Abstract

The use of technology in learning needs to be realized in real terms, because this is related to the progress of Indonesian education. However, it is very unfortunate that many learning activities in schools still seem monotonous and have not made the most of technology. One way to utilize technology in learning is to use it as media. By using digital media, it will make it easier for teachers and students to interact in class, especially on social studies learning material which has its own level of understanding and difficulty because it is social. In this study the authors used google earth media to help students understand the map material and see how students respond in learning assisted by google earth media. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative method with a case study approach. Sources of data obtained from journals and opinions of experts. The conclusion obtained from this research is that it is hoped that the use of Google Earth media can become one of the innovative and interesting media which can later motivate and improve student learning outcomes, especially in learning maps in Social Sciences subjects.

Abstract

The scope of technology today is very broad, including the world of education. In the world of education, there is an integration of technology that is applied to the learning process. In particular, elementary school teachers who must have teaching skills. One of them is Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). This study aims to find out about the teaching skills of teachers in elementary schools by applying Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) to improve student learning outcomes. The integration of TPACK can change the class atmosphere to be fun, such as showing pictures, videos, and material that is poured on PowerPoint. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in each subject by applying TPACK. However, it is not effectively used during distance learning due to several constraints, such as inadequate internet network, mobile phone memory that fills up quickly, and quotas run out quickly. In addition, there are several teachers who are less proficient in technology so that in implementing TPACK in learning it is not optimal.

Abstract

Pada dasarnya, setiap negara di dunia akan selalu mengembangkan konsep terbaik untuk mewujudkan cita-cita dan aspirasi bangsa, termasuk di bidang Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan di setiap negara berbeda karena dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan sejarah, latar belakang, kondisi budaya, sistem sosial, ekonomi masyarakat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendidikankKewarganegaraan di Korea Selatan. Pemilihan Korea Selatan sebagai objek penelitian dilatarbelakangi karena pendidikan di Korea Selatan telah diakui dunia sebagai sistem yang unggul. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan di Korea Selatan mengadopsi konsep Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di Asia. Korea Selatan menerapkan pendidikan nilai dan moral dengan menggunakan pendekatan terpisah yang berasal dari budaya dan religius. Budaya di sini yang dimaksud yaitu kolektivisme yang berasal dari Konfusianisme dan keyakinan yang merupakan agama leluhur. Warga Korea Selatan secara umum sering memperhatikan pendidikan guru-guru karena mereka meyakini bahwasannya kualitas dari pendidikan moral juga sangat ditentukan oleh kualifikasi pendidikan para guru.
