotheses constructed in this study proved to have a positive and significant effect. The empirical findings also uncovered that the respondents' qualitative answers to the indicators were good, meaning that the indicators used in this study were feasible.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of applying a teacher's code of ethics on discipline in teaching at SMK Parulian 1 Medan. The sample in this study were 30 students at SMK Parulian 1 Medan with a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the one-sample t-test. The results showed that the application of the teacher's code of ethics at Parullian 1 Medan Vocational High School was good in terms of the average sample measurement score showing no change, teaching discipline in Parullian 1 Medan Vocational School was good in terms of the average sample measurement score showing no change.

Abstract

Bank Syariah Indonesia carries out the bank's function as a place to store and channel funds from the public to assist development in Indonesia. The existence of a bank is also very dependent on public trust. The higher the public trust, the higher the public awareness to save their money in the bank and use other services from the bank. Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) are one of the main driving forces in the development of the manufacturing industry. The movement of the UMKM sector is very important to create economic growth and employment. This study aims to determine the role of Islamic banking in UMKM during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method and the data used is primary data. The instrument used in primary data is interviews. From this research it can be seen that People's Business Credit (KUR) encouraged UMKM players during the Covid-19 pandemic, by helping customers who had received disbursement of financing before the pandemic by providing relaxation or relief in paying installments.

Abstract

This article aims to identify and analyze the role of banks in financing small and medium enterprises in Indonesia North Sumatra Province (SUMUT). The analytical tool used is a quantitative approach. The results of this study are that the role of banking in the development of small and medium enterprises in the province of North Sumatra is very important. This is because the role of non-bank credit and financial institutions in financing small and medium enterprises is still relatively low. The contribution of banking, especially in financial support, is when small and medium enterprises enter business development. When getting a bank loan, small and medium enterprises that are categorized as potential, feasible and bankable generally do not experience difficulties.

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui fungsi dan tujuan pengambilan keputusan serta merumuskan formulasi strategi kompetitif pada usaha sate Madura. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif,dimana dalam penelitian ini tidak menggunakan populasi dan sampel namun hanya menggunakan narasumber untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how the existence of cooperative legal entities as a means of advancing MSMEs in Indonesia and to see how MSME regulations in Indonesia are according to existing legal rules. The research method used in this research is descriptive in nature. Where this research utilizes literature studies. This activity is carried out by collecting information related to the subject or problem under study through books, journals, the internet and other sources of information. The results of the study show that merging MSMEs is seen as being able to better support the national economy because it is a family-based business in addition to carrying out the tasks and functions that have been set in the cooperative.

Abstract

The research entitled Legal Protection for Consumers at the Medan Oil Palm Research Center (PPKS) Company, aims to find out how the legal protection given to consumers of Oil Palm Sprouts at the Medan Oil Palm Research Center is in accordance with applicable laws. This research was conducted in Medan and the target respondents were people who had purchased sprout products at the Medan Oil Palm Research Center (PPKS). The type of research used in this study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this study was to use questionnaires and literature studies. The data analysis technique used to find information and answers in research is to sort out important data and then describe it in the form of an explanation accompanied by documentary evidence and by distributing questionnaires to be filled out by research respondents.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of export and investment on GRDP in North Sumatra from 2001 to 2020. Data in the research is obtained from BPS, which is secondary data with the method of data collection, documentation and study books, data analysis technique performed with linear regression analysis and testing. hypothesis partial then simultan serta melihat nilai coefficient determinasi. Hasil peresikaan sampaan sakada sluhan ekpor dan investasa secraa siginifan tapatan utwats GRDP. Although export can produce a large income for the country, it depends on the condition of the global market and the availability of resources in the country. Dampak ekspor dan investasa tepadan GRDP juga dapat oleh oleh factor lain, seperti fiscal policy dan monetare, level inflation, dan stability politik.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the analysis of the effect of inflation, the BI rate, the exchange rate on the profitability of the National Bank in Indonesia in 2017 – 2021. This study took a sample using a purposive sampling method. The data collection technique used in this study was literature study by obtaining data from BPD. Data analysis was performed with multiple linear regression. The analysis shows that inflation has a negative impact on bank profitability. The higher the inflation, the lower the bank's profitability. In addition, the BI rate has a positive impact on bank profitability. The higher the interest rate, the higher the bank's profitability. Finally, the exchange rate does not have a significant impact on bank profitability. While changes in currency exchange rates can affect a bank's performance in the short term, other long-term political factors such as economic growth and stability have a greater impact big on bank profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ethics on the performance of employees in the Kampung Lalang Village Office. In this study, the samples were employees who worked at the Kampung Lalang Village Office. The data in this study were obtained by filling out a questionnaire. The research results say that there is a significant relationship between ethics in improving the performance of employees in the office.
