Abstract

ABSTRAK Pertumbuhan yang baik akan menciptakan manusia yang berkualitas di masa akan datang. Berdasarkan hasil pemantauan status gizi Kota Batusangkar tahun 2013 menunjukkan bahwa di Batusangkar 3,68% gizi buruk, 10,28% gizi kurang, 84,21% gizi baik dan 1,81% gizi lebih (indikator BB/U). Balita sangat pendek 12,2%,  balita pendek 19,89% dan balita normal 68,09% (indikator TB/U). balita sangat kurus 2,22%, balita kurus 8,15%, balita normal 79,45%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan zat gizi Asam Linoleat, EPA dan DHA dengan pertumbuhan anak umur 4-6 tahun di TK Kemala Bhayangkari  Kecamatan Lima Kaum Kota Batusangkar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian crossectional. Penelitian dilakukan di TK Kemala Bhayangkari Batusangkar Jumlah sampel 33 orang yaitu seluruh anak-anak TK Kemala Bhayangkari. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan  melalui pengisian formulir FFQ, timbangan dan microtoa/meteran. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu variabel dependen yaitu Pertumbuhan, dan variabel independen yaitu Zat Gizi Asam Linoleat, EPA dan DHA yang dianalisa secara univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan pertumbuhan normal 60.6% dan tidak normal 39.4%, Asam Linoleat cukup 60.6% dan Kurang 39.4%, EPA cukup 45.5% dan kurang 54.5%, DHA cukup 54.5% dan kurang 45.5%. Berdasarkan analisis bivariat diketahui bahwa asupan zat gizi Asam Linoleat dengan p=0.004 dan DHA p=0.002 (p<0.05) yaitu terdapat hubungan bermakna antara asupan asam linoleat dan DHA dengan pertumbuhan anak, sedangkan asupan zat gizi EPA dengan p=0.107 (p>0.05) tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna asupan EPA dengan pertumbuhan anak. Disarankan kepada semua orang tua untuk memperhatikan asupan zat gizi yang diberikan pada anak. Rekomendasi buat penelitian selanjutnya, bisa menggunakan metode case control.Kata kunci : Pertumbuhan, Asam linoleat, EPA, DHA  ABSTRACTGood growth will create quality human in the future. The study was conducted in kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari Batusanggkar Number of samples 33 all kindergarten children Kemala Bhayangkari. Data collection tool used by FFQ form filling, weighing and microtoa / meter. The variables studied were the dependent variable is growth, and the independent variables, Nutrition Substance-linolenic acid, EPA and DHA were analyzed using univariate and bivariate using Pearson correlation test. Statistical test results showed normal growth of 60.6% and 39.4% normal, enough linoleic acid 60.6% and 39.4% less, enough EPA 45.5% and less 54.5%, 54.5% DHA enough and less 45.5%. Based on bivariate analysis, it is known that nutrient intake of linoleic acid with P = 0.004 and DHA P = 0.002 P <0.05 ie there was a significant relationship between intake of linoleic acid and DHA with the growth of children, while the nutrient intake of EPA with P = 0107 which P > 0.05 there was no significant relationship with the child's growth EPA intake. Expected to all parents topay attention to the intake nutrients given to anak.Rekomendasi for further research, could use a case control method using two treatments on the sample.Keywords: Growth, Linoleic acid, EPA, DHA
