Abstract

Lafadz A'yun and 'Uyun, in terms of context, are not only interpreted as eyes but have many meanings. Judging from the syllable, the two words come from the same syllable but have different sentence forms. This study aims to find out more clearly the use of the words A'yun and 'Uyun and more about the relationship between the two in the Qur'an. This study is using by library research methods with the technical search for data sources followed by data analysis using semantic theory, namely by examining symbols or signs that express meaning, and the relationship of meaning to one another, based on descriptions by collecting verses about A'yun and 'Uyun in the Qur'an. The conclusion of this research is. In the context, the meaning of A'yun word is eyes, God's care and pleasing. Whereas the meaning of 'Uyun' word is the purpose of springs in Heaven.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, banyak orang yang memahami makna kebahagiaan terbatas pada apa yang dapat dihitung. Sehingga pengertian kebahagiaan menurut orang awam yaitu apabila orang memiliki uang banyak, sehat dan sukses di dunia.  Sedangkan pengertian kebahagiaan yang hakiki yaitu ketika manusia dapat menggapai ridho Allah SWT. Dalam penelitian ini akan menjelaskan tentang pengertian kebahagiaan menurut para sufisme klasik, modern serta penjelasan dari beberapa mufassir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengertian kebahagiaan yang hakiki dalam perspektif sufisme klasik dan modern. Tulisan ini merupakan penelitiaan kepustakaan yang menggunakan teknik dokumenter untuk mengumpulkan data-data yang bersumber dari buku, jurnal, ensklopedia, kamus. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif analisis. Penelitian ini menghasilkan poin utama, yaitu: beberapa tokoh Islam bersepakat bahwa kebahagiaan yang tertinggi adalah ketika dapat mendekatkan diri kepada Allah dan meraih surga-Nya.

Abstract

Today, many people's understanding of the meaning of happiness is limited to what can be counted. So that the meaning of happiness according to ordinary people is when people have a lot of money, are healthy, and are successful in the world. While the meaning true happiness is when humans can reach the blessing of Allah SWT. In this study, we will explain the meaning of happiness according to classical and modern Sufism as well as explanations from several commentators. This study aims to find out the meaning and ways of obtaining true happiness in the perspective of classical and modern Sufi. This paper is a library research that uses documentary techniques to collect data sourced from books, journals and, encyclopedias, dictionaries. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. This research produces the main points, namely: classical and modern Sufis agree that pleasure, wealth, and other life achievements are not a goal, but merely a means to achieve spiritual happiness. The highest happiness is when you can get closer to Allah (ma'rifatullah) and reach His heaven.
