Abstract

An educator needs to continue to develop their potential in order to support improving the quality of students in schools. One of the self-potential development activities is to participate in training activities and the development of learning videos. This activity is carried out with the aim of providing experience to teachers in training activities and assisting in making learning videos. The participants in this activity were all teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kotabumi, North Lampung. The implementation of this activity is carried out in three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. At the planning stage, the team conducts cooperation, conducts preliminary studies, and develops concepts. At the implementation stage, the team conducted training and mentoring for teachers about making learning videos. At the evaluation stage, the team evaluates the series of activities that have been carried out by conducting interviews with training participants and mentoring. This service activity was carried out from 03 August 2021 to 28 September 2021. The results of this activity were obtained in the form of 3 (three) learning videos

Abstract

The number of cyber attacks is increasing. This happens thoroughly, both at the international and national levels. Technology, techniques, and methods of carrying out cyber attacks are also increasingly sophisticated and up-to-date. Responding to this phenomenon, this research was conducted to implement an application for detecting and mitigating backdoor-based attacks using Python Watchdog. The method used in this study is the experimental method. This research is a case study of backdoor attacks that have been experienced by Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi. In August – December 2021, one of the servers owned by Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi received a significant backdoor-based attack. This research implements Python Watchdog to detect foreign files that are indicated as a backdoor, then sends notifications. Referring to the notification, the administrator can take further action. Based on the research that has been done, Python Watchdog is proven to overcome backdoor attacks. Once Python Watchdog is enabled, backdoor attacks are no longer possible.

Abstract

Inventory management is the process of controlling and managing the assets and goods owned by an organization. At FTIK (Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science), Muhammadiyah University Kotabumi, there are various types of equipment and items that need to be inventoried, such as computer devices, laboratory equipment, and other tools. The prototype design of the room inventory list processing application is a response to the issues identified during the problem identification phase. The modeling of this application is done using a Use Case Diagram as its visual representation. The application designed in this research is intended for processing the room inventory list, using electronic devices as the processing tool for all transactions related to room inventory list management. The design aims to improve efficiency in inventory management by reducing delays and errors in the inventorying, recording, monitoring, and reporting of room inventory items

Abstract

An online store website facilitates both buyers and sellers to view products anytime and anywhere, while allowing sellers to easily promote their items to a wide audience. The lack of effective product promotion has resulted in a decrease in the store's revenue and manual inventory management. The purpose of this research is to enhance sales at AR Store and assist in checking product inventory to streamline and expedite services at AR Store. The Waterfall method is employed, which involves the following steps: Analysis, Design, Coding, and Testing. The system is designed using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and PHP. This research yields an online store website that provides information about products and available stock.

Abstract

The rapid increase in technological and scientific advancements has affected many aspects, including the changing characteristics and learning needs of Generation Z students. One example of this change is the increasing use of digital learning content. Not only does it help overcome post-pandemic learning loss, but also digital learning content that is engaging, easily accessible, and inclusive can boost students' interest in learning. Soekarno Hatta Private Elementary School in North Lampung is one of the schools that recognizes the urgency of the need for digital learning. The school intends to implement and enhance digital learning content. However, despite having produced several learning videos, the teachers at this school do not possess the skills to produce high-quality digital learning content. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity is to assist in increasing the production of digital learning content through the GuruVirtual.ID platform, a learning platform developed by Muhammadiyah University Kotabumi. To achieve optimal results, two methods were utilized: the mentoring method and the output-based partner participatory method. The mentoring method focuses on implementing learning content workshops, assisting in the preparation of learning scenarios, and guiding the practice of recording and editing learning videos based on the GuruVirtual.ID. In the participation method, partners were directed to produce learning content. In addition to enhancing partners' understanding of digital learning content production, this activity resulted in 16 learning videos produced by seven teachers at the school.
